Great video 40! I love how a pedal can change your whole sound for the better. You just have to dial it in. If I only had the time to really dig in and explore!!!👍🏻
Oh for sure! A subtle hit of a pedal can change a solo immensely! One thing I have experienced that I enjoy not having the time… because when I do have time it makes your experience even better! Thanks for your comment.
I had that exact Kramer baretta in 86 I had to order it from Kramer and because it was white I waited about 3 months for it but worth it and I regret selling it. I love the Dragon wah myself and it's cool to see one on your board.
You have quite the pedal collection, 40 Grit. Enjoying your videos. I had an MIJ Blue flake Kramer Focus 1000 that I bought in the mid 80’s. It didn’t quite feel right to me, so it sat in its case, in my closet for more than I played it. Fast forward to 2014, I ended making an even trade on it for a MIM 2011 3 tone tobacco burst 1960’s reissue Fender Stratocaster. It sounds and plays great. Did I make a bad trade. Just wanted your opinion. Won’t hurt my feelings. Lol 🤘🏼🎸👍🏻
Interesting comments on the Boss/EVH W/D/W delay -- I was considering getting it but was hesitant as I consider the W/D/W rig to be "overwhelming" as well -- not in a bad sense, but in a very specific sense; it doesn't "enhance" your tone -- it IS your tone and will define it. That is all good and well if you want to be defined by that very specific sound, but otherwise I think it would be too much.
I just saw where a guy got advice from Billy Gibbons to boost the 400 frequency setting to get his tone and remember somebody showed Ed’s 2 boosted frequencies but forgot which ones they were. Do you know what they were?

Thanks! I appreciate you watching and commenting!
Ran into your channel a few weeks ago. Very informative. You must be in Cali, like me, for the garage to be 95 degrees in the morning.
Thanks for being here! I’m in Phoenix…. Ugh. I was in Temecula at one time though.

After serious debate, I will not be doing wet/dry/wet for the reasons that you have stated. You hit the nail on the head sir.

I’ve heard that as well…. But no idea. If you figure it out let me know!! Thanks for watching.
@@40gritguitars I think it was covered by Pete Thorn and others - I think it was a scooped eq line with one lower one up and a higher one boosted too.
I’ll check it out… love me some Pete Thorn!
Why 40 grit and not 36 grit on a grinder 👶🎤🙏🦺👶🎤🙏🦺
I acquired this name in 1999 during my military time. It just stuck…. As I got older the grade of sandpaper became less abrasive.
