I suffered a lot with a HD4550 for around two years, before I upgraded to HD7770, which ended my nightmares. I feel like I'll have to upgrade next year, since the HD7770 has outdated drivers, which makes new games unplayable.
I remember having this card in a c2quad hp pavilion that was given to me as a present a few years ago, and I daily drove that pc for about a year. I still remember playing BeamNG at the absolute lowest settings with like three fps lol, and I somehow enjoyed playing it. Totally worth it. (Also, my modern-ish celeron n2840 laptop's bay trail igpu is somehow slower than this. Just saying.)
a quick fun fact: the Celeron N series is almost like a rebrand of the Atom series, with very low tdp and horrible performance... I know someone with a Celeron N3060 of which performs a lot worse than my i3 4005U, which's 2 years older, both using their respective iGPU (which seems to be the main weakpoint)
It's basically an integrated GPU slapped on a PCI-E card. They were quite amazing for their time and price segment. The "competition" in the on-board GPU market was Intel GMA, and it had far inferior performance.
I just got a 4350 complete in box for 30cent. Mostly for nostalgia as I had this card in my main PC for some time as my 4870 died and I had no money and also decided to play mostly on Xbox 360. Eventually I got a 5670 and it was a massive improvement despite being a very cheap card. It made the 5670 feel like a beast by comparison.
Those cards are so old that they are almost rising in price again because they become rare I played with a RX 250X a decade ago and its VRAM died eventually. Im glad i dont have to sit on my 1050 ti anymore cuz recently my favorite online games raised minimum specs But i could probably survive on one
I have the PCI (not PCIe) version of this card in my collection. If i remember correctly it is implemented as a PCI to PCIe 1x bridge and GPUz reports a PCIe 1x HD 4350. Performances are surprising for a PCI card and HL2 and Crysis ran at playable framerates (but still a bit lower than in your tests). Interesting video !
I have the mobile version of this gpu ATI mobility hd4330 but I can’t get half this fps on video because the cpu with this gpu is core 2 solo su3500 clocked at 1.4ghz and one core:)
yep had one in the tv pc couldnt play jucied 2 very well at all well it was fine apart from 1 part of the race track i t would fps dropped to less than 1 fps for a split second by that time you had crashed into the wall lol

I have two of these, I still use them to troubleshoot PCs

I have a 5450 on a shelf with same asus design, it's basically this card, but with lower tech process and 1gb of ddr2.

Still have Club3d 4350 1gb passive.
This is a true challenge to make it work omg

can you tell me score core 2duo 4.1ghz in cpuz single core and multicore number:)
Thanks for the review. I'll make sure not to buy this card when it releases here. It's not even future proof. 😂
At 0:30, Nah! Still beats the hell out of the Radeon 3000 iGPU I was using till late 2018 :-)

Jesus loves you!
i remember crossfiring hd4200 igpu with hd3450.. for a less then stellar performance in Inbred crossfire.. i mean hybrid..crossfire..
I have something a little bit better, Radeon HD 4650 and 4670.
