Okay, you've made your point. A lot of you hear "I'm the lord and saviour" and a lot of you will continue to say "One more god rejected" because you prefer that. Thank you, now let's try for a more unique take.
i admit the "i am the lord and savior" seems a bit unfitting and i think that sentence isnt in revelations but the tts doesnt make it easier though the savior part is as clear as the heaven in "war broke out in heaven" which honestly is way more metal than one more god rejected.
Wow now that i know what the some of the real lyrics are, this "force battle" song if we were to take it from a perspective of someone, its an angel trying to reach the demi-fiend about what lucifer is trying to do and convince him to work with god. Maybe thats why there are little angels in the game story beside that 1 girl i cant remember her name. That could explain why the lyrics are muffled and distorted.
I feel while most of these are taken from the Bible, some could just simply be referencing the game. It doesn’t completely invalidate the possibility of original lyrics. And to be completely fair, unless we research the other songs to see if they also make references(which I’m sure nobody wants to do) we can’t assume they can’t be original.

"I'm the bug inside you" He literally has a bug inside him 🐛 "I have your back to the wall" I think this is eluding to how demi fiend almost always seems to overwhelm his opponents or it could be in reference to how demi fiend at the beginning of the game is sort of a pawn for lucifer
Ive always understood it as the bug, and in extension, lucifer, forcing you into these trials to grow into an all powerful demi fiend. Those 2 lines stand prominently at the start of the song, then interject as the rest of the poem/song plays out.
I actually think there's reason to believe that "I am the bug inside you" *could* be correct, should we take the plot of the game fairly literally, it starts with a bug being put into you. They're referred to as the Magatama and probably have a bunch of figurative or symbolic meanings but... It is the bug inside you. The one from which your power hails. But hey, I don't know Jack Frost worth of shit so maybe it's another bible verse.
That may be true but given that all other lines are from revelation it doesn’t make much sense that 2 are just randomly slipped in direct references to the game’s plot.
So I found a track on SoundCloud that has the lyrics isolated, so I think the “War broke out in heaven” might actually be “Hark our God in heaven” Also I think the “I’m the bug inside you” line is actually *Fight* the bug inside you, tell the Demi-fiend to fight against his new demonic side. Still can’t tell whatever the fuck the “I have your back to the wall” line is meant to be, but I’m pretty sure the “to the wall” part is actually only 2 syllables.
The I have your back to wall party could mean: there’s nowhere to run, being cornered, and is typically a threat. If someone has your back to the wall, your struggling/losing to the imposing figure your are fighting (IE: boss or Metatron)
I think the bug part is refers to the fact that demifiend has a literal bug inside him and the back to the wall part means that you have no other option than to fight and either win or die.
What about the part of "Thou shalt not oppose the wrath of God"? All you did was put "Drink of the wine of the wrath of God" when it doesn't sound at all like it no matter how much I try to force myself to hear it
I thought someone figured out that the first line is "I am your lord and savior" by isolating the vocals and slowing down the track but I can't find that source anymore so maybe my mind made it up.
Nah dawg. Someone did find that out and put it down somewhere. It's "Im the lord and savior." Now, as for "I have your back to the wall", i'm not sure.
it's really cool to ser that i have been singing along this shit for about 3 years and i been doing it wrong this whole time. still, "One more god rejected" it's just too fucking metal to not be in the song, so i'm just gonna sing it wrong.
To be fair to the "I'm the bug inside you" part, there can be two possibilities: 1. The bug refers to the magatamas the Demi-Fiend can collect and equip, which look bug-like (if the first one is any indication). 2. Some lyric videos posit the TTS is actually saying "I am the Lord and Savior," which falls in line with the rest of the "praise God" lines.
Yeah I had to relisten to the song to make sure, and it does sound more like that now that he points it out. But “One more god rejected” could pretty much be the tag line for the whole series :p
Honestly glad I saw this video before I heard the song for myself. Because otherwise, I would've just assumed the lyrics were done by the clapping dogs from "Plumbers don't wear ties".
To be perfectly honest, for the very first line, it always sounded to me as "I need Magatsuhi" or "I crave Magatsuhi", something along those lines. Considering that, in essence, the game revolves around Magatsuhi all the time, it kinda fit for me, especially since a good amount of the fights that involve this theme involve the demons you're fighting wanting to take your Magatsuhi in one way or another, especially in the early game. That also makes me think that the song is entirely from the perspective of the various enemies you fight with this theme, which makes "I have your back to the wall" seem pretty fitting. You are quite literally in an unavoidable confrontation, after all - they *do* have your back to a wall, and now you need to fight them off or otherwise die. Then the later lines from there could very well be Bible verses - same way you find out the purpose of the world and how Reasons are required to recreate it in accordance with God's will only after a few rough battles, the song only goes into more religious territory further into the song. In addition, further down the line you start fighting followers of various Reasons, usually because you're trying to stop whatever they're currently doing. Looking at it from a specific angle, the person whose Reason is realized would, in some sense, be considered a god, so religious quotes being used there would make sense. After that, you, as the Demi-fiend, continue to fight off both demons wanting Magatsuhi and followers of varied Reasons, turning away all but one Reason (or in some cases, turning every single one of them away). And there are 3 Reasons throughout the game - Yosuga, Musubi and Shijima. The line "One more God rejected" is also stated 3 times - an indicator of turning away all other Reasons. And then at the end, it speaks of fearing God, and that Satan will be released in a thousand years. In essence, "the hour of His judgment has come" in the form of the Conception, where those strong enough to conceive their Reasons are to battle it out until only one remains. As for "Satan will be released"... well, in theology, the fallen angel Lucifer and the devil Satan are regularly considered to be the same entity. Lucifer has found the means to foster a champion, one that has the potential to fight against the Great Will - *you* as the one and only Demi-fiend. In essence, the stronger you have become, the more Lucifer's influence spread throughout the world of the Conception - Satan is being released, as now there is a being that will, intentionally or otherwise, use his power to accomplish things. So, to make a long story short, from my perspective it feels like the song tries to (sort of vaguely, admittedly) indicate everything that happens throughout the game, mostly through the eyes of the enemies you fight. When you start the game, hearing this song makes you feel like you're in trouble - the Demi-fiend, along with all of the other survivors of the Conception, "survived a fall from grace" to continue wandering the Vortex World and recreate it in their own way, and at the time the song is playing, they are backed against a wall. Further down the road, the Demi-fiend becomes known for not openly supporting any of the given reasons thus far, being seen as "rejecting" them all, since you only really get to choose later. By this point, for the player, the song still makes them cautious, but not quite as much as before. Then the war between Reasons begins, and people try to become the creator of the new world... and by this point, the Demi-fiend is _feared_ as now he's far, far more powerful, to the point that most ordinary demons can only really slow him down a tiny bit. And by this point, the few times the song appears, it's not even remotely intimidating to hear it anymore - your back's indeed against the wall, but your enemies are the ones in trouble now, fighting the chosen of Lucifer himself. That's not to say that the given version of all the lyrics being Bible verses isn't interesting - heck, I'd say it's probably more reasonable than my thoughts on the matter - but it's how I personally understood it since the first time I heard it and caught some of the lyrics. Having the song reference the entirety of your journey just seems incredibly fitting to me, all in all.
I've definitely heard a text to speech that sounds exactly like it. iirc it was built into an older Mac OS and it was called Albert. If I had access to it I'd run all interpretations of the lyrics through it and see which comes out closest
i think the line "i am the bug inside you" might actually be correct. in Nocturne there IS A BUG INSIDE YOU which was planted there at the start of the game to make you the Demi-Fiend.
the song comes from the bug inside demi fiend and it sings whenever there's a battle because demi fiend lost his walker during conception. so the music and song we hear is something demi fiend hear from his head and the bug interpreted it. we're done folks, this is the truth of nocturne's ost. i solved the myth.
After listening with my brain turned off for a bit, the last word of the second mystery line sounds vaguely like "tomorrow". So who knows, maybe combing through the bible with that in mind could yield results.
Those first two lines are most likely the same "I'm the bug inside you" and "I have your back to the wall" to coincide w/ magatama the parasite that makes a human a demon
I feel as though it sounds closer to “one more god rejected” as there is a clear j sound in rejected. As for the “thou shall not oppose the wrath of god” this also kinda sounds like “I shall oppose the wrath of god” “I’m the lord and savior” also pretty clearly sounds like what is being said. Sounds like the Demifiend wants to overthrow god and take the throne for himself (hence why he is called King Demifiend in smt v) but I dunno
I thought"im the bug inside you" is lucifer telling the demi fiend that he's the power in him or it is he who is driving him and gave him powers, because well he did give the bug in the beginning of the game
Honestly I've always thought the One more God rejected line sounded like it was saying something else. Like everyone just kinda subconsciously forced themselves to hear ir.
Tbh i never heard "One more god rejected" until i saw the others coments i always heard "I wanna die" which correlates to my experience with the game. Ignore the fact my ears completely negated either the "Heaven" or "Rejected"
As for some lyrics that have been recently uncovered though I do disagree with some of it. I'm the bug inside you.(?) I have your back to the wall.(?) Strike with all plagues. Drink of the wine of the wrath of God. WAR BROKE OUT IN HEAVEN! I'm the bug inside you.(?) WAR BROKE OUT IN HEAVEN! I have your back to the wall.(?) WAR BROKE OUT IN HEAVEN! Strike with all plagues. Thou shall not oppose the wrath of God. FEAR! Fear god and give glory to him! For the hour of his judgement has come to you! NOW! When the thousand years have been expired, Satan will be released. Judgment has come to you!
The reason why I replaced the second "Drink of the wine of the wrath of God" with "Thou shall not oppose the wrath of God" is because the syllables didn't match up correctly but the other did.
All lyrics can't be bible versus. Some have to be edited in some way or completely made up versus to make this make sense. Of course I can be wrong and all are bible versus and my ears bad. Though I can believe if some of them are just edited to add variety.
Yeah you're probably right about the lyrics, but "one more god rejected" is pretty accurate to what you do for the neutral and TDE endings so I still like it as a line
personally i feel that the first line might say something with "god/lord" and "savior", maybe like "I'm the lord(?) and savior" i don't really know biblical lines so it could be a stretch
Now that I'm watching this video that has subtitles to the song they're completely different to the other subtitles to the same song from the other video I watched it still sounds like the subtitles are correct even though both of the subtitles are completely different weird.
I think whatever you read on screen as you hear it will sound like that thing you're reading. It's like those tricks when if you read "green needle" you'll hear it say green needle and if you read "brainstorm" you'll hear the voice say brainstorm. Hence why either vid/lyrics might seem correct. It could be a case of that.
I always thought he was saying “one more god in heaven” idk but to me it sounds like the syllables work too well when I tell my brain to hear “war broke out in heaven” almost like it was recorded by a real singer instead of text to speech.
Satan technically is in the game if you consider the 7 headed beast that Mother Harlot is riding to him. Which I do. But that’s just my interpretation.
"Ihavyourbactodawall" is what the second lyric sounds like... Perhaps this one the one that needs to be focused on the most. What else could it sound like if separated apart? Do it backwards. All. Is the all part actually there or it is the reverb after? It could be Todowa. "Ihavurbactodawa." So the key is the "todowa" part at the end. How many words match it in pronunciation? For "To the wall" Regarding a search engine for rhyme's I find... "Toothed wheel" ???, "Toothed whale", "to the full.", and "go to the wall". It could even be "Total all" But leading down this I hear "Total war" at the end now. "Ihaveyourbac total war." Perhaps could it be... "All heaven back to the war." I think the lyrics here might actually be towards the war itself as all the rest of the lyrics are. Going back to "Iamthegodbesideyou." it could be more than thought. "I am the doubt inside you." for example. God and doubt if jumbled as it is and said quickly can sound similar. Where d is at the end of god has more of a t sound than d and more of a d than a g. Demifiend still has the light of god and humanity in them at this point. This could be the doubt that all gods children have when possessed by evil. This same doubt can be related to the later judgement. "I am the doubt inside you." "All heaven back to the war." "Strike with all plagues." "Drink of the wine of the wrath of god." "War Broke out in heaven." "I am the doubt inside you." "War Broke out in heaven." "All heaven back to the war." "War Broke out in heaven." "Strike with all plagues." "Drink of the wine of the wrath of god." "Fear!" "Fear God and give glory to him!" "For the hour of his judgement has come to you!" "Now!" "When the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released." "Judgement has come to you!" (Then it loops back to doubt) Etc.
there seem to be 2 different lines about the wrath of god and you labled both as 'drink of the wine of the wrath of god' when the other one sounds very different (and because its TTS the lines should always sound the same) most people seem to interpret the second 'wrath of god' line as 'Thou shall not oppose the wrath of god'
I remember watching a video of this song with lyrics or subtitles at the very least and apparently that video was wrong because I used the line one more God rejected and I kind of thought the song still made sense I guess I kind of tricked myself to believe in that those lines would make sense because I trusted the authority of a random video on the internet.
My headcanon on this matter is that all those "wrong" sets of lyrics are our Power of Observation overwriting the "true" lyrics that YHVH is trying to force onto humans. What makes this fit even better is that since we never meet YHVH in Nocturne, one could argue that this artificial voice is them preaching to Demi-Fiend. But out-of-universe, the phonetics to these Bible quotes fit better than the meme lyrics. No argument there.
The "I'm the Bug Inside You" Line refers to the Magatama and the Protagonist, and the "I have your back to the wall" is in and of itself still an allusion to the Apoc/Revelations - This is it no turning back, no other options, you have to cower or fight. The 1st person speaker is possibly Lucifer (as the person who infects the Demi-Fiend) screaming through the player; not certain need to contemplate more. But the 1st person lines make sense as the "I'm the Bug inside You" and 'I have your back to the wall" when one thinks of the story. The 3rd person lyrics follow the rest of the battle themes, which are Biblical.
Okay, you've made your point. A lot of you hear "I'm the lord and saviour" and a lot of you will continue to say "One more god rejected" because you prefer that. Thank you, now let's try for a more unique take.

Wasn't it made with text-to-speech library "Albert"? Damn, sus.
Most religions hate video games, but video games LOVE RELIGION
You know even if One More God Rejected is the incorrect name it’s still a cool line
One more the4thsnake rejected but seriously I can't wait for smt5
I've definitely heard a text to speech that sounds exactly like it. iirc it was built into an older Mac OS and it was called Albert. If I had access to it I'd run all interpretations of the lyrics through it and see which comes out closest
i think the line "i am the bug inside you" might actually be correct.
in Nocturne there IS A BUG INSIDE YOU which was planted there at the start of the game to make you the Demi-Fiend.
Man survive you fall from grace goes so much harder tho. Lucky War broke out in heaven is still metal as hell
the song comes from the bug inside demi fiend and it sings whenever there's a battle because demi fiend lost his walker during conception. so the music and song we hear is something demi fiend hear from his head and the bug interpreted it. we're done folks, this is the truth of nocturne's ost. i solved the myth.
After listening with my brain turned off for a bit, the last word of the second mystery line sounds vaguely like "tomorrow". So who knows, maybe combing through the bible with that in mind could yield results.
3:24 I think this is wrong, the lyrics here should be "Thou shall not opose the wrath of God"
i hear "Do not oppose the wrath of God"
good detective work my friend!
3:14 to me sound like
"Strike them down with the wrath of the sword"
Ah, that sounds good, but is it in the bible?
Those first two lines are most likely the same "I'm the bug inside you" and "I have your back to the wall" to coincide w/ magatama the parasite that makes a human a demon
1:37 Actually, Satan exists as a magatama
I feel as though it sounds closer to “one more god rejected” as there is a clear j sound in rejected. As for the “thou shall not oppose the wrath of god” this also kinda sounds like “I shall oppose the wrath of god”
“I’m the lord and savior” also pretty clearly sounds like what is being said. Sounds like the Demifiend wants to overthrow god and take the throne for himself (hence why he is called King Demifiend in smt v) but I dunno
Also good to note that the target audience is japanese and english lyrics arw often just used as any other instrument would
"I am the lord and saviour/Return you back to the law"
Wait it was made with text to speech?!?!?
So Siri just one day decided that one more god was rejected?
It used the Albert text to speech on MacOS devices I'm pretty sure.
@@jminich887 Yea I researched it just after watching the vid.
Just thought it was funny thinking of Siri or something rejecting god.
"I'm the bug inside you" to me sounds a lot like "I'm the lord and saviour"
I always heard the "bug" line as: I'm in Heaven Above and Outside You.
Bug sounds like people misshearing "above."
I thought “I’m the bug inside you” was I’m the lord and savior” cause I remember reading that somewhere
I'm pretty sure the first lines are "I don't want any balsamic vinegar after all."
As for some lyrics that have been recently uncovered though I do disagree with some of it.
I'm the bug inside you.(?)
I have your back to the wall.(?)
Strike with all plagues.
Drink of the wine of the wrath of God.
WAR BROKE OUT IN HEAVEN!
I'm the bug inside you.(?)
WAR BROKE OUT IN HEAVEN!
I have your back to the wall.(?)
WAR BROKE OUT IN HEAVEN!
Strike with all plagues.
Thou shall not oppose the wrath of God.
FEAR!
Fear god and give glory to him!
For the hour of his
judgement
has come
to you!
NOW!
When the thousand years have been expired,
Satan will be released.
Judgment
has come
to you!
The IM bug inside you could be actually mean "IM the lord and savior"
Yeah you're probably right about the lyrics, but "one more god rejected" is pretty accurate to what you do for the neutral and TDE endings so I still like it as a line
"One more god rejected" is an amazing line...
personally i feel that the first line might say something with "god/lord" and "savior", maybe like "I'm the lord(?) and savior" i don't really know biblical lines so it could be a stretch
one more lyric rejected
Now that I'm watching this video that has subtitles to the song they're completely different to the other subtitles to the same song from the other video I watched it still sounds like the subtitles are correct even though both of the subtitles are completely different weird.
I think whatever you read on screen as you hear it will sound like that thing you're reading. It's like those tricks when if you read "green needle" you'll hear it say green needle and if you read "brainstorm" you'll hear the voice say brainstorm. Hence why either vid/lyrics might seem correct. It could be a case of that.
The first line sounds like "I am your lord and saviour" to me
I was just gonna search up fierce battle but this is also pretty cool
Word? This soundtrack has lyrics. I was singing it wrong and sing it like " O ra, o ra ra! RA! "
The bug inside you is talking about the main character himself
Listening to it again it sound more like “One more god in heaven” than “war broke out in heaven” or “one more god rejected”
Have you tried using the Albert tts from MacOS devices? I think it might help since it's apparently where the garbled voice comes from.
No idea how.
@@The4thSnake I think any Apple or Mac product will do, though a video I found that showed Albert was from 2013.
@@Tacos299 I have a Mac OS Emulator that I can use! I've had a few clips of the supposed lyrics, and I was attempting to recreate the filter
@@Sliver Did it work?
@@Tacos299 it does, I will test out your lyrics later
I still have been attempting to recreate the filter
I always thought he was saying “one more god in heaven” idk but to me it sounds like the syllables work too well when I tell my brain to hear “war broke out in heaven” almost like it was recorded by a real singer instead of text to speech.
Someone isolated the voice clips years ago
Its most definitely "One More god rejected"
It's easy if you know how to decompile a PS2 game, The lyrics are separate from the instrumental.
It's not
idk if it's just me but "im the bug inside you" can also sound like "im the god inside you"
I think "I'm the bug inside you" could actually be "I'm the lord and saviour".
Strangely enough, now I hear it as: "One more God in Heaven"
honestly, I'm pretty sure the first line is just "I am the lord and/your savior"
I always thought “I am the bug inside you” was “I am the Lord and Savior”
Satan technically is in the game if you consider the 7 headed beast that Mother Harlot is riding to him. Which I do. But that’s just my interpretation.
My reason behind this is that Satan in SMT4A being based on said design btw.
theres also magatama with his name
@@t-universegamer7609 lmao I completely forgot about that
im the bug inside you kinda sounds like "im the lord and saviour" because why not
"Ihavyourbactodawall" is what the second lyric sounds like...
It could even be "Total all"
But leading down this I hear "Total war" at the end now.
"Ihaveyourbac total war." Perhaps could it be... "All heaven back to the war."
I think the lyrics here might actually be towards the war itself as all the rest of the lyrics are.
"I am the doubt inside you."
"All heaven back to the war."
"Strike with all plagues."
"Drink of the wine of the wrath of god."
"War Broke out in heaven."
"I am the doubt inside you."
"War Broke out in heaven."
"All heaven back to the war."
"War Broke out in heaven."
"Strike with all plagues."
"Drink of the wine of the wrath of god."
"Fear!"
"Fear God and give glory to him!"
"For the hour of his judgement has come to you!"
"Now!"
"When the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released."
"Judgement has come to you!"
(Then it loops back to doubt)
Etc.
For the second lines I always hear as "I am the one true god".
there seem to be 2 different lines about the wrath of god and you labled both as 'drink of the wine of the wrath of god' when the other one sounds very different (and because its TTS the lines should always sound the same) most people seem to interpret the second 'wrath of god' line as 'Thou shall not oppose the wrath of god'
pretty sure the first line is "I'm the lord and savior"
So I wasn’t the only who thought it wasn’t One more god rejected……
The 3rd person lyrics follow the rest of the battle themes, which are Biblical.
hey 4thsnake i have a question for you, have you seen the two Venom movies if so what are your thoughts on them.
