I've figured out what 3:17 is meant to be!
It's got to be the Port Village theme from Super Kirby Clash, 34 seconds in: ua-cam.com/video/FMTiUAak130/v-deo.html
I know some people have pointed out it sounds sort of similar to Welcome to the New World, but I feeeeellll like they would have made it a bit more obvious if that was the intention. All the other leitmotifs are pretty loud and clear here, and it makes more sense that they'd incorporate one of the town themes

I'm glad you made this. The use of leitmotifs in kirby is crazy and nobody seems to cover it.
The series has some of the best use of leitmotifs period
With the leitmotifs of Mistilteiin, Tree Crown Without A Ruler, and the entirety of Magolor Epilogue, seems like was a great prologue to Team kirby Clash Deluxe and Super Kirby Clash, with Kirby's Return to Dreamland/DX, and I guess Magolor Ex and Magolor Soul are canon now, like Drawcia Soul and Chaos Elfilis.

@@StevePiPi Yeah, I mean people still tell me that this mode, magolor Epilogue is "non-canon", and for me at least, its canon, as Magolor Soul appeared in the intro of the sub game and this would explain Magolor's moveset in Star Allies.
@@minatokurasou7106 Magolor Epilogue is canon. It just means elements from the Extra Mode is canon, as it isn't too different from the normal mode except some new bosses plot wise.
@@4bitsvideos326i like to think that bosses like whispy woods ex aren’t canon but they can technically do those moves, however stuff like landia ex, lor ex, magolor ex, and magolor soul are canon (maybe also the doomers’ ex variants and hr-d3)

3:17 is awfully reminiscent of "Welcome to the New World" from Kirby and the Forgotten Land.
i noticed that too after making it, if its intentionally a New World leitmotif that would be a cool connection to Fecto Elfilis

@@lunathekuduruk1311 i definitely think its meant to be Egg Engines (identical architecture, and also you can see ruined buildings in some parts of Dangerous Dinner) but the resemblence to the New World is there. I'd guess that it's implying they colonized Halcandra after leaving their home

the bit where you go "Idk if this is a leitmotif" sounds a lot like Ready to Go! from Forgotten Land which I WOULD dismiss as a coincidence, but Magolor's second form always had wings that looked a lot like Fecto Elfilis's ears and Magolor's Another Dimension portals always looked identical to Elfilis's, a connection which the branches and leaves of Mistilteinn seem to really double down on. it vexes me...
Ya I think you're on to something, it definitely reminds me of Ready to Go! (and the change in percussion combined with the organs make it sound similar to Two Planets Approach the Roche Limit). If that really is the leitmotif there, then Fecto Elfilis's powers harnessed by the ancients may have been used to create the Master Crown itself.
@@StevePiPi See, that makes a lot of sense to me and I would have just assumed that from the start if it weren't for the fact that Void's most explicit connection to the rest of the lore (stronger than even the Dark Matter and Kirby stuff) is the way it summons multiple Master Crowns throughout the battle.
I like the idea of Fecto Elfilis not just being another reincarnation of Void though, so I think my current theory is that the Ancients crossed over to the mainline Kirby universe and attempted to use Void to recreate Fecto Elfilis's powers in a way they could control, only for it to backfire and create an artefact just as malicious and possess-y as the one they left behind in their home dimension.
@@lytmeowtif same, I always thought that the ancient's Fecto tech was the origin for a lot of magical artifacts (especially stuff like the Lor Starcutter and NOVAs which can open dimensional rifts)
Both fecto and the crown need a host to function
This may technically be unrelated, but also now in the remake, it's stated that the Sphere Doomers had a different form and used to be able to open dimensional rifts by themselves, with their motive for grabbing the Energy Spheres, Lor's mast and the Fruit Fragments presumably being to get that power back.
I dunno about any of you, but given what we know about the dimensional rifts in Return to Dreamland (from the Master Crown or otherwise), that leads me to believe the Sphere Doomers may have been some form or subspecies of Fecto. And if that is the case, then the fact that the Master Crown summons Dippas, Darpas, Dupas and Deppas - enemies noticeably similar to the Doomers in appearance - may be another possible connection.
I did not know there were kirby clash leitmotifs in this song, thats neat considering the credits after the boss
2:32 even though its technically the same leitmotif im pretty sure this in particular is supposed to be the Opening Cutscene of Return To Dreamland. the worlds first introductuion to Magolor. This rendition is also used in the original games credits.
For having such a fresh unique sound, this piece has some incredible thematic elements and storytelling!! Absolutely obsessed with it. Thanks so much for making this video, I love analyses like these.

Can you please do a video like this for other Kirby boss music? Almost every final boss theme in the series has leitmotifs all over the place and having a video that lays them all out like this is amazing!

I just realized this, but 2:26 until 2:36 is the theme when choosing a Quest to play in SKC/TKCDX. The melody of both sound REALLY similar. Might be wrong, though.

Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe feels like a ‘merge’ game of Team Kirby Clash Deluxe / Super Kirby Clash as well as Kirby and the Forgotten Land tbh. This music and the Two Planets Approach the Roche Limits have a very simliar instruments (especially the violins) while using the leitmotifs of their respective games

Amazing video! Ive been wanting content like this for years with kirby! Please make more of these, it does such a great job at showing how complex and well thought out the music is, along with showing all the motifs that go into a song for people who have a hard time deciphering that.
The Road to Victory part also sound similar to Sky Tower, which makes since I think Ando mentionned the two songs were like the dark and light side of the same song (or at least I think I read something like this on the WiKirby)
I swore there was a Green Greens leitmotif in here. Every modern Kirby final boss has one.
I think only the one's that directly relate to Kirby have Green Greens in them. Unless they're not gonna do that anymore given HAL stated in an interview that after Star Allies they'll be starting a "new era of Kirby".
Two Planets and Mistilteinn are the two new final boss themes of this "era" and are missing Green Greens so the "new era" idea could be the case.
You should make more of these, I’d eat them up personally

The fact that there are too many leitmotifs of Super Kirby Clash gives enough proof that the Kirby Clash storyline happens after the Magolor Epilogue

3:18 is from Forgotten Land-- Redgar Forbidden Lands ( or the main theme in general, referencing how it's yet again. In another dimension ! [ literally, not the actual dimensional road itself ] )

Sounds like a real stretch to me, respectfully, Redgar out of all things would be a confusing “thing to reference” choice and they probably would make it more Redgar sounding

1:15 What if this part that also appears in CROWNED is the Crown's own theme? Magolor has his own theme, and by the time you fight Magolor Soul, you're barely even fighting Magolor, you're fighting THE CROWN.
Edit: WHAT IF the parts in CROWNED with Magolor's theme (the middle and the start) represent Magolor desperately trying to break free from the Crown's wrath?

The music as Castle village is correct (but use ua-cam.com/video/VMMrlN_svLs/v-deo.html&pp=gAQBiAQB8AUB as it it more accurate to the mainly used version), the BACKDROP is wrong (static.wikia.nocookie.net/kirby/images/0/03/SKC_Village_Castle.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20190930062921&path-prefix=en is the correct one). That part sounds similar to crowned, but is missing a lot of the crowned motifs (no pizzicato violins and the notes aren't the same)
