I don't mourn the person that was lost but I mourn the cause of death, if that makes any sense. It's incredibly sad to hear about anyone deteriorating because of drug use and eventually dying because of it. It can happen to anyone, good or bad, and it's just an incredibly sad way to die.

i'll be honest, i had never heard of twomad and only recently heard of him bc a few tiktok videos popping up where someone would make a joke about his death (i dont think death should be mocked, especially if caused by drug use.). from my current understanding, it reflects the community he built (aka a less than empathetic community) but also people that didn't watch him were making the kind of jokes he would make in his content which is... gross, in my opinion.
Also Mika, girl, you're so brave for sitting through a 2-3 hour Turkey Tom livestream I would not have the mental capacity 😭

As someone who knows nothing about Twomad, it was weird seeing most people just clowning about a man's death
If it can offer any perspective from there other side, I consider myself a pretty empathetic person but I don’t believe respect should be given freely and thus those who don’t offer respect to others during their lives, do not deserve it in their passing. While I empathize with the family I think the reaction from the internet was completely well deserved.
It seems like something he would want, though, given his tendency to troll during his short life. I hope twomad is at peace however troubled/ erratic/ problematic he was.

I do think it is worth noting that a good portion of people clowning on twomad's death aren't just doing it bc he was a pretty shit person, but also because thats 100% what he was like and would do. 100% he would make horrific jokes about a person's death, 100% he wouldve taken it too far. And unfortunately, that's just the community he cultivated. It's very "i didnt think they'd eat my face!"
I had watched some content he was in bc my little brother was a RussianBadger fan. TwoMad was funny, however I could see how the 'type' of audience he cultivated might not be the most empathetic.
Do i think its a little fucked up? Yeah. Do i think its surprising? Absolitely not. Had I clowned not on the manner of his death, but the fact that his pedo ass was gone to my brother in private? Sure did.
I think it boils down to a mix of cultivating a community that isn't the most empathetic, having a history of taking the piss out of everything, and his history of paedophilic actions that made it "free game" for very left-leaning people who didn’t like his ass. (The culture of joking about people's death, but it being okay becausr they were a "bad person" is definitely a noticeable trend in self-described progressive people, but that's a whole nother conversation)
In the end, terrible way he went, terrible that people have turned it into clowning on drug abuse and overdose, but it really wasn't surprising.
I do agree as a person who believes in harm reduction and empathy for drug users I can't lie hearing anyone die from overdose seriously breaks my heart at the same time something in me can't empathize on a deeper level than that knowing the shi he has done in his short time on this earth , I'm not expecting perfection from someone who is clearly experiencing a crap ton of mental anguish to be doing ket on a daily bases , it's kinda like the ye situation I empathize with his mental health struggles and understand how they could lead to his problematic behavior but it does get to a point were my empathy stops there . I also wouod like to hear your critics on joking about a "bad " dead person as a communist and atheist I personally don't care for making jokes at a morally reprehensible person but at the same time I do understand I'm some cases a little more nuance is applicable

I just have always found it interesting that in our left leaning circles we're the first to talk about being empathetic and not taking the piss because "they won't see it but your friends who X will" but if a person is legitimately a cunt its fine to mock their death. And my dad, and people I knew, got REALLY uncomfortable by me making jokes about his death...until I linked or showed them a news article that he was a convicted child sex offender, and them BOOM, jokes about his death were fine.

I personally think its a fascinating thing to watch, especially in internet spaces where there is that element of anonymity. I also find it interesting bc like...I look at it this way; had, for example, Slazo died before the accusations against him where proven false, jokes about his death would be fine, whereas it turns out he wasn't a "bad" person.
Then you also have how much of a fan base they have. TwoMad had a substantial fan base, but, as a just like wild situational example, if Dream died, I'd consider jokes about his death free fucking game. But his fans certainly wouldn't.
Back to the kpop world, I was once banned on twitter because I said something along the lines of "lmao I hope Seungri dies in prison". This was tied into a case of him being involved in the drugging and sex slavery of women, them sharing nonconsensual sex material of those women. He was convicted. I think a joke wishing death on him is fair game. But it wasn't to a LOT of people, despite him LITERALLY going to jail for it.
Which brings me into the sphere of; its interesting that how well liked a person is plays into the acceptability of joking about their passing. Yes TwoMad had a following, but you can argue he wasn't necessarily well-liked.
Anyway, I just think its a very interesting ethical discussion. Yeah. Sorry about the long response lmao
The worst pain I've been in was when I developed a knot in my back which began to spasm uncontrollably. I was screaming in the ER for 4 hours before they'd give me anything. The nurse kept asking me to stop screaming because i was scaring a child (who the parents had 0 control over). When they finally gave me something, it was the horse tranq. It was one of the single worst experiences in my life. I stopped screaming and immediately relaxed, but I got crazy paranoid and thought I was in a coma, and no one could hear me even though they were responding to me. I couldn't register they were responding to me and my panic only worsened. Thankfully the "high" didn't seem to last long, and I was kept several days on some heavy muscle relaxers and pain meds to allow my back to heal. I honestly don't understand how people could choose that recreationally over something like weed. I hear it helps with depression in low doses, though, so i understand people trying that.
It's a dissociative it's helps others to disregard their terrible life through forgetting everything like xanax , I'd imagine you were given a dose not good for you personally and not to mention given under deress causing you to panic so that informed your experience with ket , your dose wasn't low enough for you to gradually understand it's effects ,
i used to watch him very early on when he made overwatch content (2017) and its been insane observing his downfall over the years. he used to be nowhere near as erratic in his early days of creating content

I don’t know how I feel about 3rd parties clowning on twomad’s death, but from what I’ve seen I think it’s more than understandable that the people’s he’s hurt and apparently almost murdered have nothing but ill will towards him. It's sad he died from abusing a substance because you're never in a good place if you're abusing a substance. However, it doesn't negate his actions while he lived. It was unacceptable and disgusting how he acted. I think his death can bring about conversations about the mental health and substance abuse crisis happening right now. Especially with many of these people becoming violent towards others.

This is the first video I've watched of yours and you've got a new sub. This is the only video I could find on Twomad that isn't biased and has EVERYTHING you need to know because there's just so much lol I'm sorry but I can't bring myself to sympathize with someone who was a self admitted abuser, but anyone who took time to clown on his death has no life lol
I think the biggest problem is how platforms enable these people who say "edgy" things just for the sake of starting a fire. If it wasn't Twomad it would've been somebody else. Ultimately I do feel sorry for the guy, seems like a very maladjusted person who used the most terrible coping mechanisms.

I used k inappropriately (8% topical but I used imprecise amounts via my 6 o’clock where it has a >75% bioavailability but per os this drops to 15% because it is extremely susceptible to metabolism by bile).

It might have contributed to (now subsided) episodic complex tactile hallucinations and pseudo psychosis for years after stopping. But I was on orphenadrine (antihistamine, anticholinergic, anti-nmda, D1 reuptake inhibitor).
I do have one permanent but subacute lasting effect: nystagmus when I’m tired or on other substances but only my mom notices. Kay does induce nystagmus by a nmda blockade in the temporal lobe which mimics the nystagmus seen in schizophrenia which is very interesting.

It's sad to see that people can't be respectful about a death and still recognize that maybe the person wasn't the best. He was still a friend, a son, a brother, etc. He died very tragically and I think instead of making memes about this dude that died we should use this as an opportunity to warn against substance abuse and encourage people to hold their friends and even the people that they watch accountable for their actions.
I agree with everything but the part that some how the life of a person terrorizing people is somehow more precious the second their heartbeat is 0bpm . This man regardless of how much his substance addiction informed it or not was acting very terrible is various ways , being an abuser , doing racist bs , and the literal kicker in this whole situation making fun /sexualizing a m*rdered 16 year old trans girl , it might just be my atheist way of hiking but I don't think so.eone dying now makes it immoral to critic or even make fun of a person I don't agree with making fun of his addiction or overdose because addiction isn't a moral issue it doesnt make you a good or bad person we as a society should have more empathy for drug users tho . I have empathy for him through his mental health struggles and addiction ut that's were it ends the things he has done can't be erased just because he's dead the people living are still experiencing trauma from it .

I'm not saying that now that he's dead he's magically exonerated from his wrongdoings, just that people should respect that after all, this is a human being that died in a tragic way. I'm not saying he should never ever be criticized for what he did, because what he did was awful. But is it worth stopping to his level, y'know? I just think it would be a more productive time if we focused on the victims of his behavior and also got ready to hold any other content creators out there accountable for their actions so this never happens again.
Lil story, I've known about Twomad since he was doing Overwatch meme content (Nerf Lucio and things in that vein). This was probably late 2017, early 2018? Around that time I got to know a few other Overwatch content creators. One of them (he changed his name several times, he went by Anonsings, Anonsthename, Bananon, so I'll just call him Anon), had gripes with Twomad, and in 2020 I learned about them. Anon claimed that Twomad reached out to him and a creator that he edited for asking for editing tips. Anon and the other creator told him no, and he claims that Twomad then began to harass them. At the time I wasn't sure what to believe because Anon was not a good person, and I found out shortly thereafter that he was grooming children so I trusted his word about as far as I could throw him. After all of Twomad's allegations came out, I wouldn't put it past him to have harassed Anon, but I'm also not quite sure. He claimed a lot of people were talking shit about him but it turns out that a lot of the people who were were the ones who knew that he was a groomer.
So yeah, just a lil bit of niche youtuber drama for you (if you'd call it that).
I think the entirety of UA-cam would have mourned his death had he just....chilled out in the last year. Its crazy how your last year on Earth is your biggest downfall. Also, the pedo/grape allegations dont help.
the entire situation makes me feel really gross. i was on twitter when it came out and people clowning on his death was really upsetting to me specifically as someone who’s lost family in a similar way. everything with jameskii and minx is a headache. this entire situation is just a lot. i hope everyone involved finds some sort of peace because jfc

@@erika2m16test kits and responsible usage because doing ket everyday is beyond crazy , using drugs as a crutch never works it always makes the situation worst. Coming from a person who recently had to stop all drugs cold turkey due to a dpdr panic attack induced by my 3 drugs of choice alchohol, weed , and dxm ,I now suffer with dpdr rather than just normal trauma .

The "proof" was literally an instagram photo of an woman in an mental hospital and even she came out and said that he wasnt an groomer. Then we get to the dangerous person part most of the evidence in the court document was literally him holding bb guns and so i highly doubt that there was only one photo that supported the claim that and also he kept an axe in his car for no reason

Twomad was an asshole, he harassed people had mental issues, and suffered from addiction. That’s as far as he is guilty of.

I’ve read all the court documents involving the allegations jameskii and bell made.
The documents include blatantly false information, dm’s taken out of context. It’s so bad that people are coming out after hearing their dm’s were involved in a case, saying jameskii took their situation and spinned it without their consent for his personal vendetta.
On topic of the sexual assault case it’s so unbelievably bad, for starters there is no ounce of substantiated proof at all in the whole case. It’s completely based on hearsay from an unreliable source. Secondly, the accuser completely lied so many times throughout the whole thing, which is verifiable from so many people even those who hated him. She omitted so many parts of their relationship, that her whole story literally falls apart and crumbles, many omitted facts prove massive parts of her story as false. They met on an escort sight, where they had a purely transactional sexual relationship(This is not mentioned once throughout the whole story she provided!). Lol throughout the video talking about her claims which don’t line up when presented with other facts btw, you spent 3 seconds to state there are many holes in her story
The pedo allegations have no backing whatsoever, the only thing you can find on the allegations is a 13 y/o directly coming out and saying twomad did absolutely nothing, as well as many mutual connections involved coming out as well saying the same thing.
The only proof they had was he harassed people, and even sexually harassed people online. Which is terrible but to spew lies about a dead man makes you just as bad as what he’s actually proven guilty of.
I hate channels that talk about stuff like this but censor certain words like in my opinion not just twomad but anyone covers peoples death but censores words your just doing it for views and money go get a real job
