Great video and mod! What I do before removing the implements and washers (for deep cleaning, for example), I thread a wire tie or piece of thread, pull out and tie together, that way everything's in order when putting back.
Great idea!! I would have designed it a milimeter (sorry, Euro-bro here) thinner so you could at least keep the knife. Or one other tool of one's choosing.
I've thought of a hammer but where the driver is. So no need to replace the tools. I believe the tool can be improved like putting the adjusting knob more in the middle low part of the handle and have the hex driver more accessible. On a bigger version a file and large knife. There are nice things about the concept.
i didnt know it was possible for me to want a crunch even more now if it had a replaceable blade and a t-shank, that would be my absolutely perfect tool. i wish it had larger outside tools like a blade and serrated like with the other Leatherman tools, then maybe those that i want could be added...
That was so cool! I wish you didn't have to sacrifice the other implements for the hammer. Are you planning to carry the crunch at all with the new part?
@hvacbudget8600 my wife is getting her roxon today thanks to you! It got here sooner than expected. If they could come out with a part like this for the flex companion that'd be great. She really liked the hammer end on her armbar I got her.
Given how popular the crunch is, I wouldn't be surprised if bibury and other similar companies release a "crunch-clone".
@@miltons.2462 That would be awesome!
Wish they would, tried asking a couple manufacturers already, we’ll see how it goes
Mostly there are ways to improve the tool.
And have more variants
Im glad you like it ! Youll have to keep me updated on if use it at all and what ya think down the road

👍🏼very cool design
Clever engineering but not sure if loosing tool is worth it.

as the saying goes, now you can treat everything in life as if it were nails.

@@ryangriffith1500 I may. It's a supercool tool!

@ryangriffith1500 Great idea!
They need a new surge that has a hammer and hex bit like the signal
cool idea
Adding the hammer gives up too many internal tools. Limited use.
the signal hammer is better
The crunch is a secondary tool for me so all the internal tools are redundant and useless therfore i dont mind loosing them at all
Very cool ☺️
Whack-A- Crunch!
