Agree 100% with this guy, Uigeadail is the best whisky ive ever tasted and ive tasted many hundreds of different bottles. a close second in my opinion would be the irish Tyrconnell 15yr old Cask Strength whiskey
Well rounded and immensely complex, perhaps one of the finest examples of the changing character of a dram over just a few minutes in the glass. Fresh tobacco, cut leather, earthiness gives way to clean sherry sweetness, dates, raisins and citrus floating just above the prevailing peat-smoke. Wonderful. All a happy family
The 2007 and earlier bottles tended to be very good. More recent bottles are not as impactful, but it's still a good whisky. Now Corry, on the other hand...time to up the game.
Thanks Mickey for the great honesty! so it is first and second refilled bourbon barrel with sherry cask. When I frist tried it I thought it is first fill sherry.
I really love the wonderful Whiskey i just bought a bottle tonight i am enjoying a glass with a Liga Pravda Velvet Rat Cigar a perfect paring. I also love the Ardbeg 10
It's not what it was. Originally it used whisky that had been in sherry casks for 25 years, along with 10-15 year old bourbon casks. Now it's made with 6 - 8 year old whiskys.

Had a glass just a minute ago. A drop of water really opens it up. This and Laga 16 are my absolute favourites.
