Thank you Dan for your daily messages. I will get better. I commit to not giving up. I will share this in case anyone finds it helpful. In a pain flare, I imagine the pain as cute creatures having a wild party. They are being so silly they make me smile. Baby steps everyone ❤
A million thank yous wouldn't be enough for your commitment for showing up EVERY DAY with support and encouragement. You are a blessing Dan and my heart is grateful. You are the familiar voice of safety and continuity I need . Many blessings of peace be upon you.
Whatever practice or set of practices we employ to support us as we tackle our challenges, all the teachers, and of course Dan, emphasise that consistency is key. Phil in his rheumatoid and post-covid video says that he meditated and visualised for six months straight, and never missed a day. I think intention alone isn't good enough. Words don't work on their own, it has to be words with action. So good wishes to all making the decision to back up words with deeds. If we don't manage before the end of the month, let's make a firm resolution to begin the year with giving it the best go we can. Say it, and mean it, because anything less won't do it.
@@PainFreeYou Thanks Dan! You know me, I tread the line between medical good sense and a long held belief in our own power to heal. Because I'm a Brit I don't come from a culture where doctors make money out of illness, and working in our healthcare system I know how important it is not to ignore red flag symptoms. On the other hand, I certainly don't think that conventional medicine has every answer, and more and more evidence is surfacing the neuroplasticity is a major key to healing. I'm starting my 'Phil programme' on the 21st - the start of the turning round of the year, the shortest day, and then a slow return to the light. Symbolic or what! x
I’ve been thinking about your story about the turtle and the hare the last few days. Every time I feel a flare up because I’m rushing or I’m in the future in my mind I say to myself: Be a turtle! And I progress slowly and am mindful of my surroundings. Thank you from the Netherlands. Your videos help me a lot.
Hey dan. Ever since my mold exposure and catching covid in 2022 I’ve had a whole list of symptoms that I can’t shift. Palpitations, dizziness, gut issues, reflux, brain fog, fatigue, nausea, twitching, tinnitus, MCAS, frequent peeing, visual halos.. doctors said I’m fine but I don’t feel it! Symptoms flare if I work out hard and there was a point I couldn’t even get out of bed. I’m just now realising it could be connective tissue related EDS related and all I’m seeing online is it’s genetic, incurable, and that I’ll have to live and suffer with it for the rest of my life. I’m only 27 and I NEVER had 90% of what I have now pre mold and Covid. I was a fit young guy working out heavily and now I’m skinny as a rake. I feel so embarrassed when I’m around my friends it’s driven me to t point of insanity. Please tell me I can reverse this with mind body work because I cannot live like this. 😢
I strongly recommend you do NOT diagnose yourself with something that the internet said COULD BE connective issue related. Do you have PROOF that is what is going on? The best suggestion I can offer is to do the assessments to see if your symptoms are behaving like TMS / Perceived Danger symptoms. If yes, then you CAN recover. Doubt and a belief you have some incurable disease is terrifying your brain and keeping it all going. All of your symptoms are common mindbody symptoms caused by a brain perceiving danger. Mornings are always difficult. My thoughts come rushing in with a cascade of, "something is wrong! I gotta fix it! I gotta do this! I gotta do that! I feel unwell! Oh no today is gonna suck!". Those are sort of out of my control at present. It is a conscious decision for me to remain in that spiral of worried thinking, though. Today I choose not to. And I'm getting better and better at choosing not to. Thanks Dan!
Thank you for your videos. I have a very significant phobia and when I was having a panic attack last week I talked to my brain. It actually helped! I said Hey brain, I know you’re perceiving danger, but I know I’m not in danger
Dan Thank you again! I'm more commited then ever. I'm in therapie, but your video's and succes storries are helping the most. And what really helps me the most is my commitment, inner knowing that this will work and my mindset. Love❤
Dan is FND TMS? My Doc suggested it and actually said living my life will get me better. A week ago I have a panic attack and lots of nerve sensations, heavy body as I pushed myself and did 9 hours of panto rehearsal and the show. It was worth it but my brain doesn’t believe. However, each time Ive gotten that panic and sensations since I’ve stayed the course apart from a few days of rest as anyone would after a hugely busy day.
I do believe what doctors call FND is TMS / Perceived Danger Pain/Symptoms. Want some proof? Be your own experiment: ua-cam.com/video/0i5c4zZwjhc/v-deo.html
Hey Dan: I went onto your website and took the pain test (even though I KNOW it's TMS...). I couldn't find the FIT assessment. Can you let me know where that is? Thanks! Patty
I have both TMS and real issues. That's what makes it contradictory. Also living with a sick mother who is extremely toxic and a alcoholic with rage issues. I lost my whole life. All possessions, friends and more. Trying my best everyday.
Hey Dan, how would you go about responding to excessive thirstiness? I know it is TMS because I have a very varied diet and drink lots of fluid in general.
@@kateking3953 Thank you. It's TMS. I've been checked for diabetes many times. Also, had many medical tests done in the past. No medical problems. Just challenging figuring out if I am actually thirsty or not. Because drinking lots of water is good but also being thirsty all the time is silly.
I'm following Phil's programme of a Dispenza meditation and some visualisation every day without fail. And being fully aware of my thoughts and what I say. xx

Is unnatural weight gain part of recovery from TMS?
Too many factors to weight gain to answer.

Also get checked for diabetes. It does present as extreme thirst. It probably isn't, but good to get checked out.
