I have always exercised... I had a panic attack in the car because I worried too much about my disabled son... this medicine or whatever they call it... gave me real nightmares... pressure on my chest... cardiac arrhythmia... restless even when I was in bed.. depression and anxiety we will always have, it is part of life.. just live with it and deal with it..
Venlafaxine increased my blood pressure, I never had any problems with that, I feel pain on the side of my head just above the eye, a little dizziness, chills, the cardiologist confirmed to me that it is because of the medication, and that it is strong, it can even speed up the heart. I informed the psychiatrist and I'm going to suspend it, he asked me to go down from 150mg to 75mg for 1 month, and then suspend it

Initially, effexor was effective. But after 3 years, I now have a ton of the side effects. Increased heart rate, higher blood pressure, uncontrolled anxiety. Can the side effects appear after 2 years of use?
I don't know your whole case but my guess is that these symptoms are probably related to something else. If you want to have a deeper discussion shoot me an email at anxious.fighter.birk@gmail.com

I’ve been on pristiq for 10 years, couldn’t get off it, tried compounding smaller doses at a pharmacy. Nope. But decided to try changing over to Effexor, I’m on week 2 of 37.5mg & Pristiq reduced to 50mg. Stop taking Pristiq next week and Effexor goes up to 75mg. I am already noticing a slight improvement in mood and lessened anxiety. I personally think Pristiq was making me feel worse. I have more side effects on Effexor so far though, hopefully the side effects reduce and I continue to improve. I really want my life to improve.

This the only thing that helped me with my stupid apathy, so sad that it feels like this thing losing effectiveness for me lately 😥
