Just for ease of finding the second video, you should include a link to it in your video comments. Thank you for all of these great video's I am so excited to have stumbled into these while surfing the web :)
Incredible. So glad I found this. Gonna try it soon. Although, I have to wonder how many of the 219,107 hits this video has were from AFTER the Avengers.
Doner Kebap is closer to the Greek Gyros. I lived in Turkey and Germany and just loved the Turkish and Greek food. Turks and Greeks seem to get along fine in Germany for some reason...anyway..The Shawarma is a little different and very good. I had with cold onions and tomatoes on flat bread in London many years ago...dripped some oil/juice on my shirt, trousers and shoe that NEVER came out. But it was worth it!
can I ask you question if I'll make it for a birthday party you think it is ok? Or it is just good to eat with family. I asked you because there is birthday soon of my friend and i would like to make something and it is surprise party and me and my friend is cooking for him.
@dedemed you really should u dont know what ur missing, its probably really unhealthy lol but so so good, im not if tha is the exact spelling but thats how its pronouced, and im not sure if its made all throughout the middle east cos i've only had them in bahrain
Oh God! Im craving for shawarma!!!! I miss the authentic shawarma that I used to eat in a persian restaurant way back in my home town. :( I used to eat shawarma and keema with eggplant! dang that's so good! :) I usually put a splash of hot sauce! :))
the best hot/chili sauce to use on a shawarma is crystal hot sauce, its what every shawarma place in bahrain uses, always used to think it was arabic but its actually american, its cheap and is way better than tobasco if you can get hold of it i highly recomend
also i'm going to powder it using majority of the whole spices so how much of each am i going to need? ginger and all spice will be powdered and the rest whole. and the green cardamon, do i use the shell as well or just the seeds? thanks.
i want to make 7 spice... can i substitute nutmeg for something? or just leave it out altogether cuz i cant have nutmeg/mace... also I've never heard of 'all spice'... is that just one spice on its own?
Hello! u said that if we have a stand up roaster you could show us how to make it, could you? :D jhahaha i have one and im in mexico and want to try em!
In the video, you mentioned salt mixture (at 1:00) to the parsley and onion mixture. What else was in the salt or, did you mean to say, "add salt to mixture?" Anyway, your schwarma recipe looks FANTASTIC! I will be making it for my church congregation. THEY ARE IN FOR SUCH A TREAT!!!!
Damn.... this girl is my dream: Arabian and good at cook!!!! I wonder if sicilians get along with arabs though... probably yes, becaus we're half arabic too...
honey, you're right... like i said, we are closer than you think. Sicily as a very big arabic influence...you should read something about the real sicilian cousine, wich is not what u eat in most of the italian restaurants in america!Look for the Cassata(quasat)and the trapanese cous cous on the web

What are the ingredients of the seven spices? Is that similar to the 5 spices of the Chinese?
