These are really terrific ideas, Emily, love all the possibilities!! I just watched one video of your boys, it's truly precious!! Embrace all these times, they grow up way too quickly. Emily, for the buttercream flowers, did you make your 4 min buttercream a lot thicker to hold the shapes?

Hi! I didn't but my house is quite cold so my buttercream stays fairly stiff as I pipe. If you find that it's softening from the warmth of your hands as you pipe you can put the piping bag in the freezer for 1 minute to stiffen it up a bit

I love the video as I have a quick question on the first cake with the hearts I know the chilled but a cream cake first then you put on the wax paper and then you put the frosting on it but my question is do you put the cake back in the refrigerator or freezer before you pull the hearts off of the cake?
