Genshin focuses more on their world building rather than their characters and kept it simple,since this’ll be a turn based game that doesn’t take too much of a space they went crazy on the character designs,take Honkai impact 3rd as an example for a second despite being older they went in detail for their characters even the old ones as they have their augmentation which is basically a revamp.Himeko is an exception as it’s been years since she got a new content.
@Ayaka First of all i do totally agree with genshin characters having great designs but it’s just too simple (Which fits the game medieval theme perfectly) but it’s still feel lacking compared to Honkai and HSR with the futuristic character designs,i personally don’t like the old bronya design that much (Herrscher of Reason being an exception) but the new Bronya (Silverwing N-EX) has been a huge upgrade for her. It’s just my own taste though I’m aware that there would be people disagreeing.I love Albedo’s design but his hair really needs some adjustment.

It looks amazing but I always have a bit of a problem with turn-based combat since it's not down to how skillful you play, but to which order of things you're taking + layers of rng applying debuffs in order to defeat certain enemies. It's not "skill" based, I guess. Since there isn't that much variety in the movements of your character or the combat. People will definitely get bored of this really quickly since grinding will just be on auto mode 24/7; on the same stage, same enemies, until the next update in 42 days if it has the same schedule as genshin.
Not really, some people enjoy more strategy based combat instead of skill based. Personally I prefer both equally, and sometimes turn based can be more satisfying than real time combat
@@andrewrivera7496 Well, usually in those kind of strategy games, the ones that get the most rewarded out of "winning with strategy" are the ones using Awakened UR characters or something who can deal massive AOE or single target damage and has a revive ability, etc, etc. There's no strategy there apart from just obliterating everyone by just being OP. I guess it's just more satisfying for you since you enjoy beating people while putting everything on auto mode.
