Parks and Rec and Xena: Warrior Princess are both part of the Tommy Westphall universe, meaning that they exist entirely in the head of an autistic child.
@@gamerman782 It's just funny to think that these characters are doppelgangers of the celebrities. The kind of people who'd get hired as their stunt/phot doubles.
"You deserve and award. Not this one...obviously. This one belongs to me but some other one. Some other lesser award." May need to rewatch this show. I forgot how great Ron is.
Here in Australia our woman of the year was X Pm Tony Abbott, he was also the minister for women ,as he said "They're not suitable for top jobs" His daughters must be proud 🎉
I don't think the person who made this compilation realises that when Ron says "amen" to marriage being slavery, he's talking about himself, not women...
I don’t think the specific comment is super feminist, but I know a lot of guys who say they’re huge supporters of equality, who would still dismiss “women’s studies” as unnecessary and unimportant. The scene is Ron wanting to pay for Andy to go to college, Andy picking this class, Ron having no objections, then joining in to a lecture with a professor who clearly had some very different politics than him - yet he approached it with respect, listened attentively and with an open mind, including strongly acknowledging where he found himself in agreement and on common ground. I like that about him.
It's sad that I don't believe that a show would have the balls to do this kind of plot thread nowadays. Unless it was the kind of show that thrives off that kind of attention. (be that positive or negative)
How many times does Ron troll Leslie? I love "The IUD Award," but they left out Ron calling it The "Dorothy Everytime Smurf Girl Trophy for Excellence in Female Stuff."
The fact that Ron mentioned camp Xena proves that Xena the warrior princess exists in this universe breaking reality since he married Xena.
Genius.

He also hooked up with God of War's Freya
Could just be a different actor in the Xena movie in Parks and Rec

To this day some feminists have even condemned marriage as a glorified form of slavery.
Ron: Amen
Best reaction 😂
And you wonder why it's mostly men, not women, who don't want to get married anymore
The fact that Ron even goes to WNBA games (plural) should be enough to make him a Woman of the Year Candidate.
It’s more than most women have done for women’s sports.
Happy International Women's Day to all the women out there but ESPECIALLY RON SWANSON

Leslie’s realization and that expression at the beginning of the video was hilarious.😂😂😂
Ron just looks so happy to see that free breakfast buffet.😊
Goes to WNBA games because he enjoys the quiet and no one bothers him
Ron trolling Leslie when he won woman of the year was hilarious
His mom broke his dad’s jaw 😂

God bless our upside down cousins!
Honestly do strip clubs have free buffets??? Cause...they should lol seems like a missed opportunity, I've never been to one so I don't know
That sounds like something someone who has DEFINITELY been to a strip club would say…🤨 lol
I've never heard of a strip club, what is that?
@@L.SeveralTimes. same!
Some serve food yes. Buffets, bar food and classier food as well.
Wait a minute. Hello beautiful.
Never come between Ron and a free breakfast 👍

I think thst is the joke

I'm pretty sure he means both ways, Ron is unironically a feminist and I'm sure he believes marriage as a whole is a scam
@@TheBoardGamerron was just making a boomer joke
Amen!
Sometimes it takes a real man to be best girl
Did not remember Middle Place Mindy to be presenting Ron's award
Annabel Vendergraff at 3:16 sounds like Tammy 2 XD
Camp Xena?
I think that's called foreshadowing.
"About time" is one of the funniest jokes inthe entire series.
Ron Swanson inspires lots of women

Ron is true to management style taking of credit!
Happy International Women's Day to all the Tammy's of the world . They need to be recognised.
Amen - Ronald Swanson
Okay let's be real though, Stephi Graff is a 6 at best
Ok Tom
A women’s organization made a mistake? 😂
Ron won woman of the year before bruce jenner. Ironic
This little fella was just giggling as he typed up his little witticism
What's the context behind this episode?
5:46 -- Mindy from The Medium Place
