I saw your question in the description. The reason it is the “king” of the forest is because Peach died in the forest and the king of the forest demon, a male, possessed her. That’s basically it.
I started with a plan to write a comment; wrote several paragraphs huh even though the lyrics can be quite off from the song (even then it's like one jarring bit), the vocals are insane, with how quick they change from emotion and tone and the audio glitching. cake screaming really makes this a dark forest cover (certainly top four underrated songs in the mod imo). the lyrics are also completely character being disconnected and that sounds like an insult but I actually love that. there seems to be a theme but looking closer 'lungs hurting please take them out' and 'you built it after you RIPPED IT OUT' contradicts each other and I love that. it feels like there's a story that needs to be put together but just cant. plus with how vague it is you cant even tell if peach is even pretending to be right, it just really fits with the' and CD Peach's lore or lack of. the whole bit about never resting is well done, never being as clear cut as 'i want to rest'. it's very open to interruption even if you meant none of what I just said, which is the best way to write this character imo speaking of, the decision to only display 'The' on it's own is cute, so is the text glitching during the 'NOW HERE I WILL FOREVER LIE' is great and doesn't disrupt reading them plus it's neat audio and subtitle parity

Not sure if you found out yet or not within the 1 month but the reason why they say “king” is because peach is only a “host” to the forest “king” or a spirit that rules the forest. At some point peach gets possessed by the spirit and thus we get how coronation looks.
