HIII we're back with a TRADER JOE'S VIDEO!! Don't forget to LIKE the video if you enjoy these Trader Joe's videos so I know you wanna see more of them :) Also please let me know your favorite Trader Joe's products in the comments!!👇
@@candacevillegas-giron8560 it’s not seasonal!! I work at a TJ’s in Southern California and we have it year round, I hope you can find it near you soon!
For the Taiwanese green onion pancakes, pan fry them and then get some fresh lettuce wraps (that u would normally use for korean bbq) and some gochujang sauce!! Make a lettuce wrap with piece of the pancake and some gochujang- and lemme tell u… ITS SOOOOO GOOD!!!
i couldn’t agree more when you said the rest of the food in the lunchbox would somehow taste like banana when packed together. i was literally eating my sandwich that was packed w a banana while watching this video and it smelled like banana😅
Taiwanese scallion pancake is our family’s favorite. We buy 3-4 packs at a time. Pan frying on medium heat is the best method to get it to rise and become flaky. We like to dip it in curry or a sweet/sour soy sauce with sesame oil and more fresh chopped scallions. Yummy
The kung poa chicken is amazing! What you do to make it spicier that my friend and I do is you cut up the peppers with scissors before putting them in so you release the spice from the peppers and get some in each bite. Try it out! :)
I definitely prefer the coffee boba vs the tea boba. The tea boba as you said, has no strong tea flavor. Thank you for another yummy video! I think I’ll try some of the foods you mentioned. I definitely love the pork soup dumpling! ❤️
I ate those banana fritters the other day and was shocked at how amazing they were. I don't remember if they were super crispy or not. I did use my air fryer. I'm going to get the fish korma one for my lunch at work.
You have to try the ube and matcha ice cream too! I so wanted to know what you thought of the soup dumplings and green onion pancake since I feel like you are expert at it like you are with boba. Also, I have to say, loving your hair and earrings in this vid! Gorgeous! \(^_^)/
Omg YES! Need to hit up TJ’s ASAP now!!! I’ve been loving everything Asian lately so this video is SO timely!! Something I always get multiple of and keep in my freezer also are the honey walnut shrimp!! Sooo good and the Japanese fried rice has been a go-to for years!! New to your channel, helloooo, and love it already!!🤍
For the kung pao chicken, I like to add a bunch of celery while cooking to round out the meal more. And definitely agree on adding extra chili pepper plus peanuts!
Mann yall might as well add me to the family because I be eating all that, my mom be like "here you go with your international food!" 🙌🏾🤣🤗 it's her fault she open me up to culture shock since 2nd grade, I had all different nationality friends and loved it because it open my eyes to a whole new world of love and food!!
I LOVE the chicken gyoza from TJs. I love the combo of the crispy bottom and the rest of it steamed. I just use a basic soy sauce / rice vinegar combo for sauce.
I haven't watched the whole video yet, but your hair looks so pretty curled! edit: after watching the video, I definitely would want to try those soup dumplings and that black tea boba ice cream!!
Can’t believe how much you’ve grown! I’ve been on your journey ever since your first vid about taking food instagram pictures! I am so happy for you and Bird have your own apartment! Still though you better include mom >:>
Wow! I have been bingeing Trader Joe videos for shopping tips since they just opened one near me. I love Asian food, and you have given me quite a list. 😎 Now I need to find Part One. 😋
Wow said you're going to make a part 2 the Asian food at Trader Joe's lo and behold there she was meaning you so now I can get the rest of the lowdown awesome
Thai banana fritters are omnipresent in the street food scene in Thailand. And yes they're so much better when crispy. And they're cheap too xD Also banana fritter vendors usually use unripe bananas to deep fry because if you use ripe bananas, they will be too mushy and too sweet, maybe that's why they don't have strong banana favor. I like them that way tho, they're unstoppable :D
You should try the chicken soup dumplings too! I eat them once a week. Also- I agree with bird in the comments- an icecream episode from tjs would be fun haha 😊
I'm enjoying your Asian foods from TJoes and Costco series! TJoe's Soup and Steamed dumplings and their mini wontons are Bibigo brand (the ones you've shown at Costco) but smaller size packages! (which is better for my small frig). Maybe you could add some Korean gochujang to the tteokboki for more spice. They sell it as TJoes also, but I heard it's not the thick paste. So best to get that at Hmart or somewhere. It seems like your microwave is also a air fryer setting- cool! I LOVE the Seafood pancakes- normally I air fry them and they're already too oily that method but so tasty. I've seen recipes of how to cook them from scratch batter, but it takes so much oil to pan fry them to such a crispy texture so I prefer these frozen ones (let the manufacturer deal with all that oil cooking)
Heyyyyyy mei mei My mom and my lil sis are OBSESSED with the green pancakes I CANT TELL U HOW OBSESSED- My lil sis can’t go a day without it and she’s 1 year . A DELICIOUS sauce to dip it in is gyoza sauce my mom and lil sis are too obsessed pls try it 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
Waaaa! I wish I got the coffee boba ice cream instead. The black tea one has a strong tea flavor, literally barely any sweetness. It's good and creamy, but I need more sweet. D: If it was a drink order, I'd think someone ordered 25-50% sweetness level.
Love your feed back!! On point! Yeah your right why put a Mexican spice blend on the crunchy Mochiid like to see you try the frozen pasta dishes get your opinion 👍
I love your videos, especially the ones that make you go MmmMm a lot! We have a good amount of Asian grocery stores here in St. Paul, MN (no h-mart) but no idea what brands to look for- what Taiwanese scallion pancakes and dumplings do you recommend?
Hi Meimei Can you try the Portuguese egg tarts? Thank you. I bought the soup dumplings and cha Sui buns last time I went to TJ and will be trying those out tomorrow. Loved all the products you reviewed. I’ll be sure to pick up some of your recommendations up on my next TJ trip.

Not sure if it’s available near you but you should try the TJ’s Japanese style fried rice!! So much better than any other fried rice they have imo
ooo thank you for the tip, i'll be on the look out for it!!
The kimchi and beef fried rice is 🔥!!!
its really good, but it's been missing from my Trader Joes lately, I'm wondering if it's seasonal? I hope its not discontinued.

Boba dumplings
Boba bread
Boba mochi
Boba filled Naan
Boba caramel literally
The earth made out of Boba
On the 15 minutes and 30 seconds part I usually pus cheese and it taste so good with it
Everything look so good
I tried the tea boba ice cream, but I think it tastes more like a thai tea than a black tea. Will be trying the coffee boba ice cream next time!
I think the Thai babana’s batter is better fried than air fried. But the look is very similar to the one we have here in Thailand tho..
