I'm from Myanmar, as you know, Myanmar is so bad situation so I decided to come your country last year, I've been living in your country for two years. But I can't speak in Thai much because l stay with Myanmar people. I just learn with your videos every day. Thank you so much teacher❤❤❤.
Really useful video! Both the colored Thai script and the arrows to indicate the tones are extremely helpful, the best system I have seen so far. You could make a part 2 of this one, or even a series about Thai food.
Thank you, Khun Kanitsa, for such smart organized lessons! Being a teacher myself, I love your way to put text both in Thai and English using different colors very deliberately that helps to understand and remember the information very well! Bravo!👏
Sawadee krub, Teacher. 🙏🏻 I'm in culinary school and this has been my FAVORITE video of yours! 💪🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 #1. I love green curry, but Thais also make "แกงเผ็ด," right Teacher? 🟥 2. I cooked Tom Yum Kha for my final for the semester and because I added "coconut milk" I added "kha" to the name. Right, Teacher? (My chef instructor wanted more coconut milk and more พริก.)🌶️ 🇺🇸🤝🇹🇭
แกงเผ็ด is red curry. I'm not sure if we have Tom Yum Kha 😆, we have Tom Yum or Tom Kha. They are different. Adding coconut milk doesn't always mean it's Tom Yum or Tom Kha. We have 2 types of Tom Yum, clear soup & thick soup (with coconut milk, but the modern version use creamer instead). Kha/ข่า is galangal, Tom Kha is a soup dish with galangal and meat where we usually add coconut milk. I think what you cooked was Tom Kha.
Really good video Pui, nice and simple with most of my favourite dishes on there. I shall sampling most, if not all of them again on my next trip in January.
Your presentation and selection of words/foods to share is wonderful and very helpful. Thank you! You probably know this already, but just in case you haven't heard it, whereas in Thai the sh/ch sound not being a sound that needs to be distinguished when being pronounced, in English this one sound difference can mean a different word (ex. dish vs. ditch). So if you wish to level up your already amazing English skills, you could practice distinguishing between these sounds when you speak. Thank you again for your great content! I hope I can improve my Thai so I can further experience the wonderful warmth from the Thai people while communicating in Thai with them 🤗
I owned a Thai restaurant in the US.. We did not have on our menu: ต้มจืด It looks similar to Vietnam's Phở soup. You missed my two favorite dishes: ยำเนื้อ and ผัดขี้เมา.

Lol... If you say "côw" in falling tone, that is ข้าว/rice in Thai. Those are popular dishes!
Thank you so much teacher.
Really good video Pui, nice and simple with most of my favourite dishes on there. I shall sampling most, if not all of them again on my next trip in January.

Ohhhh I missed ผัดขี้เมา and ผัดฉ่า! How could I miss them haha 🙉
All the dishes look delicious, The only one the ก๋วยเตี๋ยวเรือ seems weird to me that It's made with blood 😖😅
I thought the first letter in soup is obsolete. kaw kon
How to you call in Thai, a sauce that make with Soy sauce, garlic and chilli
We call it น้ำจิ้ม /náam jîim/ in general = dipping sauce
If it’s fish sauce instead of soy sauce, we call it พริกน้ำปลา prík náam pblaa
I hear some people say moo grop. What is the difference between moo tot and moo grop.?
หมูทอด mõo tôt = fried pork (normal pork meat
หมูกรอบ mõo gròb = crispy fried belly pork (or streaky pork)
Hi
🥰😍
You forgot the most important dish which is sticky rice. Kao niu😂
How to tell in thai - only chicken and medium spicy.
Only chicken เอาแต่ไก่
Medium spicy เผ็ดกลางๆ
What about pork bone soup?
You meant เล้ง/léng ? The pork bone soup in spicy soup with a lot of green chillis? We call เล้ง or ต้มแซ่บเล้ง
@@letslearnthai Yes that one
@@letslearnthai So I can say (tom leng yam?)
@@letslearnthai Or (Tom leng moo yam)?
