Russians are winning😂😂
These guys obviously don’t know what the Security council is.
Skrypka played my grandfather's accordion on stage in Oslo last year. It is probably a hundred years old. Great concert :)
Shoigu probably wanted to retire but instead he was promoted to Secretary of the Security Council of Russia. The intriguing question is actually what Patrushev will do next.
Ramp up defense manufacturing, even more. I expect.
@@sickboy8682probably bring down cost so they have more money to prop up the economy
I believe Patrushev will be given a role where he can be Putin's right-hand man and take a bit of pressure of the President in engaging with foreign leaders and organisations. He and Putin are of similar age and both were in KGB together so they approach problems from an intelligence mindset.
Exactly. Shoigu wanted to retire a few years ago, like Putin. However, duty calls
The channel Inside Russia, run by an exiled Russian, has a great analysis of this topic. Very much recommend it. The guy Konstantin exaggerates sometimes and makes wrong predictions, but when it comes to facts and politics, he´s pretty good.
Your guest makes Kyiv sound like Carnaby Street in the ‘60’s.
I would think drone operator isn’t the idyllic existence imagined by most. There are a lot of different types of drones, but I expect that a lot of drone operators are close to infantry formations at the front and assiduously hunted by the enemy, much as snipers draw special attention.
Glide shovels
Russia has munitions factories working round the clock and more advance weaponry. Turns out they planned well. Obviously realised when Nato started to expand East that they were going to need them. Whereas the West is run by freeloading fools. Well, now they've been exposed.
Some top notch British story telling here. Almost as good as 'The Beano'.
THE LATEST from Josef Göbbles propaganda ministry.. 😂
Shoigu was never military, despite the uniform cosplay. Neither was Ivanov.

Loosing vovshansk this early is bad....really bad. Without a fight ? Was the city undefendable to begin with ?
Ukraine is losing
Turns out a lot of the money that went to building defenses was money laundered out. There are no contiguous defense lines in this area...
A lot of surrenders too. Obviously as a result of having no chance to defend in the first place.
@@jeffjames3111you are earning your kremlin potatoes
Every location is undefendable for Ukraine. Russian FABs and artillery make holding anything impossible without huge losses. However, Vovchansk hasn't fallen yet according to Russian channels. Just the Northern part. Ukraine prevented encirclement across the river for.now.
Putin has pulled the wests pants down! What a sorry band of jokers we look.
I know this podcast is recorded, just reported" Ukrainians report Russian "preparation" of the Sumy and Chernigov border areas.". If true, isn't that where the Ukrainians withdrew forces to reinforce Kharkiv?

Kharkiv is unimportant.
As soon as they deploy everything on Kharkiv the Russians will attack Odessa. Watch and learn
Kharkiv. Ah yes, I remember them. BBC's documentary about 9 years ago. 'Stadiums of hate'. Seig heiling on the football terraces because the opponents team was owned by Jews. Some of us don't have 6 week memory's.
Rule 1, on page 1 of the Book of War, is: ‘Do not march on Moscow' Various people have tried it, Napoleon and Hitler, and it is no good.
- Field Marshall Montgomery
speech, House of Lords, 30 May 1962
Who is marching on Moscow?
Montgomery was in general (pun intended) an idiot. He won against Romel, because US helped. But he made a donkey of himself in Market-Garden, when he got lots of British people killed for zero gain.
Rule 2: Anyone who respects 'Monty the idiot' is himself one.
But it wasn't their strength that kept Hitler at bay, it was the US literally feeding their troops and providing an insane amount of transport logistics and contemporary comm's. Barbarossa failed because the US kept Moscow afloat.
@@mfallen2023All Lend-Lease amounted to 10% of the USSR's spending on the war; the main supplies came after mid-1943, when the outcome of the war was already decided! So don't fantasize too much.
Good piont, nothing was for free just like today unless your Germany.
Keep the pressure on the russian reduction of energy exports and keep pumping and supporting non OPEC oil suppliers.
Igor Vovchanchyn.
I wouldn't make too much of the Russian reshuffle. It isn't that the people in the Russia's cabinet is incompetent, the fact that the Western sanctions on Russia's economy have universally failed and indeed have *strengthened* Russia's economy at the cost of the sanctioning nations' economies prove that the Russian cabinet is extremely competent. It is simply mandated in Russian law that the entire cabinet resigns on the date of expiry of each presidential term, and it provides an opportunity to carry out a reshuffle without disrupting the continuity of government. That the new Russian Defense Minister is an economist rather than a member of the military is not unusual. Shoigu himself was a construction foreman before entering politics, and the man he replaced was an executive in a furniture company.
True though western sanctions have impacted russian government revenue and its military industrial complex.
Economic growth of the Russian economy is largely as a result of heavy investment by the Russian treasury in the Russian military complex.
This is resulting in an in crease in the brittleness of the Russian economy.

Very unlikely they were able to build good fortifications on the border, and likely that the Ukrainian forces were hugely overmatched. So an element of Scape goating perhaps.

Because fortifications were in reach of artillery and aviation bombs. This is the problem when Ukraine can’t use USA weapons in Russian territory

Suggest he spend some time researching Russia's Security Council so that he understands Shoigu's new role.
Who knows what is the Russian intent, but the usual downplay of Russian military attacks by Dom.
We all know what is Russian intent! Ukraine took US guns to kill ethnic Russians. Russia wants to punish Ukraine and make sure Ukraine can never repeat this crime. So Russia will decimate Ukraine, just like Russia decimated Berlin/Germany in the past.
NO, Russia does not want any 'EU' countries. Germany is full of mosques, Paris has more non-French poor people than Algeria has, Brussels is full of 'Dark Continent' people, and they are all getting dirtier. U.S. way of war and Russian way of war very different, something tells me when Ukraine capitulates Russia wont be fighting an insurgency for 13 years against an army that simply left the battlefield mostly intact to fight as non uniformed combatants.
Last time Russia fought a 'real' war was against Germany. To this day, Germany is without any male organs, and subservient to USA, which it did earlier, to save itself from Russia. Ukraine cannot save itself by surrendering to USA, unlike Germany did. So, Ukraine will be without male organs for the foreseeable future, just like Germany is today.
