I have been researching Tacomas for a while and I was set on the OffRoad option over the TRD Pro because I thought if I planned to lift the truck to fit 33's I would be throwing away the TRD Pro suspension. You just found the solution I needed! Thanks guys. Excellent video and the truck looks great.

@@88ROTORS Can you provide any info on the front 1" shim you used as well as the 1.5" add-a-leaf in the rear? Any other mods required like extended bumpstops or extended brakelines?
in the last 5 yrs i have purchased 8 new toyota trucks. 4 tacomas and 4 tundras, and a rav limited.........i have a 1794 in the works. today they called me and asked if i want a new tacoma....told them i would think about it......after watching this i'm in the mood for an army green, lifted, 4 x 4, tricked out pro to go along with my new 1794 or maybe a tundra pro, same color and decked out like the tacoma . you know like big brother--little brother.

I'm on the CEMENT hype! The TRD wheels would of gave it a 'NICER" pop. Still don't get why they don't make the PRO in a long bed.....Would look soooooo NICE!
That's the reason they don't make long bed, because it looks...... never mind.......
The TRD Pro is meant to be their top off-roader. Giving it the LB would compromise the break-over angle too much.
Really ? I guess it's a personal taste because I always thought the long bed looked streched for the height of the body and it would be too long of a wheelbase for offroading.
I love the voodoo blue, but that army green has a place in my heart as well .

The army green is dope! I love most of the small upgrades the 2020 has especially apple car play and seat adjustment. I have a similar lift on my 2017 TRD pro by Revtek. I agree with some other comments the new lift and tires look perfect but I would have kept the stock wheels they’re cooler than my 2017 pro wheels
Another great video. I would have kept the factory wheels. After watching all of these Toyota videos everyone within a hundred miles must be running the wheels they put on.

Hello guys. Enjoy the Tacoma videos. When adding the front spacer, like under the TRD Pro when you do the rear leaf and spacer lift, do you have to have a front alignment afterwards? Thanks for your help.
Yes, it's recommended to align the front anytime the height changes.

I have a 2018 TRD Pro. I added a 1.5 add a leaf in the rear and now I think I need to raise the front about .5-1inch. What shim or spacer did you use for the front on this truck? Can you provide a name and part number? I always enjoy your videos. Thanks.
Army green is sick looking but the Voodoo blue is where it's at. Should have waited for the 20's to come out before I bought my pro.

Out of curiosity, why didn’t the owner keep the original wheels, when they are nice? I could not remember if you said the wheels were 16 inch replaced by 17 inch wheels? What I can tell you though, your mechanics did an outstanding job and made that truck even look more monstrous, manly driving trucks. My goal is to get a 2020 army green Toyota Tacoma. Right now I have a 2017 silver long bed Toyota Tacoma.

Truck looks really good, but it needs some rock rails, light bar and tonneau cover! I have an issue with fake feeling leather on the steering wheel and the non functioning hood scoop, come on Toyota?

So why did you cut off the U bolts to add leaf springs? And I hope you got a workers comp for the monkeys lifting 80lbs wheels/tires to shoulder high.

Method wheels are cool but I would of left the trd wheels!! Lift looks great and the black n green are 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Wonder why toyota has not switched to disc brakes out back?

Looks nice as stock already when I get mine I'll just get upgrade wheels. That truck cost so much already getting a lift kit and after market wheels you rather go with trd off road.

33's look pretty good! Watched alot of 35's stuffed in there but I'd like to go as big as possible without having to do alot of support mods like re-gearing & reprogramming shift points & speedo... once I actually have a Tundra that is 😝
Do the small modifications void any warranty? I'm waiting for delivery on my 2020 Pro and upgrading the tires and a small lift (while keeping the Fox suspension) are first on my list.
A lift can not make your engine stall. Larger tires will not stop your windows from rolling up. Warranty can not be voided because of a mod unless the dealer can prove that it’s the direct cause of the problem itself. The chances of your suspension failing because of adding a shim is almost impossible, unless it was installed wrong. If you change out parts to aftermarket, there’s new warranty that the aftermarket parts come with. Hope that answers your question. Thanks!

Owner decided to upsize yo 17” so it’s not the same. But you can run 285/75/16 with this setup and clear completely, when it articulation.

Minor adjustments can be made still.
Every time you change ride height, geometry changes.

You would need a drop bracket for something like that. Wouldn’t recommend it.
