The Truth About Foxy LV

Welcome back! Todays video is a little different. We will be talking about the rise, legacy, and hiatus of Foxy LV. Foxy LV is a popular luxury handbag blogger who through the span of the 2010s and 2020s amassed a huge social media following for her extensive collection and brand knowledge. She utilized both Instagram and UA-cam until a few months ago when both pages were unlisted resulting in community disruption. I felt called to make this video after the final discussion I had with Foxy in February - shortly before her hiatus. Many of the things she shared were heartbreaking and absolutely warranted a social discourse. Foxy LV in some cases has been a controversial figure in the community. Many have had criticisms of her, including myself at times. But regardless of these small differences, Foxy is an icon and a legend. More importantly she is a pioneer in the community who impacted and inspired MANY. Her hiatus has sparked much conversation and controversy. Where is she? Why did she disappear? What does she owe her fans and followers? Will she be back? Many of these are questions I can’t answer. But they do speak to the nature of her departures impact. They also warrant a further discussion on lessons learned in the context of social media literacy, parasocial relationships, and mental health. Let’s talk about it!
