We expended the whole last week in Rochester, after to be in Las Vegas I was so exited with Rochester, actually im, i want to move to Rochester RIGHT NOW! lol. I told to my wife “ see you later honey ! Im going to the woods to see if I can see some deer or Kevin” lol Thanks for your funny videos man, you got 4 likes from my 4 UA-cam accounts
Lol dude i love how you do things way differently than others. Your videos have this classy nyc jazz music with a certain feel and warmth. And you make it look easy. Plus the comedy! Hands down hilarious!!
I don't know why every time I watch small plots I wish he would come out with like a 3-hour video of just that groovy jazzy music. Small Plots with Kevin features music to chill to (or music to chill with) anyway it's in the early "plotting" stage in my head.
I've seen people with camping gear walking around my city .... I've always thinking as people backpacking across the country, not stealth campers. I thought they would stay at some hostels. But, of course a hostels is not always available. Watching these videos certainly give me a new perspective. I don't have the courage do these , so thanks for letting living vicariously through you.
PS I’m the one who goes around and likes everybody’s comments. I really want to see your channel go Boom! You’ve worked hard for this and your videos are Great!!💞⛄️ Just as I wrote this I ran into a man with a stupid comment. Now I understand why everyone doesn’t get a Like Much less a heart ❤️. Good evening. Sweet cooking segment . Perfect amount of beans I'd say. Hope your not getting pelted with snow as they are predicting.. Take care Buddy and see ya next week
Makes me homesick.... lived on the east side the whole time. Pittsford, Herietta, Penfield, Mendon. been to the southside a lot. Will be back again one day to stealth in Powder Mills, and Mendon Ponds....keep these vids coming!!
Nice! I'm a wretched west-sider (grew up in greece and Brockport) i don't actually know the east side too well, but I will say the stealth camping is usually better
Roll that beautiful bean footage. This made me remember these 90's Bush's commercials where his dog is trying to sell off the secret recipe. Classic camp.
That spot reminds me a little bit of mine except for I walk down the "river" to it and, the reason I can walk down it is because it rarely ever is more than a foot deep. So I just put on some water shoes and walk down it for a ways until I get to my spot. There are a few more trees there but the amount of debris on the ground is similar and I have used it, plus some dead trees I have cut down in the area, to start making a bushcraft shelter. I still haven't actually camped there because I'm still building it. The spot is protected by berms too but I'm going to add to them so that it's even more stealthy and so that it's less likely to have a big flood of water wash away what has already been three entire days worth of work to build.
The "muffin" smell is the deliciousness of the High Falls Brewing Co. sending some Cream Ale your way. Glad you're still at it my old friend, and I'm consciously making time to catch up. Stay ahead of me, amigo!
I love the interwebs.. Seeing how our fellow brothers do things.. non of this bs TV crap.. True to life, balls to the wall real. Watching from N.E England 🇬🇧 👌
I enjoyed this episode very much. Loved the spot. Rochester is such a great place for stealth camping along the river and canal. If I had to live in New York, I’d live in Rochester. I camped this past Sunday in 34 degrees. I thought I was going to freeze to death. Already looking forward to the next small plot. Take care.
Thanks joe! Yeah there are a lot of places. I have easy access to the river trail which connects to the canal trail and even the Greenway trail that stretches down almost to Pennsylvania. Trails!

Keep up the great content and great food, tuna creations lol😂. You and Sam bananas are my favourite American camper video people great stuff mate john from Sheffield in England Great Britain
Sam bananas told me in his last video, we were both on stealth last Monday. Your was more exciting than me. After the Slaughterhouse, I chose to do a calm nature camp rhis time. We have plans with stealthcamping alliance to do a simultaneous stralthcamp live with members all over the world stealthcamping at the same time. Would be cool. See you maybe on our December challenge. Announcement is later today. Keep up the good work Kev, liked it a lot!

Can't wait for snow and to see your winter setup. I know what you mean about traffic in the morning. Haha thanks Kristen! Yeah you're (relatively) north of me in Ontario, right? You'll probably see snow a bit before, but it's comin! I sometimes like the traffic din, but other times i hate it haha. Maybe proximity has something to do with it? Or the number of people hitting the rumble strips?
No better content then having an awesome fire going, Kevin. What a scary thing, If a white haired, toothless old man came running at you with a knife. I visualized that one pretty good. Perfect time though, by the campfire. 🔥
Those beans are delicious with potato chips. That's how I usually eat them. You've given me the munchies for those so maybe I'll get some and eat them next time I go building my fort in the bottom of the city wash so long as I feel like the ghetto birds won't detect me. A hint for not being detected when you want a fire is to dig a Dakota fire hole. I'm not sure if the ground there is just too frozen to really dig since that never happens here but, if you can dig one, it keeps the fire mostly below ground and it burns so clean that it doesn't put out smoke except when you're first lighting. I have had several fires at my spot even though it's so close to people that you can hear them walking by. The biggest threat was the police helicopter that flew slowly by a couple of times last time. In any case, you should be able to mask much of the heat signature and light from a fire if you put a pot over it. If you're near enough to the city and people smell a fire, they'll just assume it's someone's fireplace. When I had the ghetto bird fly around, they were already there for something before I arrived but further north at the time, and I was sawing logs and hacking down dead trees with my ax so that may have been what made them curious about what was going on. They still didn't detect me though.
Good ol' Rochester. I have family out there. Why not a stealth camp near the Genesee Cream Ale factory?😄(Lots of photos of my dad and his brothers holding those in 70s and early 80s.)
@@smallplots Yeah, permanently taken I imagine, a sad thought. I noticed the factory is near the City of Rochester which, last I knew, has it's own issues with crime and homelessness. 0:18 it's weird because I live in a city that is both a huge hiking area and a huge homeless population, and also a lot of elderly people with no cars who insist on still doing all their own shopping and carrying multiple bags on the bus. So I personalyl don't bat an eye at anyone carrying a bunch of stuff, but other people who aren't from here are the ones who go "woah what is that person doing with a huge backpack?" uh, maybe they're visiting town for dinner while hiking the famous Arizona Trail that cuts right through our city? Idk just a thought? lmao people are so surprised but carrying a lot of stuff is and should be seen as normal. Idk why people are still weird about it, even in hiking towns. Also when I first got my backpacking backpack, I took it out on a day hike with me with some heavy things in it to practice, and someone asked "oh are you doing some camping?" and I just said "no, I'm practicing carrying this for when I do go camping", so I expect I could use that excuse some places if I had my big pack with me.
