How long will this mower hold up mowing conditions like that every day

I bought a swisher 44 inch rough cut a few years ago and had nothing but problems with it. I want to try to upgrade but I’m skeptical like you. Basically, my swisher does fine on flat ground, (I have about 21 acres), but once I hit uneven ground the belt slips out constantly or burns up. I have done a lot of research on Ventrac front mount but hell, they want 25-30K for those. I’m kinda lost here honestly.

faceious2006 ya I herd some bad things on swishers but I was wondering on the Kunz AceEase how well they hold up and do they have the same problem really can’t find any reviews on them

Shane Nelms Well, I’d say they would be very comparable. To me, what really separates them from a PTO on a tractor is that you can’t raise them up out of a bind. If you have a lot of uneven land like I do you end up pulling it though a lot of dirt because they high center. That is how I have burnt up a lot of belts.

Hi Shane. Thank you for watching our video. Our pull behind rough cut mowers are commercial grade. We have customers that are using our mowers on over 100 acres and we have customers with over 4000 hours on our rough cut mowers. They are built for the long haul.

Hi faceious2006. Thank you for watching our video. Our standard mowers are equipped with 4 tires. This helps a great deal on rough terrain and allows our mowers to follow the contour of the ground much better than a 2 wheel design. For extremely rough irregular terrain we have optional kit called the Floatation Kit. This adds an additional front and rear tire in the center location of the mower. It is an anti-scalp kit and it allows our mowers to mow in areas where other types of mowing equipment would struggle to go. Including PTO tractor type mowers.

What’s that red four wheel steer side by side? I’ve never seen one

I thought coot went out of business years ago. Did somebody else start building them? Is yours 4 wheel steer? Nice machine btw.

The original Coot was build by a different company. I believe it was about 15 years ago that a company here in Illinois started building the Coot 2. The Coot in the video is actually a customers. I'm pretty sure it is 4 wheel steer though.
