Thanks for showing all your beautiful Hoyas.you have introduced me to some new ones that are now on my wish list. I love to propagate my own plants. I find it so rewarding rather than just buying a full grown plant that someone else has grown. I like that you try all methods of propagation and propagate to the plants needs. Keep it up, love you videos.🌞🌿
Jasmins Jungle I went to order from Ted and Dorthy but they have discontinued shipping until the USPS is running better 😢. It sounds like after the election. So sad I was really looking forward to getting some. Guess I will wait. I am sure it’s worth it.
Oh yes, they got really overwhelmed with the order right around when this video came out. And then they had some packages got delayed in the mail. So they told me as well that they won’t ship until after the elections. Hope they resume soon 🤞
Hi Jasmin, So happy to see your cuttings growing roots, especially merdithii. I missed your video because we didn't have the interent for a while. Sorry I'm so old school that I don't know how to leave a sun!!! Hope your new house is going well and you and your plants are settling in.
No worries girl ! Don't worry about the sun. Its always so much fun to read through your comment. Sorry about the late reply. My Meredithi is now putting out new leaves :)
Beautiful collection.. I think I just learnt what type of Hoya I just purchased about a week or so ago, I've been trying to find anything on line about it but now since I just watched your video.. I believe it is a Hoya Sunrise.. Thanks so much for helping me out! 🙂🌱💕

My hoya jennifer (huge leaves like the Germany) had rooting issues similar to your cutting -- finally I tried semi-hydro (using Leca) put the plant in my intensive care terrarium -- and it put on gorgeous roots! One of the leaves that had turned yellow even got green again! Hope this method works for you! Cheers! 💚
I’m glad it’s helpful and at the same time I learn from you guys as well ! I had one subscriber help me figure out how to root Hoya Germany !! Love this community !
Wow Jasmin, all of your Hoya are so beautiful, there are quite a few of them that are on my wish list. Some day I hope to get some of my wish list Hoyas, with all of the crazy going on that will be interesting for sure. I am really looking forward to a house tour with all of your plants in their new home. Thanks so much Jasmin, stay safe and healthy, sending love and lots of hugs, bye for now
Hey Holly !! Good to see your comment ! I’m excited about the tour in the new house as well ! It’s our first house and we are so thankful ! I hope you find your wishlist plants very soon !!
Time stamp: 16:15 , I have that too, cuttings I propagated from my mother-in-law and I thought the same thing, but after doing my own research It's most likely Hoya Carnosa "Snowball" Margin Variegata. Not much photos online but it's very similar. 👍🏼
oooo I see. Thanks for identifying the plant !! I looked up Hoya Carnosa "Snowball" Margin Variegata and some pictures came up that do look like my plant but you are right, not a lot of pictures up there.
Oh my goodness your Hoya collection is amazing!!! Of course I watched it to the end I just starting collecting Hoya and I struggle with propagation but still trying how do you know which substrate to use ? Great video 😊🪴
🌞Absolutely beautiful hoya collection!! The one with the 3 leaves & 1 yellow leaf, you will probably have to cut that 1 leaf off. Maybe you can try soil propagation in a zip loc bag method?
Hey !! Thanks for the 🌞 !! And let me try soil propagation! It has such big leaves, I will need to find big zip loc or may be use a transparent box ! Let’s try that !
Even tho it died and you knew it but, it just hard to let go...how we wish that it will survive .somehow🙂☘️🪴🌿🌱🍀 Love all of them..Hoya Hoya Hoya we adore and love to care for..☘️
Ebsom salts is a inexpensive fertilizer. A teaspoon when you water it. Super thrive are vitamins in liquid form one drop to a gal of water. It helps with stressed plants, and encourages blooms.
Hey Shirley !! Thank you for the tips and pointers! I did buy super thrive and used it once. It smelt bad and now I dread using it again 🙈. But will it a shot !
Ohh :( :( Thats so sad coz its such a pretty plant with lovely veining. I thought I killed it but looks like its not an easy one. Thanks for sharing your experience !
Jasmin how come you have no videos on jasmine plants!!!!!! I'm having trouble with my Indian Jui Jasmine, it keeps dropping leaves and new shoots keep coming but they shrivel up before establishing. The leaves also look a little washed out where you can see dark green veining. But they are getting good fertilizer so it isn't an iron or magnesium thing. Thought maybe too much light but after 3-4 months still no change with lowered light. I think maybe not enough humidity is the only thing since it is low, but my maid of orleans jasmine does great.
Hahhha, I would love to get my hands on a jasmine plant coz they smell so so good !!!! I once tried to buy one but the gardener in that nursery told me that it’s a tricky one and that only experienced gardeners should buy it lol. And so I never did. I hope yours do better soon 😊😊🙏
@@jasminsjungle1129 ah haha. Jasmine arabia(maid of orleans) is often at lowes in the outdoor garden section in big pots and around 10 usd. I've found that one very easy and it blooms very often and strong fresh scent. I've bought a few and repoted them with indoor potting soil.
Gotcha, I moved the cutting to soil based on the experience one subscriber had with soil. And I covered the sides that were sticking out !! Thanks for the tip !
I have my degree in agricultural studies from U of G. Try rooting directly into LECA instead of water then LECA, LECA is a better substrate than water develops stronger roots also for H. Germany if still struggling in soil move it to LECA. I agree with Kat Y you missed the cutting to root

Great video, Jasmin. I love your hoyas. Are water roots same as soil roots? After propagating in water, is it easy to transition to soil? Thanks

For your hoya Germany, I think you’re rooting the wrong part. Try rooting where the cut is, like the end of the part where it sticks out on the sides.

22:30 I think you rooting them two the wrong way upside down
Ahh okay. Both the ends look similar and the end thats in water that more nodes and so I popped that side in !
You should look at the bottom of the leaves, the loop of the stems have to be looking up...that shows the correct growing way of the plant.
