So I have a Triton Kiko, only pumping cold water unless I set it to max HOT settings. as soon as I try to lower the temperature it just starts pumpingcold water again. Any Idea?
Did you fix it, I have exactly the same problem 👍

I have the the Aqualisa lumi 10.5kw electric shower, however the issue I'm having is when I turn the shower on the waters that's coming out is boiling hot no matter what temperature I set it as, and there is hardly no water pressure at the same time also, any ideas what this issue could be please?
could be blockage in heater it could be collapse shower hose blocked head but would require testing to find out.
Just watched this, got a triton opal 2, got in this morning half way through a shower it showed low pressure and switched itself to cold.. now as soon as I turn it on it pumps cold water, if you press the hot it buzzes inside. Heating element 11.7ohm & 12.7ohm and tco tested for continuty fine.. I've opened the unit and turned it on, seems to be sparking at 2 switches on the board.
Am I right in thinking it's knackered?
Do not like sparking , could be relay on the board but it could be borderline low pressure maybe?
It's been in the house since we moved in, I think I'll just replace for the cost.
Incase your curious, this is what it's doing.

@@craigfell6906 Looks like the relays have bad contacts at least but maybe other issues to. Its hard from a distance to troubleshoot sorry. They are easy to replace though.
Hi. We have a Triton Madrid 2 8.5kw shower fitted. It was working perfect but now it blows the fuse every time we try to use the shower on the hottest setting. It works perfect if you use it on mid setting but only if we turn it on from cold to mid. If we go anywhere near the hottest setting the fuse blows. I have checked for leaks inside the shower and under the bath and it all seems dry there. The fuse look pretty new and it was fitted by a qualified electrician about 5 years ago and he also fitted a new shower on the same day. Can you help Thanks.
is it tripping a fuse or circuit breaker or the rcd . as it takes a lot of current to trip fuses and circuit breakers and a small current to trip an rcd. Probably a heater element failure at a guess.
@@cagmito76 Hi. I am not sure but it is popping the fuse where all the other fuse's are downstairs next to the electric meter its only the fuse that says shower that pop's when i push the fuse back up it will stay up unless someone tries to get a shower on max setting and it will blow right away again.
Bad cabling?
Hi bud, I have a t90i... pinging hot and cold.... looking at ur vid...flow valve buggered?
Ta for video
Yeah it could very well be flow / pressure problems , but test all the electric components first.

Mine you can't turn it off on the button
Anyone know of a shower with the same fixing and inlet locations at a t70xr
A lot of them are compatible but if im ever in doubt i phone up Triton they are very helpful.
For like for like i found a t100xr is 100% swappable
Hi all
So got a shower problem and hope someone can help
1) t70xr kept running cold, like it was the TCO, but then came on warm with
power 1 eco now cold and power 2 warm, not hot.
So half the can is dead or maybe a switch fault in the shower.
2) Replaced the shower with a new t100xr, and it works on cold, eco power 1, but on full power 2 it shuts off all flow after about 5 minutes
What are the symptoms of low current caused by gloss crud or a film on pull switch or shower power block wire ends
So old shower now runs warm on half a ca, new one runs on cold setting and eco
Normally I'd say solenoid, but it's only doing it on max
Maybe lack of current damaged the first one and is causing the new one problem
Plug it out and plug it back in
You're deluded if you think that's all that goes wrong with them.
worst video ever
sorry to hear that could you give more details on that so i can try to improve
