I'd would've done the same thing if I watched a bunch of people's heads explode on live TV.

I thought the clip when Homelander slammed so hard on the blind supe's ears and callously had him shriek out loud struggling on the floor would turn out to be the top one WTF moment. That horrid scene really caught me off guard, and I just acted standstill like Ashley in the series when Homelander did that.
That was so freaking horror... That was so horrible even for Homelander
The fact that the guy was so happy to meet him, too. It broke my heart and horrified me at the same time.
For me it is even worse because the same actor played a character I really loved in supernatural, and he didn't exactly end well either

I would hardly call the relationship between Butcher's wife and Homelander an "affair." That implies consent on both sides. She was clearly under duress the entire time.

After watching BOYS now I understand the true meaning of "With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility"
And after seeing Homelander, I understood why Batman wanted to kill Superman in BVS.
According to Stan Lee, most people DON'T, because that isn't what he wrote. The line is "With great power _there must also _*_come_* great responsibility" (emphases mine). His point was that the two *don't* automatically come together (they didn't with Peter), and it frustrated him for the rest of his life that people misquoted and misunderstood the line.

Yea I started out HATING that character and I almost immediately recognized how amazing of an actor he was to be able to do that especially seeing as I'd never even heard of Anthony start before. The guys able star and I bet u we start to see him more often after the boys is done he isa phenomenal actor

Not only that he has Pyros ability and has his habit of carrying a lighter around when he's not in costume.

Maybe! However this felt like that Captain America movie had that scientist had no heart or remorse, which is pretty close. I still have that believe in the heroic Captain America figure, so in hindsight of watching the Boys, I thought Captain America needed a more fleshed out hero-story movie of his own where his heart was truly tested by the bullies even further corrupted with serums where just punching is not enough but more blood and mental torment as the other end of the spectrum for The Boys. The MCU was pretty meh somewhere in neutral.
Well maybe if its controlled by a sketchy institution.
But not all people are inherently evil so I think its the opposite. But then again I might digress

Good choices of scenes but I miss the one with the guy (the one that later helps out Starlight in her conquest against the company, and seems to be an old friend of her) that can heal and sells his body to other people for them to cut parts of it of for them getting turned on sexually by it. That definitely was one of the hardest WTF-Moments for me and should be on this list here.

I'm surprised the scene of when Homelander fantasises killing hundred of protesters in S2 didn't even make this list not even an honourable mention bc I bet when we all saw that first time we were all lost for words as Homelander massacred them.
Tbh it was predictable because homelander longs for people’s approval.
I hope that scene in The Boys with the whole "girls get it done" thing is a parody of that awful scene in Endgame (hopefully you know what im talking about)

@@Rahn-ft6qo Let me break this down to you, The scene in season 2 where Kimiko, Maeve and Starlight are beating down on Stormfront together is an awesome scene and doesn't feel contrived at al for me. The scene Endgame conveniently has all of the female superheroes show up in the same spot (while they are fighting this massive battle by the way) to stand next to each other like some splash page. The reason why the scene is awful is because of how contrived it was and not because they are women. The fact you think I'm a women hater is just hilarious.

When Stormfront reveals her true self and destroys that building chasing one guy, I was like "What...?!?!"

Considering the fact that we saw A-Train’s point of view when he fought Starlight at the end of season 1, the fact that he ran through Robin is even more fucked up since he can turn in real time.
Not trying to excuse what he did, but it was said that he was on V when he ran through Robin. Since V enhances powers, he was probably going too fast to avoid her in time, plus he was high. It still doesn't excuse the way he handled the situation afterward though.

Why does everything always go back to the plane crash? It’s like The Boys version of the Red Wedding from Game of Thrones!
Although it's not as crazy as blowing a hole through a whale or popping off people's heads, it's a dang strong social commentary. The moment you realize Homelander is choosing his clean image over lives of children that's when we really know how much of a pathetic and irredeemable character he is. The priorities of the rich and the powerful!

That whale thing still gests me every time. Yeah, I know its just a show and its not real but FUCK did they god dark on that one.
That scene at the Congress hearing was wild. Didn't experience getting caught off guard that much by a scene since GOT's Red Wedding. After that scene, I was always on my toes for the succeeding episodes who's head will pop next 🤣🤣
My personal favourite is when Billy uses the baby with laser eyes to kill Vought employees the look on the infant's face says it all(that poor kid lo so does Billy butcher's phsycopathic joyous reaction
This is one of those shows that is beyond good enough to make me overlook how much I totally hate the violence.
I’d usually have the urge to avoid anything that dark and bloody, but it’s just so amazingly good.

Honestly, I feel like if you can create something that’s good enough to make me just overlook wanting to avoid watching so much violence and, well Red Wedding type 💔 moments, well then hats off, and I’m in lol.
Billy reminds me of Simon from "Infinity Train". He has hateful attitudes towards Tuba, a denizen/null, but after being trapped, Simon trusts Tuba to use her tubas to open the cage while he covers his ears. After escaping, Tuba makes a joke about Roy and the two laugh, clearly now feeling understanding for each other. Tuba explains her love for Hazel and her daughter, who was killed and therefore made Tuba alone. They have to get up to the door before time runs out. Simon helps Tuba, opening the door only for the train car to suddenly start moving. Tuba and Hazel are left on the moving train car, so Tuba throws Hazel to the other side. Simon states that he will help Tuba once more to save her life, however his true plans remain keen on taking the life of Tuba from before, wheeling Tuba to her death. He feels proud of his actions as he explains this to Grace and Hazel, with the intent that he has done something of good nature. Grace scoffs at him and runs after an anguished Hazel, leaving Simon confused. I think Billy will do the same with the supes in his team, after Billy gets what he wants/needs. That's more interesting he doesn't have to be redeemed. He's not a good guy and like that's okay. Interesting characters can be villains. They can stay villains while having character development.
What about the scene at the super hospital that featured a guy with the ability to stretch a very particular part of his body
I found the deep getting his gills touched by the woman was more disturbing than the entire episode of herogasm

The crazy thing about the whole homelander and storm front situation is that storm front could possibly be homelander's mother
Now that you mention it, yes it's entirely possible... He has an Oedip complex anyway (his scenes with Madelyn Stillwell are very disturbing).
Butcher using a babies laser eyes was a big wtf moment for me. The deep kind of reminds me of Deadpool.

This show is so sharp, unpredictable, edgy, u never know what will happen, gory, bloody, intense, fuckin rollercoaster of a tv show. Excellent writing, i love it. Not the mention homelander is one of the most diabolical, psychopath loving villains put on screen
Homelander pushing the kid off the roof is one of my favorite moments, that little sigh he does is hilarious.

Just wait till they do Homelander's death this season or in a 4th or 5th season when it's revealed "Spoiler Alert for the comics" that the seemingly human ninja Black Noir has powers similar to Homelander due to the fact he's a clone of Homelander created by Vought to serve as their secret anti-Homelander contingency plan along with the fact Black Noir is even more fucked up in the head then Homelander himself

Calling The Boys a superhero show is like saying that playing Super Mario will make you the greatest plumber in history or help you speak perfect Italian; there is no cause-and-effect between the two and the real implication usually goes backwards from the stated thesis.

My WTF moment occurs throughout the whole series. Namely that people.. especially regular unpowered people like Ashley...choose to keep working at Vought and around an almost invulnerable unstable psychopath like Homelander.

I am hard pressed to think of any reason why I'd stay there by choice. As soon as I walk away from one of Homelanders menacing deranged hissy fits I am straight out the door not even going back to clean out my desk. Hell, they could even keep the last paycheck if I'd have to go back to get it.
And a scene from the first 13 mins of the first fucking episode in Season 3 topped everything on this list. Fucking diabolical.

In my school vr game the most wtf thing was that the character redmaw was a member of the boys and have the laser baby in her thunderjaw form head it was shown in the final mission before the reboot redmaw fired the baby at shattered glass rottanator and almost cut the gundam gusion rebake full city in half at the waist and have to reload by putting a baby bottle in the head and then it's empty it's ultimately revealed when on a hostage situation where redmaw threatening to kill shattered glass shade wife airtalon redmaw gets a call from Billy butcher and ultimately the mission ended with redmaw with the boys getting a new transformation cog and gained a new form a slaughterspine and had the ability to use a special trap that kills speedsters
I'm actually shocked that they managed to turn The Deep into a comic relief character after what happened in episode 1
Guy started out as a rapist, which made us hate him. Which made the scenes of him being a fuck up and loser even better. I think season 4 we'll see him go full psycho in an attempt too earn Homelanders respect
