I really just feel sorry for him. Tom says shocking things to wake you up as to why you have the problems you have. You can see this guy has a great heart and is probably a wonderful person but his pain is so deep it has completely closed him off to the rest of humanity and made it so he can not see anything other than his pain. We need to show him an extra measure of love!!
