A lot of people saying replace the skimmer just bought a 15 x 33. Any recommendations on a cheap but better filter pump? Those sand filters are expensive almost more than I paid for the pool. I don’t know anything about these things.
All I did was remove the legs and rolled up the liner for next season. Some might leave it up for next season, just leaving the water and just do a winterize of the pool with chemicals.

You can use a smaller one, I used a bigger pump to fully clean the pool

you will need to buy chemicals to keep it clean, with the filter it will make it a lot cleaner.

How many gallons per hour does that filter pump do?
the sand filter does around 3500 gallons per hour

I had put it away for the season as we were moving and that one needed more time to pack up, its coming back up this summer.
