The annoying part about it is that alot of these 1 of 1 brand new cars are still currently rotting in the Sultans old garage, although luckily there are some who try to save them.
With all these things surrounding it. And even a team and company doing a splendid freakin stunning job. I wish i could say as much about the as for them. But it's just haunting. Don't care who owned it or what color you slap on this thing. I just know i will remember it 😅
I lived in Brunei for 8 years ago. That interior is instantly recognisable and very similar to the rooms in the Empire Hotel - another of Jeffrey’s creations.
Jeering is the son who pissed away too much of the money on pointless things, I remember he ordered a custom airbus a 340 I think it was, with gold interior, and was not able to take ownership as the sultan intervened, smacked him down for spending on bling
The design of these SZ Bentleys is aging really well. Whereas back in the '90s they were not especially loved or appreciated, as time goes on there is a new respect for their formal/upright and handsome appearance.
Thanks for a video of this unicorn. One annoyance: The video contains minimal footage of the interior. Where it’s shown, it’s just for 1-2 seconds but heavily cropped. I don’t know what the rear seat divider looks like. A few basic pans of panning shots of the dashboard, front seats and second row would have been nice.
Although I hate such wacky interior colours on cars but something about this Bentley, it just somehow makes sense. Always loved a cool wagon, I think fast wagons are the best kind of cars there is, supercar performance, handling of a saloon with the practicality of a pick up truck all in one.
First of all, thanks for sharing this one of a kind beauty with us. Second, I usually would hate something this garish, but that blue and yellow interior is exquisitely tasteless - I'd drive it proudly. Any idea of the current value of this car?
Did you purchase this bentley from the Sultan's car auction in Brunei? Any idea if there is going to be another auction? I would love to buy one or two cars if there were to be another auction from the Sultan himself. Thank You
I wish you could come to Dallas, Texas and do this type of quality and detail on my 1997 Bentley Turbo R. Fantastic, first class video. If you ever have a chance to drive a Bentley Turbo R, you won’t regret it…Torque, quality, Torque, superior build quality and Torque. Sorry BMW, Mercedes, Audi fans…a class no matter how hard you try you’ll never arrive.
The exterior blue colour is achingly lovely. The choice of colours for the interior is well, not to my particular taste, but I'm sure Prince Jefrey liked it ! Great to see a car for the "Uber-rich".......
Now i know why i always loved and still do estate cars. There is an estate version of the S Class Mercedes from an earlier model that looks and works perfectly, better looking and bigger than the usual E Class estate.
Doug Demuro is on record saying he would "kill for one of these". so you better ramp up your security before he hears about this, at minimum he will fly over from california and start banging on your door now
Hey, tip to get ten times the views: tell the story from the second half on top of the footage from the first half. The video will be half as long, but go way way more viral and have higher retention. Bless
Would love this today, make over would be sage green met ( Aston ) & toffee leather with the odd hint of Harris tweed knocking around the interior. Lovely 👍🏆🇬🇧
I actually saw another one of the cars from the collection (a Ferrari Venice) actually can’t believe one of these Bentley wagons are also in public hands
That’s a known common/normal issue on Boeing 787 dreamliner especially on wings, this is due to the composite material used and with exposure of UV contributing to the paint peeling.
Jefri bolkiah was literally wrong for using brunei’s money but he built empire hotel that is rated 5 star! He bought a rare car that is impossible to buy it nowadays, he is literally my idol.. Without having empire hotel im not sure what brunei will be

AWESOME! Thank you for your work and knowledge! already knew stuff about the Sultan and his brother and their crazy tastes and now left to waste cars. So sad they cant all be saved but hey, here is one!
These “shooting” cars are always termed shooting brakes, which is incorrect, These were used for breaks from shooting, The word brakes refers to the mechanical stopping hardware.
This is a stationwagon / estate not a shooting brake. It is derived from a 4 door saloon. A shooting brake is a conversion from a 2 door coupe. volkswagen and Mercedes recently started using the term for their stationwagons (Arteaon and CLA) but it is still wrongly used.
I would love to get a closer look at one of the AMG S 73 T's that the sultan of Brunei is supposed to have had. Those are about as rare as that Bentley.
Such an amazing car. Im sure bentley would have had local customers that would have loved this. Nothing like following a range rover off road in such a luxury car. That interior is hideous though.
i think I would call it a Station Wagon or Estate Car as it is not convenient to shoot from this car. You pick guests up from the railway "Station" and take them to the "Estate". Not overly keen on the yellow -I think a buttermilk colour would be my choice for the inserts.
When the Sultan ordered a totally custom bespoke vehicle from a manufacturer (rollsroyce is his favorite mnftr and/or Ferrari he would order several each one in a different color btw This 4wd system is INSANE hydraulicmotorsdriving the front wheels

It really is a very cool Bentley. I wanted to rag on it for probably running like crap an leaking all kids of fluid but who knows maybe its in tip top shape .. either way its badass looking .
A lot of people neglect these cars. If you buy one well sorted, they are better than anything new today. I’m on my 10th Bentley Turbo R. People just want the “bling” then, they run them into the ground and people exploit them all over the Internet for it. If you drive an excellent example of one….no matter what year it is…it won’t disappoint you.
great video but not quite correct, it was just before Rolls Royce & Bentely started doing lots of work with Brunei. These cars were not actually converted by Rolls Royce & Bentley, they were built by a company in weybridge, i believe, who probably bought 11 Turbo Rs from various dealerships and converted them
Just the fact somebody had the idea to make it 4 wheel drive, and then a team of engineers made it happen for just 11 cars is wild.
It’s crazy isn’t it

Some of the most unusual and rare cars do not have to be typical supercar breed. This is just a unique piece of history
Hope you like it!
I worked at Mulliner Park Ward ( Rolls Royce Coachbuilding) when they were doing Brunei cars . £1m each at the time . He kept the company afloat .
I bet you saw some fascinating things
A little too moneyed and dictatorial for me, but pretty visionary to this credit.
He was 50% and of the orders of I’m not mistaken

This was certainly worth showcasing on You Tube. What a fantastic piece of history.

Almost unheard of to see a Brunei Bentley outside of the Brunei collection, let alone in this level of detail. Amazing!
I lived in Brunei for 8 years ago. That interior is instantly recognisable and very similar to the rooms in the Empire Hotel - another of Jeffrey’s creations.
Great knowledge
Thanks for the info. It's hideous. That dark wood, against lemon yellow is absolutely atrocious. Money certainly doesn't buy taste.

First of all, thanks for sharing this one of a kind beauty with us. Second, I usually would hate something this garish, but that blue and yellow interior is exquisitely tasteless - I'd drive it proudly. Any idea of the current value of this car?
If I was spending more money than what a McLaren F1 would cost, I would expect it not to look like an Austin Allegro estate.
This was one of the most interesting car detailing videos on UA-cam,that I've ever seen.
Thank you!
Thank you for NOT showing us around the car, I wouldn't have miss it for anything!
I even like the color. Love a cool wagon.
Thanks for watching!
I would give my right nut to own that car, it's a magnificent piece of craftsmanship, just amazing to see one at all, Rj in Oz

Looks like an oversized Lada Riva estate.
I love it.
Lovely car and a great job. Though, I wish the car had a Magnolia coloured interior.
Great content and presentation. Glad i found this channel. 😊

There appeared to be a trunk behind the rear seats, did this house mechanical equipment or fridge/gun store?
Believe it’s a sound system!
Great work - but I would have thought the wheels would be removed so they can be cleaned inside properly and also the wheel arches and suspension etc.
This is done in our Level 4 detail
Whats used for the trim restoration? Is it a product you sell?
That is a gorgeous blue color
Thanks!
A Shooting Brake, I believe only applies to a 3 door Estate car.

We’ve seen a Venice too. One lived in London until recently. This is the only Bentley Turbo R Val D’Isere to no longer belong to the BRF
So the conversion was done by Jankel Design, the man that used to run Panther
Love the thunderbirds colour interior ❤
The sultan and his brother kept the motor industry in thy UK in business during the dry years. They ordered many bespoke models of many makes of cars.
Thanks for repeating some of the dialogue in the video for those that missed it when he said exactly that.

There's a grey one of these that lives on Sloane St in Knightsbridge.
That belongs to the Brunei Royal Family still, just at one of their U.K. properties
