Go for rough textured ceramics for the flooring. If there is need to tile the wall as well, u can use vitrified, porcelain or ceramics smooth textured.

What is the difference between grade A and grade B tiles? (I'm a new home buyer, just want to make sure I know the difference for when I go through my final inspection with the builder!)
Thickness and overall tile size may vary. A grade is all packed as exatly same size tiles which gives you much higher finished look in larger spaces/rooms. This selection restriction in measurements can pack pretty different tile sizes and thus create a nightmare during the installation
A grade tiles are perfect in shape and size without any other flaws such as colour/glaze/printing etc are concerned which are uniform. In B grade it's vice versa because there might be some defect in the tiles with respect to size, shape or even thickness. Some time warpage (Slight bend)may also be possible due various manufacturing faults such as quality of raw material or baking (firing)is not perfectly balanced and controlled .
Porcelain tile is by far more durable and longer lasting than marble. The two dont even compare in that matter. While marble provides the exotic look and feel of natural stone and light colored design patterns, it is very susceptible to scratching and staining. Thick porcelain tile durability-wise will long outlive its design market trends just like the much inferior smaller ceramic tiles have done since the 70s and 80s.

Vitrified Tiles are stronger, resistant to scratch and stains. They consist of Glazed Vitrified Tiles, Double Charge vitrified tiles, nano polished vitrified tiles and Full body Vitrified Tiles. They have water absorption less than 0.05% percent.

I like to skip broken pieces of tile on water but I just bought some small hexagonal tiles that I'm going to skip.
