Honestly probably unpopular opinion, but I'm relatively new to 40k all things considered and the Tau are probably one of my favorite factions. I like the idea that they utilize auxiliary forces from other alien species that they've vassalized to fight alongside them. Plus I dig their designs, it stands out in a good way for me among the other factions. Although I can see how they wouldn't be someone's cup of tea
I've always thought that the basic Fire Warrior models look fantastic in design, and have been bummed out that almost all the focus is on the mechsuits.
It feels like if the Tau had an empire the scale of humanity and somehow managed to keep as well a grip on it as they do now, most problems in the galaxy would be solved. The way there wouldn't be worth it and they probably wouldn't be able to handle that scale either, but still.
@@LordCrate-du8zm The actual answer to your question is that many of their vehicles are named after fish or other marine animals. I agree with you that they aren't fish, but the joke about them being fish comes from that.
Let the unenlightened species make war in the name of personal reward and fleeting glory if they will; such needs only reveal in them the lack of a greater purpose. It is we who shall enlighten them.
Now I KNOW that they think Melee is barbaric...but when every other faction can still effectively fight melee and having some means to get right in your face, having a few Battlesuits with Plasma swords blunting them from your firing line might be ok. So please...SOME chunkier Battlesuits with Plasma Katanas please?
Its funny how this video just forgot about the Monat when talking about the Tau's combat philosophies. Then you see that the Tau have all of these cool non-battlesuit vehicles, but there isn't a detachment dedicated to them like the battlesuits.
They make up a large majority of the art that exists of bathing suits. Or rather red battles suits were just a really common and then changed to be the enclave later on .
They hit... it's mostly nerfs... breacher bomb is up 30 points. Riptides are up 15 points. Farsight is up to 105. Broadsides are 110 a piece! Tetras, fw riptide variants are gone.
Tau would’ve been cooler if they had energy blades on their Mechs that they could use to dive down and cleave through enemy units. I am not a fan of their play style because it’s either the enemy player is not gonna have fun or the Tau player isn’t gonna have fun.

@@archaoneverchosen5110 i definitely agree.
They look so cool IMO, I love their battlesuits
Can we please get models for the other xenos in the Empire?
“For the Greater Good”, well that and 80’s anime looking battlesuits.
An official Tau piece that actually fully acknowledges the Auxiliary races? Is it Christmas??
I thought it said "New Unit" at first, and got excited.
I expected a Vespid renovation spoiler
Same 😂😂
If only the "AI controlled drones" were still a playable unit, just removed the tactical drones from the app as a unit
I've always thought that the basic Fire Warrior models look fantastic in design, and have been bummed out that almost all the focus is on the mechsuits.
i 10000% agree, i loove tau infantry and aircraft and honestly could care less for the anime mech suits lol
“for the great are good”
“ what does that mean, the greater good?”
“ the great good”
“Shut it!”
Cool...would be nice if you can add more T'au auxiliaries!
I like their giant laser cannons mounted on giant robots.
So kind of the Kroot to allow the Tau to have so much screen time in their faction video. We all know who the real stars of the show are here
Always thought that it is sad the Taus have "numerous races" they can fight with and in game we just have two of them 🙄

For the greater fish
Feeesh
They are Ungulates not fish
These are blue bovine aliens from a desert planet. What about them says “we’re fish”
The hooves i guess... idk, some people can't think for themselves so they just follow the memes@@LordCrate-du8zm

es raro que los de Warhammer nada hablen mas de los auxiliares ya que son tantos y podriam asi aumentar su lore
stop removing imperial armor units, they're cool
I'm new to 40k and killteam & Tau are by far my favorite faction in the game.

I do like a good V01104 Faction Focus Tau Empire.

they had exactly one (1) guy who worked out the effectiveness of using his mechsuit to wield a big sword, and now he's public enemy number one
* *Cries in no melee combat* *
Kroot, Aunshi and Farsight. Meh, I go to the orkz
You do have the kroot now.
Farsight?
Sings the song "That's what friends (Kroot) are for"🎶
@@juliocruz7X6 crisis melee and kroot melee is different
Kroot + Tau armor + fusion swords
They get their barbarian melee
W tau

For the greater good!!
Cool . New tyberos mini when?
Love these videos
Let me guess next faction focus, the Chaos Space Marines.
I hope we will get new Emperor's Children codex with Fulgrim as a returning primarch.
Are Tau the best army for pure shooting ?
Those faction focus videos are awesome ! Love the narration mixed the illustrations and the animations !
Purge the Alien. Burn the Xenos. The galaxy is the rightful domain of the Human.
Is it just me or does the Farsight Enclaves show up in this video with suspicious frequency?
I just got into Tau (and 40k in general) and decided to paint my army up in the Farsight Enclave colors, so I'm happy to see them get some of love
They make up a large majority of the art that exists of bathing suits.

Nah, not weird.
People love the Enclaves.
my friend already received the codex like almost a month ago, just waiting for their new points to drop...

Is it weird that I'd want to paint these guys up in Helldivers colors?
Love it! 🙌🙌
Sounds like Tobey Longworth
All that tech and still have a base bs of 4.
FOR THE GREATER GOOD!!! and PECH!
Aah my favorite boys
For the Greater good!
For the Greater Good!!!
What in the heresy
Not an empire
I’ve just been listening to the Gaunts Ghost series, so hearing this guy got me confused for a minute!
Love it
Every single one of these faction focuses have been absolutely incredible, can’t wait to see what’s in store for the CSM one
T'au Empire vs Ulramarines for the ultimate Warhammer 40k Mary Sue contest.
Make Imperial Guard next
Probs Chaos tbh.
Another share and save. You guys are hitting out of the park.
The tau empire is also onhuman, alien and your enemy.
V01104 right?
For Democracy-
I mean,
The Greater Good!
I love Toby Longworth voicework nice pick
For the greater - sit in deployment zone
For the greater Eeeviiiiilll!
Thanks for subtitles!
Tau my beloved ❤❤
The Greater Good is coming to you from my bolter alien
They're nerds... Exclusing the Enclave. I may make a Farsight army as they are very cool
Farsight's a mensch, but don't forget Shadowsun and poor old Aun'shi. All poignant reminders of what the Tau should have been.
Tau would’ve been cooler if they had energy blades on their Mechs that they could use to dive down and cleave through enemy units. I am not a fan of their play style because it’s either the enemy player is not gonna have fun or the Tau player isn’t gonna have fun.
When playing with plastic army men, be sure not to tie "fun" to winning too much 😚
Isn’t that what the Kroot are now for?
I'm pretty sure thats an option to run with on the tabletop.
Or do you mean energy blades as an aesthetic on the models?
