  • Get a better Leg Workout at home with Resistance Bands and a Foot Plate. A lot of people think you can not get a good leg workout at home because you don't have the large equipment that you find at the gym like a leg press, or squat rack. I should you how you can get a great leg workout at home that is in fact better than the gym. I use only 2 resistance bands and a ‪@ClenchFitness‬ footplate for all the exercises.     Awesome video! I really like your tips for the lunge and deadlift exercises. I find that sometimes I make my dead lifts with bands more of a leg exercise and these are great pointers for correcting technique.

    Clinch Fitness site is great. But Dave just took it a Discipline Level. 💪🏻 Lunge suggestion is fantastic.

    That floor plate is a must, I need to get one.
    I've tried deadlifting with bands about 6 months ago using my feet as anchor points, and because I went heavy (4-5 rep max), my feet would start folding in on themselves as they couldn't hold the bands resistance. I use to use 6 bands as one total weight, my best guess would be about 110-120kg at the bottom and at the top would be about 180kg-200kg, I am pretty much stretching the bands to double their start length. It is insanely brutal for the traps.

    Great workout tutorial. I have a question. Does this Clench Footplate allow you to do workouts you otherwise couldn't? Does it make doing specific workout more efficient? Thanks in advance.

    Dave, did you workout only using band loop or combine with free weights too?

      I do about 70% bands and 30% weights. Weights mostly for legs but with this new footplate. That is changing

    You can get a far better leg workout using Ripped Ramp Squat wedge with resistance bands and a squat harness. I’ve attempted on multiple occasions to reach out to you, Discipline Dave, but you won’t even get back to me. Why is that?!

    How does the Foot Plate work with non-Clench branded bands? Is there any downside to not using their specific bands? Does the 41-inch refer to the length of the bands or the length of the loop? And last but not least are 41-inch bands the industry standard because I can not find any listing that detail the length of the bands nor the loop? Thanks in advance.

      Yeah, that’s the industry standard. It will work with any loop bands.
