Looks like the paint held up really well! Since you have a pressure washer, I would recommend a foam cannon. You can find them cheap on eBay. I use mine for cleaning everything lol
Awesome fades your paint and decals. The best cleaner to use on the banshee or anything is Simple Green. It cleans as well as Awesome, maybe better, and it leave everything looking shiny and new.
I'm mixed here. I've used both for years. Personally I tend to get better results from Awesome. I do rinse it off fairly quickly though, this might be why I haven't had issues with fading.
@@MichaelSabo i prefer totally awesome as well, it's never let me down on anything. I buy the big jugs and actually dalute it 50/50 with water into the small spray bottle too, still works just as good and lasts forever. Billy Mays was the man😂"but that's not all!!!"
You can used a leaf blower to get most of the water off your quad and then use a towel to get the rest, that’s what I do with my quads and motorcycles when I clean them.
I pulled everything apart and replaced what was needed and did seals in the bottom end and then an entire new top end, billet clutch basket and new clutch.
The price is kind of all over the map; it all depends on the location, condition of the bike, the mods, and if it has a title. But a decent price for a Banshee in decent shape is around 1500-2000 relatively stock. Go over the bike and shake all of the joints, lift the back to check linkage, grab the axle and shake it to test carrier bearings, and of course if you have one, bring a compression checker to see if the cylinders are putting out even pressure. Check seals for leaks, and engine cases for JB weld especially by the front sprocket. This is really just skimming the surface, there are a lot of things to inspect when buying a quad or dirt bike. I hope this helps!
I have a predator 500. It’s a 4 stroke. I liked what you did with your aftermarket intake you have hooked up to your carb. Could I do the same to mine ? Without any adjustments to the carb
Good question; I usually wipe the plastics with a towel to avoid water marks and use an electric leaf blower and compressed air to get in all of the cracks and corners.
Looks like you keep it nice I spray 40 /60 c18 or c20 truck wash through a kero gun on my compressor Spray it all over even on tyres on low pressure Takes 5 mins Then rinse it off with tap spray again low pressure Another 5 mins Comes out like new without even scrubbing or touching it Run it for 5 mins until runs carbs dry And park it the through a king size sheet over it Truck wash in a 40 percent mix get dirt grease and leaves it looking like new all the nooks and tyres and everything comes up all in 10mins Takes longer to wash kero gun out and put the stuff back Im slack but whatever works Im running a 2012 banshee from new and still looks new I do cheat though with full ss bolt kit and some good stuff here and there
Dude this sounds amazing. I've never heard of using truck wash but it sounds like it makes your life a hell of a lot easier haha. Thank you for sharing and 2012, damn man, last year ever. I'd love to have one of those.
Michael Sabo i know formula 21 is pink/purple looking. I just have Honda's fourtrax 650 an a 250. On wheels and engine rear ends etc. U can't beat it. Btw u did an AWSOME job restoring thst banshee. I love the neon green parts. They make other colors pop
What if i just clean on the tip of the exhaust to clean all that Black stuff and stick my finger in there to clean it better ( no homo).. Is that a bad thing to clean that or i shud just leave it like that

I've heard about the foam cannon and I heard it's amazing! If I buy one I'll definitely make a video on it.

I pulled everything apart and replaced what was needed and did seals in the bottom end and then an entire new top end, billet clutch basket and new clutch.

Hey Michael if I wanted to buy a banshee what's the best price to get and what to inspect when you first buy it

do you know if a 87 lt250r is waterproof??
Awesome vid and edits and filming and bike

Jessayess yes just have to get a filter for it can probably get one at advanced
Wouldn't all that water go straight in your engine without a breather box?
When you ride ^
Yes, and it did lol. Had to clear it all out; that's why I'm getting the box so it doesn't happen again.
Nice, good looking Shee.
What about everything rusting?
What do you do after the water sits?
Good question; I usually wipe the plastics with a towel to avoid water marks and use an electric leaf blower and compressed air to get in all of the cracks and corners.
Looks like you keep it nice
I spray 40 /60 c18 or c20 truck wash through a kero gun on my compressor
Spray it all over even on tyres on low pressure
Takes 5 mins
Then rinse it off with tap spray again low pressure
Another 5 mins
Comes out like new without even scrubbing or touching it
Run it for 5 mins until runs carbs dry
And park it the through a king size sheet over it
Truck wash in a 40 percent mix get dirt grease and leaves it looking like new all the nooks and tyres and everything comes up all in 10mins
Takes longer to wash kero gun out and put the stuff back
Im slack but whatever works
Im running a 2012 banshee from new and still looks new
I do cheat though with full ss bolt kit and some good stuff here and there
Dude this sounds amazing. I've never heard of using truck wash but it sounds like it makes your life a hell of a lot easier haha. Thank you for sharing and 2012, damn man, last year ever. I'd love to have one of those.
