  • This is part 2 of Tour Salem with a local, where we do a 360-degree tour standing in one spot on Brown Street. Salem is so much more than the Witch Hysteria of 1692. Check out this video and see for yourself!

Thank You, again! I just found your channel today!
My grandmother was a Peabody and very proud to be a cousin to these very influential women.

Can’t wait to get back to Salem do you think Salem will be safe to return this fall or next spring. I didn’t know that part of the Peabody Essex museum existed. Good vid didn’t know some of this information.

Salem tries to be as safe as possible, but as of now restrictions are voluntary although some business still ask for masks. It is a personal decision but if you are in a huge crowd of strangers I personally think it is a good idea.

so many of these buildings can be toured with the Peabody Essex Museum ticket?

Yes, the Peabody Essex Museum owns many historic buildings that were open for touring prior to Covid, but they have not reopened- I am hopeful they will. PEM did add a self guided walking tour of the Brown Street courtyard which is wonderful.
