I just turned 60 and grew up a Zeppelin Rush Sabbath ect. fan and still am i never dived deep into Zappa till a few years ago To me he is a Musical genius , a comedian , and a college professor all rolled into one person

The basic track consisted of this song, the following solo section (called either On The Bus or Toad-O-Line depending on the release) and Why Does It Hurt When I Pee as one piece. The instrumental midsection in the Wet T-Shirt song was rehearsed by the band as an insert (Zappa composed short instrumental pieces to be inserted ni songs yet to be wriitten). Sometime later during the same rehearsal time he wrote the rest of the song and told the band to play insert #5 (or whichever # insert it was) as the midsection. This song is part of a larger rock opera called Joe's Garage. Zappa is a wonderful rabbit hole to explore.

For one thing, you don't get the abrupt cuts that happens when they split the tracks up. "Thing Fish" is another Zappa album using the same format, but it''s even more risque than Joes Garage.

You may or may not know, but the Zappa rabbit hole is as deep as it gets. 63 full releases before his death, and another 60 or so posthumously. There are thousands of songs to pick from and almost no two sound alike. Zappa was a genre of his own. The Yellow Snow Suite, Inca Roads, or Watermelon in Easter Hay are all great starters if you want to check out more. I enjoyed this reaction. Thanks!
Wild place to start your Zappa journey. Zappa is my total GOD, so I like seeing people react. If you do Inca Roads, which is the usual first track people react to, I'd say do the audio only, as the live video with the animations, though good, is distracting to the max.
If you want something that's probably a bit more what you are looking for try "Apostrophe" (from Apostrophe ('), "Muffin Man (Muffin Man Live 1977 if you can find it), "Variations On The Carlos Santana Secret Chord Progression" from Shut Up And Play Your Guitar or "Stevies Spanking" (from Them Or Us).
there's supposed to be an amazing guitar solo at the end and it goes into the next song which is: "Why Does It Hurt When I Pee?" - No gaps in Zappa music

@@B.RyanReactions I you want to make views a bit and have fun you can try "Don't eat the yellow snow" full suite. It's a bit weird but funny and the music is nice. (roughly 10mns) Problem with Zappa is there are too much albums and some of them are vastly overrated, especially the 70's ones like Apostrophe (not consistent), Grand Wazoo (boring jazz fusion) Overnight Sensation etc. and Hot Rats (terrible). Those are usually old fan favorites, and people will recommend you songs from those ones. Like someones in the comment section recommended "Muffin Man" and "Apostrophe", "Watermelon" and Po-Jama Peoplen which are incredibly boring, some of the worst Zappa songs but for some reason, with bad lyrics and borings riffs, those tracks are trending on youtube zappa reactions, no idea why. No offense to the guy who recommended them of course, it's just my opinion. Other suggestion : I'm a Beautiful Guy + Beauty Knows No Pain + Charlie's Enormous Mouth 3 shorts songs from the album "You Are What You Is". You can listen to the fourth in a row. Accessible, catchy with funny/stupid lyrics, nice 80's slick sound. But you won't make views...
