In todays video we replace the throttle body in the slammed suburban. If you are having a rough idle or the idle jumps around this is how to fix it. Some of the trouble codes or diagnostic codes you may get on the 5.3 are p0121 p2119 and p2139. This is a very common problem with the chevy tahoe chevy suburban, gmc yukon and escalade. Sometimes if it gets bad enough the vehicle will not run at all or the engine will stall while driving. The good news is in this video I show you how to replace your throttle body for the codes p0121 p2119 and p2139. These are the codes for a bad throttle position sensor. Sometimes you can take it off and clean it and this will go away. I decided to replace the throttle body on my 5.3L V8 with a new GM Throttle body with Throttle Position sensor. After replacement you will need to relearn the idle which I did with hp tuners. If your service engine light is on for these diagnostic codes you may need a new throttle body.

Tried to search through your videos but what led bulbs are those in the headlights? Has to be the nicest setup I’ve seen in our trucks.

So, if you buy the cable and credits does the program for PC come with it or do you have buy that seperate. Need to change my speedo, turn off AFM on mine. I can get a tuner to do that, but if this is in the same ball park of cost I'd do it for more functionality. I replaced my TB at around 40K under warranty. Again around 50K as well. Issues with the TPS were sited and the cruise stopped working. Everything funcations well, but I've got another 200K on there and I sure it gummed with junk. I a slight rough issue, but no codes. Plugs and wires replaced @ 200 or so.

I know it’s an old video but do I have to pay every time to use on different vehicles? I’d like to see how well it does for the OBD features you were explaining but don’t want to have to pay every new vehicle i connect too
You have to license every vehicle so yes.
Had a 2006 Silverado 2500 that did the same thing... we changed the throttle body and still did it.... but ended up putting dialect grease in the plug and it quit

Could you recommend a good lowering setup for an 04 suburban 2wd? Id like a 4/6 drop.

The rubber piece that goes on the throttle body and gets clamped on, mine is all warped so it doesn't create a good seal at all. Can I buy a new rubber piece? or what's it called please?

@@TWAMotorsports No it's not the gasket cuz I tried using that term but it isn't giving me what I need. one end slides over and clamps onto the air filter side near where the mass airflow sensor is but the side that slips over and clamps to the throttle body is all warped.
