Andy Dalton's excitement told me that they've already informed him he's the starter for the rest of the year. This long in the league, he would have "thats just the job" it when he was asked. Andy is ready to roll with this team, and i think the entirety of the executive office is giving him the reigns. Bryce will be moved before the deadline. If we're lucky, we could maybe get sam Howell from Seattle for Bryce. In not saying he's the future, but he plays fearless and this team needs a qb like that
Canales and Dalton are now giving Young the actual training he deserved last season. He's still a very very gifted QB. Now Canales has him broken and can build him back into a properly trained QB. No needs to trade him. Starter or not, he will become the prototype in terms of technicals and stuff beyond physical. I believe we will see a drastic improvement next time Bryce is in a game. Assuming Dalton stays healthy for 6 weeks or longer. This all depends on Bryce putting in the work at every practice and truly pushing himself out of bad habits and only child coddling. Think about it...last year Bryce got broken down like an army recruit in boot camp, now he gets rebuilt like our sons and daughters in the Army. He will be fine.

You trade Bryce this early into year two, they will seriously have issues with future high draft picks sitting out versus coming to Carolina. Bryce has skill obviously, sit him for a few games and let him come back in later this year.

So the idea is to trade Bryce for what? A fourth rounder? Who probably won't make the team? So you are suggesting the Panthers trade one 1st round, the number 1 pick, a number 1 receiver (who was also a 1st round pick) and a 2nd round pick for the chance to cut a player next year
There isn’t a single team that would give up even a 6th round pick for him. Why would they? Why commit to paying the rest of that rookie deal when the guy has literally shown NOTHING. He’s not an NFL caliber starting QB plain and simple. Eventually the excuses run out. When a cooked Andy Dalton who’s YEARS past his prime ends up looking SIGNIFICANTLY better with the same roster, owner, coaches, and OC then what?
