These are all such great tips for leading a project team of people who don't report into you. This would definitely motivate the team to be productive and successful and have fun at the same time. Thanks for this video.
very good video. One item about team building, as someone who absolutely hates that stuff (for a number of reasons I won't get into), the one time I can tolerate it is at the end of the week (Thursday afternoon or Friday).
Thanks Adriana, a good refresher as I re-enter the PM-sphere in a large government department. By way of thanks, here's a quote that's not quite inspirational, but definitely fun. :-) “The problem with the world is that the intelligent people are full of doubts, while the stupid ones are full of confidence.” Charles Bukowksi
Great vid! However, the team (all guys) I work with would balk at the teambuilding items, mascot, and quotes. Other than food, how would you go about this with a tough group of guys? Having struggles here!
Don't think of it as a struggle, think of it as an opportunity. I have gotten ex-army and security tough guys to do some of my fun team building exercises like the poncho exercise. Do smaller ones first that get people warmed up to it and then go into the bigger ones. That would be my approach. Best wishes, cheers!
