Thanks Kaitlyn. Trying to video and hunt at the same time is not easy. I've been able to get a couple of hog hunts on video but that is about it. When deer hunting most of my footage is just of the deer running around and I have yet to get any footage of me harvesting a big buck. Good luck this season Kaitlyn and a very cool set up. Be safe and I swear I think you were hanging on to a poison ivy covered tree in this video.
Absolutely enjoy watching all your videos Kaitlyn, love your content and appreciate what you do for us, Good luck this season, look forward to more videos!
Thank you so much for sharing. I also try filming my hunts it’s not as easy as people think. Filming as a disabled hunter brings new challenges to hunting but the capturing the memories are so rewarding
So many people say the same to me about being so much stuff but like you said it’s the best lightest option atleast in my opinion…I want to learn self filming…good luck this season!
You're so amazing. You motivate me to get out and self film my hunts. I can't wait to see how your season goes this fall. Been watching you from the beginning. Be safe, good luck, and god bless. I know you'll create some good content this deer season. I can only only hope to have a third of the success you'll have this year.
Enjoy your adventures! I use a kayak tie down for my tree hooks. I tie one overhand knot between the buckle and the three hooks like you have. That way if I drop an end I don’t lose them. I carabiner my pack to the tree on the kayak strap too. Pulling the kayak strap snug is easy and tight. I have access to my pack, food, light, and a camelbak without a lot of movement or noise. Instead of all those sticks look up “one stick” it’s significantly lighter and lesser risk of clanking individual sticks together. I bet they would sponsor you for advertising? That individual platform with 3-4 sticks is duplicated weight and odor. Tuning my bow this week. Best of luck to all archers!!!
So many things. A cool camera with a bracket is an important thing for a professional. Go pro camera shoots the shooter as I understood. A good thing by the way is a wide belt on your back, you need a narrow one 3 times wider and preferably hard as the back of a chair, then you can sleep on a tree. And so everything is OK.
5:30 I agree. I don't see many camera arms out there that really grab my attention by design; if they do grab my attention I see the price and it's usually $160+. It's just too much money for hobbyists like me.
Do you have a link to that carabiner clip that lowers and raises your backpack? I couldn't make out the name you stated. Appreciate the video. Might pick up that GoPro mount as well. Nice set up!!!
Don’t forget you’re allergies can change from year to year and from one extreme to the next and that goes with all allergies including ivy. Some years I don’t get it at all and every so often I get it very easily and from head to toe and have to get a shot. Most years I just get a few blisters. The extreme is my father in law was not allergic to anything and all of a sudden took a few ambulance rides and took three months to figure out what was going on. He became super allergic to literally everything possible. So bad they had to super clean the house of all dust and anything that held and hid dust and could not be around any perfumes or he would have to be rushed to the hospital. Could not go around people and take a risk they might have smell good on. He lost his framing business because he was allergic to saw dust as well which his businesses was very successful and building a lot of homes. After about ten years he could finally start working a little such as a few hours a week with each year getting a tiny bit better. He still has to be very careful and knows when to get away from a area or leave a store or something but a much better quality of life now a days. Anyway thanks for sharing and putting in the work to do and share your videos. It’s so much extra work and time to do so.
Look at all the shit you have in the tree, what happen to just sitting or stand in a stand, shooting a deer and going back home to just tell family and friends not the whole world

By far best time of the year! Cool fresh air, deer rutting and running around, leaves changing colors, Halloween & apple cider / apple cinnamon donuts

Great video kaitlyn
Great video Kaitlyn !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Kaitlyn, great little video. Best of luck to you this deer season. Take care and be safe.

Y’all need to do another Pulaski NY salmon trip so I have a chance to meet my 2 favorite outdoors peeps🤣
Thats a cool bow
Cool idea for repurposing my Ropeman 1 after moving into ATC+distel hitch on tether/rappel rope.
Thanks for the equipment rundown. Amazed at saddle concept as I like being on the ground. Wishing you several gut piles. Harvest safe.
Thx for sharing Kaitlyn. Do you have a rough idea of how long it takes you to get fully set up in the tree?
Great video thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing🔥
omg is that poison oak in that tree?? i would be breaking out big time!!
Switch that hanger to big whitetail dreams hanger. I made one into my action camera mount.
It honestly is a lot. Idk maybe one day I’ll try the saddle because I do go far in the woods but I just can’t see how that’s comfortable
Very nice thank you for sharing
Love to watch all your vids, my daughter is about the same age.........(Thought you were hunting with your Drawing winner??)

Kaitlyn my question is on the deer stand height, do you set up let's say about ten feet height all the time or depending on the line of sight?
How do you get down with one sticking? Same way you go up or do you repel down a rope?
Do you have a link to that carabiner clip that lowers and raises your backpack? I couldn't make out the name you stated. Appreciate the video. Might pick up that GoPro mount as well. Nice set up!!!
All saddle related products I use can be found on tethrdnation.com. That ascender is called the Kong Duck
Thank you!!!@@KaitlynMausOutdoors
Is it really easier to hunt from the saddle over just a smaller light weight hang on or climber. I've never used a saddle just curious?
I use the a6400 and during turkey season i was having occasional issues with the auto focus. Is there focus settings you find that works better?
Her: “I’m gonna move.” Me: “After you set all this up?!?!”
I love how you’re in a tree covered with poison ivy 😂
Hola, tanto tiempo sin ver nada de hunter o caceria antilopes.😊❤💯
I hope you don’t get poison Ivy 😮
Haha I dont!
I was thinking the same thing. Made me itchy just watching the video 😂
