Of the 3 Voron Bros I like this one the best. Mr. Lonewolf mentioned that the reason why it is so unstable is because it has this big metal plate on its’ roof and that causes it to be top heavy. That squeaking noise every one hears is actually the air dryer going off. Cheers!!! 🤘😬🤘
Air dryer?
I actually like the squeak, it gives it personality and reminds me of my old car with a squeaky clutch pedal.
I had a similar Ford Probe that did that as well with the 5 speed lol 😂
I’m liking your spec pop ups 🤠. I love the d because of its good tyre diameter & choice, nice engine and good articulation & of course it’s versatility. Some trucks are simply not good with a low or high saddle but the d seems to cope quite well, not losing steering authority too easily. As always another top notch upload, thanks mate 🤡
I thought you would like the spec pop ups LOL. I agree, it retains its steering authority even with this heavy loads on saddles unlike a lot of other trucks. I think too many people sleep on the voron because of the more popular trucks, but it’s definitely one of the better off-road class vehicles. Thank you so much for those kind words! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
I followed your advice and grabbed the P512, slapped the westline and high range in it, although that means a near constant 5 gal/min draw in even slight terrain, its still more than a beast compared to highway trucks, which i honesty feel this thing is
Good choice with the highrange. The other gearboxes will work as well, but its all about your playstyle. It is a lil thirsty. I feel every Westline Engine eats alot of fuel. It has that highway truck feel, but with amazing tires. An AWD upgrade would be a scary thing in that truck for sure.
Been looking to get another medium log truck and I think you’ve just convinced me to get this one. Thanks for this vid and all of your truck review vids. It’s really helped a player like myself who got the game a few months ago.
Thank you! I would be a lil cautious if it’s balance especially with logs on its frame, but that goes with pretty much any vehicle! Glad I could help :)
Great video Nathan! Thanks for the advice. I've found it useful although as you said I run away from thirsty trucks. I recently found the Tayga and although it's thirsty it has a lot of fuel capacity to compensate it and I'm having a great time with it.
Thank you! Same, I'm all about range and effieciency. The Tayga really is a monster and basically is going to make your life easier in most areas. Its one of the best in the game for performance.
Good to see this truck in a video for once. Its one of the most underrated trucks in the game. And as a bonus IT SQUEEEAAAAK
I really dont see this truck on many videos either. For sure underrated. Title shoulda been "The Underrated Squeak" lol
Great stuff NP! I haven't tried many Russian trucks but will be sure to check this one out!
Thanks Scruffy! Its a great truck. The Russian trucks seem to have alot of advantages, but I still love the good Ole North American trucks as well.
This truck rocks! I used to run it with mud tires but, now that I switched to OHD I it just flies through mud. It's super stable now as well.
Adding the OHD1 really helps its balance for sure
Nice Voron video. New viewer & now a subscriber. Keep up the great snowrunner content
Hey thank you so much! Im really glad you enjoy the content!
Good job as usual. Enjoyed the video
Thank you sir!
I used this truck so much because of the flatbed, crane and trailer combo. Versatile is right!
Good choice of truck! Not many people use it because of the other big names, but its really a great vehicle
Yet again great video this is my go to starter truck always does what's asked with very little agro the nature of wait being top heavy is hard to learn but easily negated fuel tank size is an issue but it's less thirsty than both it's brothers if the grad is using AWD and under load but we're talking grads new engine. althought why the fuel tanks are so random and not a upgrade option on this game drive me mental
Thank you! Ya I think the Voron D is really a strong truck. I would love to see it get a rebalance to make it more in line with stability, but all those things are managable kinda like you said
I going to get snowrunner next week and I will ad this one to my fleet
Tysm for the video and congrats on 500 subs🥳
Hey you're Welcome!! Thank you for waiting patiently for this video as well. Really great truck btw! Oh wow i did hit 500! Thats pretty cool! Thank you!!!!!
@@NProvince np
I love this vehicle because it can do everything.
Crane + platform + 4-section trailer = imba
It’s very versatile yes
This is one my favourite trucks.
agreed that as the game progresses, the opportunity to utilize the high range gears becomes rare i find
It really is rare to be able to fully utilize the high range gear box in tougher places. The game has so many super conditions lately
You should make a full leaderboard of all of the trucks you have tested.
Thats a really good idea! I actually will do that, but I have some other reviews I need to add before that to reference.
@@NProvince makes sense. Another idea for a review is the tatra phoenix. It will arrive along with phase 5.
@@technicallyf1394 Oh yes. I am absolutely keen on reviewing both new tatras so that will be on the way for sure! Thank you for those! I'll mention you in the comments as the person who recommended that truck.
@@NProvince thanks.
In customize, go to the suspension and install the polyurethane bushings to stop the squeaking. Thats just what the rubber ones do...they squeak.
LOL Please tell me this is the truth ahahaha
Gotta use your bushes baby
Hey! Its me itsyagoodboy (different name)but i still have my 3996 🏷 tag!!!
Good stuff!
I think the squeak sound is because of the air brake but I don’t know if this is true
It is indeed the overpressure exhaust valve of the air brake. 😁
the squeeke boi is not a con but a feature ;)
I like that! Well put !
i actually thought that this truck's versatility was not good because you said "Versatility that SQUEAKS!" and i wanna change that airbrake sound to another truck ASAP by xmls
Ya that sound throws me off still. Definitely wish I could change it
@@NProvince Just dive in to the XML files of the Voron D53233 and change that brake sound by typing other truck's brake sound.
I love this truck.
But it made me rage quit a Lot because of its stability.
I will try out the twin weels when this helps it will be my favorit Truck.
Its kind of a love hate relationship with this truck.
It is a really good truck. I do believe those OHDs will help add some stability due to width. Just so versatile
Stability problems with this truck are related to the idiotic settings of physical model - mass of chassis is 4000 kg, mass of cabin is 6000 kg.
Which is just stupidity.
I just swapped the values of these two parameters, and now I have a very nice, stable, and well-controlled truck.
From now on, the focus of this truck's problems has shifted to rather high fuel consumption, especially with a decent load 😆
I just started my first taymir gameplay and im very frustrated with this truck because i tip over all the time.
Try using the OFFroad doubles to add stability and use a semi trailer to create angles. This will counterbalance. I explained this on my trailer review actually. Hope this helps
