Project '49 - Episode 8 Fitting Body Panels To A Freshly Painted Shell

In this episode the freshly painted 1949 split window beetle shell is back from the printshop and it's time for us to get some of the body panels fitted to it. This step really starts making the shell look like a car again but it is also a test for us because some of these parts have never been fitted before. Some of the parts were in a bad way before they were restored and expecting 80 year old bits to just slot straight on was always a bit of an ask!
