This was the simplest way to do this that I could find, period. I know nothing about pc’s, ZERO. I just purchased one with the sole purpose of playing 7d2d. I was struggling trying to do it how Khaine explains it. Which is not much of an explanation. Took me maybe 10 min doing it like this. Thanks bro
one question i have. I have had issues of null reference exceptions and issues with my player profile with both DF and Vanilla. Do you reccomend having your 7d2d game completly cleaned before you make a copy and add the DF Mod? i think i wasnt doing that before and that may be why i was experincing issues, but im not 100% sure. Just trying to make sure i do everything right so i can enjoy the mod. Thanks again and as others as said the best video on installing DF.
The benefit of a dedicated server is that another PC will be handling all the hard work of processing the server stuff which can allow better game play.

you copied the file then pasted it at the bottom of the page. How did you do that? Windows 11 has no option to do this.
I have done this a couple times and it. Always says no trader even when I try df navezgane map or kaines df map.
Check your version. 7D2D updated today with 21.2. Right click your 7D2D game in steam, go to properties, then BETAS. Change to 21.1.

Yeah, I recommend doing a clean install and then copy. Also, make sure your on the right version and not a test.

Launcher? You just load the game. Can tell it worked if the screen is different. Will say Darkness Falls.
im literally downloading the modzip from khaine and its stuck on 0% it doesnt go up
Im not sure. Azure can be slow, usually there is a nexus link as well which may be faster?

Yes. Darkness falls does not work well with any other mods.

Do you know how to invite friends?
Both people launch the game. One person starts the game. Once loaded, the other friend right clicks on person in friend list and does join game.
