    MY RATIONAL THOUGHT COMES BACK WHEN I'M WITH OTHERS BUT WHEN ALONE EVEN IF I LIKE TO BE ALONE THE OLD NEGATIVE MINDSET COMES BACK

      I think so too. It's the heaviest challenge when you are alone all day long. The thoughts are the worsest at that time. That's why I am afraid of being alone since I have to deal with TMS syndromes. Iam afraid of my thoughts. But that contributes to the circle of perceiving danger.
      So how to come out of this circle. Because when rational thoughts are not available anymore then you're also not able to think "oh that's only fear, I don't have to trust"

    Somehow got out despite high sensations. Got stuck at red light, anxiety raising. Then a lorry with big red letters on it crossed in front of me. Caught my attention. The name on the Van read SAFEWAYS. Wow. My rational brain was like lol safe ways. I did chuckle. Ended up catching up with that van further along my route. Am going to use that word to myself.

    We don’t have to believe our thinking, and fear is definitely fear behaving like it’s real! don’t buy and do it!

    I keep having pain and numbness in my head. The numbness scares me the most. My doctor won’t do an MRI of my brain as I’ve had one of my neck and have mild degeneration c5, c6 which they aren’t worried about. I know it’s not dangerous but my brain won’t quit telling me I have a brain tumour or something in my head. I believe in TMS/PDP but just can’t turn off the fear and symptoms. Thanks for all your videos Dan appreciate your hard work. ❤

      When you're in that worry bit we don't breathe correctly. That in itself can cause numbness and if your No1 sensation fear is "numbness" amygdalas will hone in.

    Happened to me, first time in a long time. My whole back just has severe pain ALL DAY long. Started in the middle of my chest then I woke the following morning and my middle right side of my back was on fire.
    Took a painkiller and went to bed pissed off. Today, I am taking things easy, focusing on my breath and going back over TMS and breathwork stuff.
    I know I can heal myself because I did it before. No retreat, no surrender.

    Raise my hand 🤚🏻.
    I have a plan written down for these situations. What are the signals, what can I do myself and what can others do to help me when rational thinking left the building? I can’t find it in my brain when I’m there, so I wrote it down. I will add this video to the plan.

    Amygdala takes over, running on warp speed. Do the sigh breath, deep intake then another or half a one, hold for 4, then long out breath for 6/7. Do minimum of 3, see if u can reset.

    Dan, I'm reading Unlearn Your Pain by Dr Schribner and I can't get past the term tissue damage. Doesn't having protruding discs, just degeneration and stenosis constitute tissue damage? Just because some people have these images and no pain does not prove to me that My pain is not coming from these conditions. I've also had some pictures on my hips and wherever I have pain they do find mild arthritis etc so it's hard for me not to believe it's not coming from my body. Any help?
    I say to myself it's just perceived danger pain and then my brain says yeah but...

    • @PainFreeYou
      @PainFreeYou  10 місяців тому

      Perceived danger pain behaves much differently than structural problems. Have you done the pain test and assessment? If your symptoms behave like TMS/PDP, then that's what it is. It can't be structural due to the symptom behavior.
      Assessments are here: IsThisTMS.com
