Track is the purest sport, no judges. Don't get into doping. All athletes dope, even tennis players. Track is just so beautiful to watch. It has to be the oldest sport and easy to understand. Distance or.sprints, doesn't matter, its like watching people born to do what they do.
@@lyrics2challenged I feel you, I don't do field events, but I enjoy watching them and I know they aren't watched as much as the 100m or the 200m. Regular people don't appreciate y'all, but we do.

Why is it? Some of these guys are 19-20 years old. Bolt didn’t run 19.19 until later in his career like 24 years old. You should be able to appreciate young upcoming talent if you love the sport. Even if they’re a few years away from being Olympic caliber. That Matt Boling kid in HS ran 9.97 at 18 years old this year, so what it’s slower than 9.58 world record it’s still incredible and indicates that he has potential down the line.
@Ragin_Bulls most of those races high school run aren't legal in the professional world because they have a strong wind tail.. Boling 9.98 had a 4.0 wind tail which ain't close to legal professionally
Alchemist E right! What happened to that hype job basketball player who was supposed to be channeling Zion. Mcclung, or whatever his name was. Didn’t hear about him ALL year. Don’t even think he was a starter in college. All he could do was jump... the rest of his game was gaaaahhhhbage lol

Not gonna lie, I can never front on Louisiana niggas lmao. I remember my friend who grew up there came to Ohio and could give the majority of us runners smoke. Some of the fastest in the state were just barely faster than him. I hope he's doing well now, should be on his senior year of football this summer. (He went back Louisiana).
nah, they score points in meets like this. Individuals run their race and win medals for themselves, as well as scoring for their teams. So I could win first in all my events, and my team still loses the track meet. And vice versa. Track is a weird sport scoring wise. Every event gets scored and totaled for each individual runner. So if I run for ASU in the 200 and I run against another teamate, me and my teammate are competing for the individual medals, but both of us will score a point for our team as well. Pretty much, the more runnera u have placing in the top 5, the better chance u win the meet. Sorry if this is confusing.
