Congratulations!!! your method is perfect, your video describes exactly the process, and I'm amazed with the tools that you use, thank you very much for sharing your knowledge and experience!!!
I have bought and used these tools and find them to be excellent. For years I have struggled to position sound posts with the conventional setter, never with a perfect outcome. With this tool I managed it in one hour from receipt. The first post was a little short, so using the same angles I cut the next slightly longer and it fitted spot on. The cost is equivalent to having a soundpost fitted at a violin shop.
Hello, I bought your system VS-PRO 2 + a few years ago and now I lost the the G2 cap (ball only) for violin. what I need is the #12 in your catalogue. Kind regards. Paulo
fantastics tools! very thanzs! I bought recently and I highly recommend a question. I have a violin with a bit annoying in A and E strings nasal sound, a beautiful sound and D string, G string and a bit off. Sound post move to the center and back, might be a good idea? Thanks, and congratulations for this tool ;)
Hello! Is it also a possibility to glue the soundpost in while still in the building process? I have a feeling that my instrument would rattle with soundposts otherwise.. ;)!

This has to be the most convaluted method I've ever seen on how to do this.
convoluted
The end result is what actually counts. I would be interested to hear if you have a better method of defining the sound post top and back angles(?)
Not any check fot proper fitting through the endpin hole is done!
Very poor technique!
There is a better way, check this video ua-cam.com/video/jT43gH_3B64/v-deo.html
