You guys made me laugh when you ate the greens. 🤣 Mustard greens are incredibly bitter. My dad's family is from Louisiana and half of my mom's family is from Arkansas. Both sides say you need to add a little sugar in the mustard greens and they need to be cooked for a while. Preferably with some kind of smoked meat. So I totally understand you and your mom's reaction to eating them, because they can be tough to get through if cooked incorrectly.

yes we have the taro XLB too -- we tried them in din tai fung part 1 video :) I think you're thinking of chun shui tang in taiwan? they have another boba shop chain called TP Tea which is one of my favs in the bay!
