Dear friends,
We would like to sincerely thank you for listening to our music!
Here are the Lyrics of Baghdad-
During summer nights, Baghdad is raising, sleeping on the rooftops
Delicate sounds of night, heavy breaths, quiet whispers
Between the rooftops, snake streets, twist and sigh
Into the twilight, gate where the nights turn into days
If you'd like to listen to more of our music and support us-

Salam alykum Habibibti Ensemble
Merhaba shukran danke

This is a mixture of Iraqi Jewish music and klezmer. I bet you would also like klezmer a lot
Dear friends, I think there is no good or bad music. The music touches the intimate fibers or is indifferent. Yours reaches the soul of those who listen to it.
Music is above languages, races or religions and should serve as a universal message.

The violin solo for the first 3 minutes was breathtakingly soulful....it resonated with the Indian carnatic clasical format
Entire song is just stunningly beautiful. But my god the violin at the start. Absolutely divine
The most beautiful music. I am 100 % Dutch/Netherlands .Since I was a kid I love Arabian culture , music , clothes , furniture everything. Than I discovered belly dance. Bellydance changed my life completely ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I am older now , but still listening to Oriental music , cassettes , video s and c d s My attraction to Oriental World is never gone. This music on the video giving me a real Home feeling. In my heart. Thanks for sharing 🇳🇱💖👩🏼🦰
For the belly dancing, listen to the music of Omar khorshid, the guitarist from Egypt. His music are really good one and classic for the belly dancing 🎶
@@bahez761 Thanks , dancing is not possible anymore , only in my dreams . But the music is fascinating. And I kept all my costumes ! Great exercise too! My Egyptian husband showed me the male counterpart dance that often accompanies the belly dancer. Wish we had more of that in social media. The male dance is meant to highlight what the female is doing with her moves. Very sensual.
The violin in the intro killed me. Good on you guys very well done.

@@montevideofilms1723 I would rather say that it has similarities with Moldavian than with Jewish music. Although ... I would ask the Portuguese and Russians what they think about it. 😉👍🏻
Royalties do :)
@warrior4serbia all things in the world have similarities. Even the songs of your enemies, my serbian Pal Wink wink.
But claiming this came from you or that originated from you is just typical superiorism of WE were the first to invent such and such! Every nationalistic country claims to be the first to make things. There is no such thing as "first" everyone learns from others, humans learn from animals and expand on their work. The same is true with humans. We expand on eachothers work. Besides, we are all related in this world. We all share some type of dna with others. We live on one planet, not a hard concept to understand that there are many similarities between different cultures, but for some reason to people of different cultures are like alienating
Every time I listen to you, I am blown away again. I'm a 70-year-old American grandma and love your music!

doux murmures...
Entre les terrasses des maisons,
des ruelles en serpentin
comme des méandres,
soupirent vers l'horizon :
c'est le portail de la nuit
ouvrant sur le jour.

Your comment is a little poem.
Im a former metalhead and punk rock drummer. Then i drifted into rap and had a own small label. Afterwards i got into afro beats and playing djembe, which lead me to afro cuban music and congas, i still play. But nowadays i play congas in a gypsy/ kletzmer band that tends towards oriental stuff with darbuka solos. Our intern developpment and the tour we just made with several gigs around the balkan finally brought me to this tune! What a journey!
Thats why we all love music so much 😍 its a universal language. Beyond all man- made borders and frontiers, it touches you. Its the language of souls 😍😍
Iraqi from canada. I salut you. Nice music . I was born in baghdad .
I mostly only listen to Western styles of cultural music as I’m from the USA but middle eastern music is so incredible. I love how in middle eastern styles the singer’s voice is more guttural. Sometimes her voice almost becomes an instrument when they all make a chord. The voice just is lost in a sea of noise and it’s great. Also this sounds very similar to a jazz session to me which I’m a big fan of obviously. Keep up the good work this sounds beautiful. Love from America
You should listen to Algerians songs too

They aren't fighting us for land, their fighting us to take our lives. If they wanted land they'd take one of the millions of offers we made.
