The way your explaining these videos seem a lot clearer and easy to understand than other peoples videos. Well done guys your doing great and are a huge success!!🎣😎
Thank you for the info. I just ordered some carp UK style tackle. This makes easier to put the rig together. Here in the US the stores near me dont carry tackle like this.
I used to think catching a carp was near impossible, I thought you had to have tonnes of expensive gear, and the biggest stocked lake to even get near it, but these guys proved you don’t need much at all, thanks for all the videos guys genuinely very motivational. I’m now watching your old videos because I’ve seen them all 😒
Great vids guys, I have literally started fishing three weeks ago and caught a 9lb 12oz carp second time out with the help of your method feeder vid, many thanks.
Just getting back into fishing after 25 years & you two are the best for advice on how to set up in different ways. Excellent tutorial. Clear & precise. Can’t wait to test these. Thanks
Guys, good job! It’s nice that you also have a tutorial channel but a awesome carp fishing channel. Everything in this video was so clear and I understood every word even tho Iam still quite young! Amazing video, hope to see more❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wow. I have just started fishing about 3 months ago. This video has helped me a lot. Although the price of things. Well done to this channel. Keep up this clear, fantastic work! 🎉🎉
o my god so simple ....thanks a lot bro i just started fishing started float fishing but now i wanna go for something bigger this helped me a lot its so simple....keep it up bro thanks again
Used this set up all my life and never let me down. I see so many rigs these days, are they really better? not a big fan of drop of leads but everywhere wants it now.
Your videos are brilliant! Explained clearly and in detail and what equipment is needed ! A godsend to a new angler like myself I watch all your videos keep doing what your doing, your passion for fishing shines thru your tutorials in the quality and detail that u provide 😊 well done buddy and thank u 😊
Great video and clearly explained. No need to over complicate something that can he done so simply. One tutorial I'd like to see is making a drop shot rig. Tried it last year for the first time. Went 3 times & had nothing. Bit now it's starting to get colder I was going to start trying again. Would be great to have a few tips for this winter going out.
We use none of this rubbish in Australia corn or worm on a unweigheted hook gets scoffed by carp . Then you throw the carp down a wombat hole because carp are a pest
Can I just ask (as someone returning to fishing) that the coated braid hook length is approx 2lbs lighter than you main line? Fishing has got a lot more technical since I last fished 25yrs ago but would love to try this method👍
Thanks for these vids very much appreciated lads I've just got back into fishing and it was your main channel that has inspired me congrats again on the new channel all the best luck for the future kutgw.👍🏻😁
Excellent video and very well delivered for a newbie to understand. Thanks a lot and I am looking forward to the other videos that I have added to my playlist.
Great video really clear and could see everything really well which is an issue with some videos. Also aren't you supposed to strip back enough braid coating so when you tie the knotless know you have a few cm of play to aid hooking.
We've found leaving the end section supple to not really improve the chances of hooking a fish, in fact the angle the line comes out of a wide gape hook with the material still coated is quite good and the hook flips over better. I'm sure both will work though, it's just our preference these days to have it coated. :)
I watch your videos and it’s so helpful and simple but then I watch other videos and people have like all this tube stuff and screws etc and I don’t understand the need for all that stuff when you can just do it like this it’s like people love to make life difficult 😂 thanks for the help my birthday was yesterday so got a lot of new gear and going to try it out with this method hopefully I break my pb as it is only a 10lb 4oz common 😂
Mainly a hardcore river piker me but when close season comes Im thinking of carping. I understand this video fully its just the pop up bit what do you mean to make a break in the line where the shot goes
Hi nice video! I'm trying to find a braided line like yours but no luck. Can you share more details on what should I be searching for or recommend some? Thanks!
Great vid lads, what weight leads would you use for short to medium range(20-30meters) casting on a clear(snagless) lake. Would a 2oz do the job? And should i fish it inline or clip on? Cheers
Quick question, what's the advantages of the lead system he showed here vs just attaching your rig to your main line using a simple swivel attached to both ends with a half blood knot?
So you only uncoat the hooklink for the bait loop and leave the rest of the hooklink coated ? Also can you still use a uncoated braided hooklink instead ? Thanks
Hi am starting up carping. After watching this video I'm gonna try this set up 😊. I have one question will you loose the led every time there's a carp on the line? Thanks for any advice replies. Kind regards. Tom
Our local fishing pool does not allow a fixed weight on the line. The line should have the weight attached before the rig on a swivel so that the line can pay out when the fish bites and takes the rig and bait. I think they do it to try and stop you sinking the rig and bait to the bottom. You then have to be very accurate to get only a small amount of float in the bait.
This lead system is not fish-safe in case of a line break, the fish has meters of line behind itself when te fish swims true branges, the fish can get stuck and injure itself or even die, use a fish friendly system where the fish only has the rig in case of a line break, these are ready to use. in the fish shop I use the pole position safety system of strategy. (Google Translate) Love the videos keep it up👌🏼
So you only uncoat the hooklink for the bait loop and the leave the rest of the hooklink coated? Also can you use a uncoated braided hooklink instead of coated ? Thanks
Morning! Just to pass on a opinion from a beginner, I bought all this setup apart from the make of hook, but that 18lb braid you recommended had no chance of being blood knotted to my hook as the eyelet was way too small. Something a regular fisherman would know but not a newbie! There are so many choices of carp hook out there it's too confusing!
does the braid make it sink? and also do you want the boilie/corn/maggot to float up? or leaving it on the bottom good? im mostly asking for fishing lakes/ponds
Great video! I have just bought some Korda tackle online! I usually float fish but am going to a big specimen lake at the weekend full of carp and want to try this! To save time I have bought a a few pre done Korda rigs! Size 6 and 8. And then purchased the slow sinking fake corn! Along with a selection of swivel lead weights ranging from 1.5oz to 3.5oz and will use this same method! Only Issue is I don’t currently have a bite alarm! I know you guys tend to use these in your videos and I will get one soon! But for this weekend as I am not float fishing I take it this will still work and I will just see the road tip bend and feel the pull?
Hey mate, yeah as your getting into it, you could put a carp rig out on one rod, whilst doing your float fishing on the other rod. You could just slacken off the clutch and pick it up if it screams off, or if the line falls slack. A bite alarm is nice if your fishing multiple rods, or overnight fishing but in the day you can just watch the line or rod tip! :)
I’m going to a local commercial and trying boilies for the first time, there isn’t any weed on the bottom and was just wondering if it is better to let the Boilie to be on the bottom or use a led shot and have it as a pop up
Love your videos as a noobie myself! First time I’ve ever been fishing and used similar rig unsure which lol…I caught 11 pound leather. With this rig could you leave the lead runner a little more loose so the lead can come off incase if snags ??
Hi guys great vids, after being out of carp fishing for a number of years this was a good refresher, can you do a video on the lead end I used to have a running lead on the mainline with a split shot to stop it at the rig end, now a lot of people use lead clips and fixed leads why????? Surely less resistance or the running lead was best???????

Recently got back into fishing after a 7 year break and been watching your vids to learn the basics again thank you
You guys explain everything so clearly and so effectively, thank you so much for the time you take to make these videos!
The way your explaining these videos seem a lot clearer and easy to understand than other peoples videos. Well done guys your doing great and are a huge success!!🎣😎
Simple and easy to follow explanation with a clear demonstration of the technique.
Something that other channels lack.
Guys, loving these videos, that was so clear and well explained, tight lines and thank you :)
Thanks Stuart!
Thank you for the info. I just ordered some carp UK style tackle. This makes easier to put the rig together. Here in the US the stores near me dont carry tackle like this.
Good luck! :)
That was _very_ well explained. You're very clear, you go slow, but you're not full of fluff and you get to the point. You did a great job. Thank you!
No worries dude! :)
I used to think catching a carp was near impossible, I thought you had to have tonnes of expensive gear, and the biggest stocked lake to even get near it, but these guys proved you don’t need much at all, thanks for all the videos guys genuinely very motivational. Shit when I see what they are using it looks like a whole lot of stuff to me. You don't even need that much stuff, but it does look nice.

Really great tutorial helped me start off carping
Normally a coarse/match style angler but slowly coming over to the carp scene.. finally an easy rig to follow!
Cheers man, going carp fishing tomorrow and this made setting up the rig less daunting!
No cap actually works... Two stunning Carp and they are my first ones
I over complicated for yesrs. Went back to basics from this channel and now back liking the fishing
Dude. Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to help me catch a carp
I've just tied this rig, very easy, can't wait to give it a try. Thanks

Do you use this rig regularly now?
Used this set up all my life and never let me down. I see so many rigs these days, are they really better? not a big fan of drop of leads but everywhere wants it now.
I hope you will show us how to make bait like pellet , boillee etc
Another great video. Keeping it simple , thanks 👍🏻
Great video lads! Just getting into specimen fishing and with this time at home I'm going to learn how to tie a few rigs :-)

Thanks for the comment, we'll try and film a drop shot rig some time!
Cheers Alex for the knot tying skills no more buying expensive ready made rigs I’ve had a 30lb common and I couldn’t even tie simple rig lol
Just made my first carp rig ever. I wonder if this works for bream, too. Thanks for the clear and simple tutorial!
Amazing :) You're welcome! All the best with your fishing!
I was thinking about giving up fishing but you made me think no and you are my biggest inspirations
I wanna meet these guys IRL so I can shake their hands and say thanks for all the tips, top lads, great channel.
Hello from Australia🇦🇺. Great video thankyou mate! 👍
We use none of this rubbish in Australia corn or worm on a unweigheted hook gets scoffed by carp . Then you throw the carp down a wombat hole because carp are a pest
Very good, crisp explanation, good job!
Thank you! Glad to hear :)
Where has this video been all my life!

@@fishingtutorials Ok thanks I'm gonna give it a try
Is it possible to use clips to join the rig system to the lead? Does the big loop not compromise strength?
Thank you, I will try to do it !!
Good luck!

what weight of split shot did you use?
NIce and simple. Thanks. How heavy is the small lead ball you use for the pop up rig?
What was the size of the weight you used?

ive never understood the carp rigs and tactics so thanks guys
No problem! Thanks for tuning in :)
Great video graham broughton
Have you ever faced any tangle problems using this rig?
Why don't you use anti tangle sleeves with quick change swivels?
Great video ! Thank you , so simple, explained perfectly.
No worries! Good luck with your fishing!
Thanks bro needed this
No worries!

What a great tutorial 👌
Thanks mate, happy you found it helpful :)
Bro how long for fish to take a bait.....like in our river we haven't fish the carp like your idea..... We have a carp more than 30/40 pound in weight
Can u do this with regular braid and not the coated stuff?
Hey really good video only one little thing most people are using rig putty for pop up instead of these small weights 😉.
Great video! I have just bought some Korda tackle online! I usually float fish but am going to a big specimen lake at the weekend full of carp and want to try this! Hello - is this a running lead clip set up, so if the fish takes the bait the ring swivel will come out the lead clip?
Hi , why you use the coated braid? What are the advantages?
Tiago Alves less tangles pushes rig away from lead when it hits the bottom
Loving your vids! Wishing you both all the very best as always 👍👍💪💪
Do you have to use braid? Places near me dont let you use it.
For years I have been cutting off my boilie stoppers before fiddling with the small piece to put it through the hoop🤣 learn something new everyday.
Thanks for the help
Brilliant video many thanks. Would this rig catch catfish to 50lb?
forgive me I'm a beginner , but what do you do with that now? do you tie it on to mainline? onto another mechanism? if so how? thanks
Than you so mutch i lerned how to tiie a carp rig tomorow im going for mi firt time to fish carp 🐟🐟🐟
Nice. Thanks
I’m going to a local commercial and trying boilies for the first time, there isn’t any weed on the bottom and was just wondering if it is better to let the Boilie to be on the bottom or use a led shot and have it as a pop up

If you mean the tail rubber that goes over the lead clip, yes you can 👍🏻
Can i use feeder instead of weight
Très bonne vidéo, montage universel..
What is the bait or food you used for the hook please answer
Can you do aa tutorial about fishing very weedy lakes best rigs/ approach etc. Would be really appreciated. Thanks

Yep, an inline lead works good too! :)
Please do all about surface fishing and tackle to do with it
