As a Bangladeshi and someone who has worked at Daily star and some other news papers, Daily Star and Prothom Alo (same parent company) are just as corrupt and complicit, in fact, they simply played good cop in the media, using one true report as bait to validate 100s of propaganda reports. Most of media was silenced, but they were complicit, not the journalists, but the organization.

Hasina Govt tried her very best to shut down these two news portals multiple times with pointless case filed against them! The level of Govt expose news they both did majority of the other news portals didn't even do half of that! PALO & DS played a very important role in supporting the student movement during the months! Don;t be a sheep and use your brain before publicly accusing them on things they didn't do ... The top management of both media have strong ties with Hasina and India. People in Bangladesh also protested in front of Prothom Alo office for its role.

As a Bangladeshi with even a modest level of awareness, I have a question: why does every international media outlet have to be biased? While some may appreciate their focus on positive aspects, this approach neglects deeper, more critical issues. After the fall of Sheikh Hasina’s government, we harbored many dreams of fundamental change, but none have been realized. Prices of essential goods remain unchanged, even after three months. People continue to lose their lives due to political affiliations, often as a result of political vendettas, with the current interim government turning a blind eye to justice. Victims are denied legal representation and are unable to hire lawyers to defend themselves. Every day, hundreds of protests erupt across Dhaka, leaving people increasingly disturbed and frustrated. Despite widespread hopes for meaningful change, nothing significant has occurred, prompting many to wonder if we were better off before. Yet, none of these critical issues are addressed in the documentary.
