I got one a week ago, its so good! I went from Fenix 6X Pro, to Fenix 7X Sapphire Solar, to Enduro 2. They are all awesome, but the Enduro 2 is amazing. The best watch face app is Fusion V2, with some tweaking and custom colors it is incredible how much data you can see clearly at a glance.
Probably the best microphone Ive ever heard in my life..

If you had to choose between the 7x solar or the Enduro 2 which would you pick? I’ve been trying to decide for a week now

The flashlight alone is worth the price of admission! The velcro band is super comfortable and lightweight. I had a Fenix 7X Sapphire Solar for a week, not knowing the Enduro 2 was being released, so I upgraded to the Enduro 2. The only feature it doesn't have compared to the Fenix 7X is HRV without an external sensor, but I called Garmin this week and they said an update is coming that will enable HRV on the Enduro 2 very soon.
it all depends on you wallet. if you have the bidget go for enduro 2, it is a better F7X SS. if you don waht to give that much money on a watch and don't need that much battery go any F7 you want as long you get a Saphire version, only Saphire versions have the dual band+multi frequency GPS. Everything else software relate from the enduro is coming to the Fenix 7 lineup
@@Cinestesic thank you. The Enduro 2 and F7 SS would be my 2 choices. I'm no runner at all but ride and lift. They both are more of a watch then I need but not having to charge it everyday is a win for me. I have Fitbits and fossil smartwatches and hate having to charge them
It is a pity It does not have a black titanium DLC finish but only a greyish.
The colour that it comes in is absolutely stunning so stop fussing about it.

They just enabled HRV on the beta software update! Now this watch really has it all!
What’s HRV?
@@reaper7078 It stands for heart rate variability. It's basically the variation in time between your heartbeats, measured at night while you sleep. Higher and/or more balanced HRV usually means you're in good health and recover faster.

I'm also having the issue of chossing between Fenix 7ss or enduro2. I can get either for a discount of 30% in Canada ... I know someone that does business with Garmin. So basically Fenix 7 for $900 or enduro2 for $1000 ish Canadian dollars.
It's just that lime green button that puts me off of the Enduro......

I think one thing that is very important is that you love the look of what you wear. So go with the fenix if you don't like the green on it.
My enduro is actually sleeping on my desk as I just prefer the other even if it's a bit better.
Just get the Enduro 2 and stop being a fussy pants. The design is cool and makes it stand out from the usual boring plain Garmin design. More eye catching 👍🏽

Enduro 3 is probably not before a year. But I would not be suprised to see a renewed model with the new HR sensor in a very near future.
@PascalMarquisUnbox they have just released the vivoactive 5 and venu 3. So you never know with Garmin 🤣
They are actually quite different model.
Enduro, Tactix, Epix, Quatix, they are all following the Fenix line.
It would be very surprising to see a Enduro 3 before event seeing a Fenix 8.

Using series 6 and 7 since around 3 years now and I never scratch it.
I only scratch my vented titanium band.

Unfortunately I don't have galaxy watch. I might test those kind of watch eventually but I'm not really into it.
Galaxy watch look to be from my perspective a smart watch.
While the watch I test here are sport watch, or navigation tool.
Really not the same client base.

None are better, they are just different. They are both top of the line.
Enduro 2 is bigger, with bigger battery and also got a flashlight.
Epix 2 got an amoled screen witch is super easy to read in any condition.

I think it's made to last way over 5 year.
But it's still electronic, and bad luck can happen.
It might last way less either.
It it helps, I've been using a factory refurbished Fenix 5 since December of 2018.

As long as you have sight to the sky, it does work. So yes it would work into an aircraft.

Lol at that lag/glitchy animation 7:17. Imagine this, you turn on your $2,000 NZD ultra premium sport watch for the first time and it lags before you've even fully turned it on. I've been watching videos about this watch because I know someone who won one and doesnt want it and is selling for a good price so I am tempted but I have an Apple Watch 7 and I'm struggling to justify that the Enduro 2 is actually better for my use. I'm not an athlete and I dont follow a training routine but I do a lot of mountain biking, skiing and occasional hiking so it could be handy, but on the flip side, according to "The Quatified Scientist", the Apple Watch heart rate and sleep monitoring is far more accurate. I can also use apps like Workoutdoors to download offline topo maps and load routes etc. Also I can use Siri, have access to all of my calendar, reminders, music etc etc so I am struggling to justify that the Enduro 2 is actually better. The only upside is the battery life and solar charging which is great but is it really necessary? I usually just chuck my Apple Watch on charge when I go for a shower or for like 30 mins before bed and that boosts it back up to like 90% which is easily enough to last through to the following night with ~30% remaining. The only time where the extra battery would be handy is when I go for a really long GPS mission like a multiday hike or a mountain bike ride that lasts more than 6-7 hours (the upper limit of what a standard apple watch can do on a charge). Any other things I should know about that might convince me that it's worth it?
The garmin Enduro aim public that push physical activities to limit. People who do vey long activity, go out of cellular coverage, multi-day activity. If that is not what you are into and an apple watch appeal you most go for it. It's just not something that appeal me as I am not the target for an apple watch.
@@PascalMarquisUnbox I ended up getting the enduro 2. I still have my Apple Watch on hand just in case I regret my decision but so far I’m enjoying it. Been wearing it 3 days now. The Apple Watch is definitely more comfortable haha.
You seem to have fairly large wrists and it still looks ridiculously oversized
I can't say that I have a lartge wrist. At least from my perspective. But I think it fit very well on it. Or at least you get used to it.
