Thanks y'all & all new subscribers who found us today for tuning in. We had likely the best coverage I've ever been a part of in every branch-radar analysis and near-term forecasting of tornado formation, storm chaser footage and ground verification, and the Y'all Squad 501(c)(3) raising six figures of relief funds. Document this stream and its impact for future scientific efforts and historical reviews.
Fantastic professional coverage! Thank You
Thank you so much Andy, Ryan & the Y'all Squad ❤️
You have almost certainly saved lives today ❤
Does anyone know if there will be anymore activity tonight or overnight that chasers will be going Live?
That was a good stream Ryan and andy
The GOAT strikes again
I watched this all day long. This was an amazing broadcast. We had it playing all day in my fire station. The whole shift and all of our chiefs were watching today just south of Kansas City. Same thing will be happening tomorrow. Thanks for everything you do!
From south KC to all of y'all....rest well tonight. JOB well done for all! Thank you!!
Y'all ready for today?
Thanks for everything YOU do @alexsheldrake6189. From, Kansas City 💙
I live in Papillion, NE (Southwest of Omaha) and we got missed by the elkhorn bennington tornado just to our north. The dang sirens went off 5-7 times today. Thanks so much for doing what you do and keeping everyone in america safe! And as always, Great job Ryan!
Glad you’re safe!
@@wendysbaconator1175 Me too!
@@abbeystackhouse9562yummy
I am extremely glad you are safe, Elkhorn was a extremely strong tornado and its look was menacing.
@@kevinjoyce285 yummy
I've been living here in Lincoln for almost 11 years, and I haven't been in a event quite like this ever in my life. First time in my life I had that eerie feeling where I thought that I was going to die just seeing the tornado touchdown at my neighborhood. I was emotional hearing and seeing the tornado in Elkhorn as I've never seen anything like that ever. This was truly a unforgettable night, my thoughts and prayers to those who are injured. 🙏
Glad you're safe. Love from Missouri 💜
Glad you're still with us. This is unbelievable. Much love from Vermont 💗
Glad you're safe and sound!!
Had one in my area for the first time ever! The shock took days to wear off. It was so scary. Praying for you! ❤
THIS IS LIKE WATCHING COPS BUT WITH WEATHER!!!
The mainstream news will never be this good!!! 👏 👏
I love the all caps comment. lmao
I'm tornado-phobic. Got pulled off the ground as a child and managed to catch the side of a pool deck and flew like a flag in the wind until it passed, and that was a baby tornado. Ive been terrified since. I cannot imagine dealing with these monsters or living in an area where they are frequent. Truly hoping everyone is ok!! You're doing great work keeping people informed and safe!
This was unreal to watch unfold. Thank you Ryan, as always, for such amazing and dedicated coverage in these times of crisis! You and the whole team are incredible and we love you!! ❤️
2:24:39 - Tornado Emergency in Nebraska begins
2:27:23 - 2nd Tornado Emergency for Nebraska/Iowa issued.
4:29:50 - Tornado Emergency in Iowa begins
What a night. If I'm correct, 3 tornado emergencies. And all of them were violent, last night's intensity was unbelievable. The width of some tornadoes were just mad, this event is just incomprehensible
thankyou!!
🙏
Outstanding coverage.
4 tornado emergencies, actually
My daughter moved to Lincoln a few months ago. She called me when the tornado warnings went out, as she didn't know what to do, but when the sirens went off, she got to shelter. I tuned in to watch your coverage of the events from my home, here in France. I really appreciated your presentation of all the craziness. I shared your channel with friends and family, of course. Please keep doing what you do, as it really helps keep folks safe and informed.
I will be watching today, for sure!
Thank you for all you, the Y'all squad, and storm chasers do!! May God continue to bless y'all and y'alls families.
Scary how so many tornadoes turned into violent wedges within seconds of touching down.. Happy to hear the Elementary School took no damage though, there was definitely someone watching over everyone today to hear of no fatalities (to my knowledge.)
I hope we get this lucky tomorrow.
This was the craziest tornado outbreak I’ve seen since march 31st last year.
That Minden tornado was maybe a EF5
Craziest Tornado outbreak I've seen from a day that wasn't even a moderate risk, let alone a high risk
@@sadtimes1108 If it were, it's going into 2nd place right away. It would definitely beat the December Derecho, the Rolling Fork, The Pi day, The June 15th Tornado Outbreak, The August 7th Storm, The South Carolina Tornado Outbreaks, The Mayfield Tornado, and it probably might beat the great March 31st Tornado Outbreak.
This tornado was an EF5 in Nebraska and it is in the top 20 biggest tornadoes in the United States and there hasn’t been an EF5 here in 11 years
@@Fortnite_TrashPlayer It was only an enhanced risk. Nadocast's absurd prediction was actually right. This could be the #1 stream of Ryan Hall Y'all.
what a crazy day, hope everyone affected by these storms are OK
Unbelievable day today. Thank you for all the lives you likely saved with your coverage, as well as relaying what was likely tornado footage that got people to shelter in time.
I'm gay big daddy
Thank you for this Ryan, We dodged the tornado in DSM by travelling North of Ames. Thank you and all your ppl !!
It's insane to watch stuff like this unfold live. Those cyclical cells in Iowa were wild, and the coverage y'all had was SO detailed. 6 high-quality angles on a storm is sick to begin with, but watching them *live???* 100 years ago photos of tornadoes were a rare commodity, and Ted Fujita had precious few videos to work with when he was developing his intensity scale. Now I get a nearly 360 view of a monster hand-off with radar data synced to it and analyzed in real time. Absolutely insane, and we are so lucky to have y'all. 👏👏👏
This team is an invaluable resource for people on the ground. I think the stream of this outbreak is gonna go down in history right along with the storms themselves.
I'm traveling through central Kansas tomorrow, and it's a huge comfort knowing I've got Ryan to turn to if we end up having to drive through storms. ❤
I live in des moines and didn't expect tornadoes to reach us, I started getting my cat ready with plenty of time because of the stream -- I never got the watch before the warning so it really helped!
Some of the footage coming out is absolutely unbelievable!!! Thanks for all the hard work and effort crew. It was one crazy day.
Ryan you and that staff of storm chasers are amazing and life savers. Stay safe and be careful.
Another nearly 9 hours of my life well spent.
Same
Same here as well
Same 😅
Found Ryan when I was a OTR driver. Saved my can several times. Love that yall are still at it.
One of the best chasing videos all at once on this stream. Multiple chasers different angles of the tornados.
Thank you for your Kindness and keeping us posted on the severe outbreak of tornadoes. We have watched your channel a few years now and today, you covered my home town of Omaha and near towns too. I have Family and loved ones including Omaha, Millard, Louisville,Lincoln, Bellevue and IA 🙏
Thank you for all the hard work you guys here put in. The start of the Lincoln to Omaha tornadoes was some of the best footage I’ve ever seen. Thank you again for staying up and for those chasing, risking your lives for us.
Wow, what a day, Thanks Ryan and all the Mods and storm chasers :)
Holy hell. I watched this entire event unfold and I don’t even live near any of these areas. You’ve peaked my curiosity beyond measure and have helped me realize I want to take steps into studying meteorology.
What a beast of a tornado outbreak. I’ve never seen anything like this and truly hope those in the path are okay! Thank you to all of those who contributed on this stream, who risked their lives storm chasing, and kept so many people in tune/up to date as it was unfolding. Yall are truly heroes.
I live in Bennington where the tornado ripped through the damage is very sad. That tornado was a monster the damage it also caused in Elkhorn.. It just shredded neighborhoods. Very sad for those people that lost their homes.🙏
Prayers for you and everyone affected 🙏🏻💙
Thank you from all of us in Iowa for today, Ryan! You’re saving lives one day at a time doing this!!!
I was driving through Osceola when that first tornado warning went off; since I was driving, I figured Id put on your live stream since I couldnt watch the radar. Within seconds of me turning it on, that tornado warning came through on your stream, well before my cell phone went off with the warning, and certainly before the alarms went off in town. 6:44:14
In the Des Moines area tonight -
So grateful for you! I know you have to get some rest before tomorrow - but as luck would have it, the sirens started up again in West Des Moines just as you signed off for the night! A little meteorological irony, courtesy of Mother Earth! 🤣 Seriously, though, even with public radio active and NWS alerts live on my phone, your coverage tonight was ahead of them all by a significant margin, both in terms of timing and completeness of information! Thank you so much for what you do! Imho, THE most reliable weather info to be had, anywhere!
Today was absolutely relentless. I don’t know if Ryan will see this but you should drink some “throat coat tea” for your voice! You can get it any grocery store.
A lot of music artists drink it after shows. That was quite literally nonstop talking for 9 hours! I hope you guys get some rest and thank you for the UNBELIEVABLE coverage today. You guys are top notch and the only place I go to for weather coverage. Thank you Ya’ll Team! 🙏🏼
Thank you to your wife as well 💕 I know y'all have 2 little ones to take care of 😊
I second this comment as a singer! He works SO hard, it would very much help him.
Thank you for the coverage and an extra huge thank you to all those donating to the Y'all Squad.
I've seen the help your relief funds give to all those people that have experienced great devastation. I am especially thankful that the Y'all Squad gives money to help animals in need and those great people that help them. Warms my heart that people don't forget to help them too in the midst of this madness. Breaks my heart to hear of loss of life from livestock from these tornadoes 💔 I hope that people are able to help animals injured right now or lost.
I remember the awesome man who was helping injured pets for free some time ago after a tornado hit. You gave him money to help these pets. I love that people like him exist along with you all. On today's steam, I heard that Chris Hall was conducting an animal rescue. Thank you, thank you Chris for trying to help them.
Again thank you and may God bless all those affected by these storms. 🙏🫂 it's going to be some tough days ahead, but help is there, more help will arrive. Please hang in there. Be strong.
I’m a meteorologist that lives in Omaha. Very impressive signatures on radar. A tornado also hit the eastern side of Eppley Airfield in Omaha
Ryan, Andy, and crew, you all did an amazing job today, and yes I followed you from beginning to end.
I hope you saved many, many lives today🙏🏻
Ryan we all appreciate what you do so much! No other place I’d rather go for my weather coverage, you’re the best!
You guys are heros for your knowledge, warnings and exhaustive reporting. Thank you!
Watched all day and prayed. Thank you for your coverage on this and all you do. I cannot believe the amount of tornadoes
RYAN, I was watching your coverage ftom SW Iowa this afternoon. My acreage took a direct hit near Treynor, Iowa. We are all safe, but our home and acreage are devastated. Thanks for your great coverage today!
sorry to hear :( glad youre safe
Kris I saw this tornado supercell as I was leaving downtown Omaha driving south on 1-29 just of the big power plant and I saw it was going to cross over and go north of Glenwood towards Treynor area. I saw the devastation your home & acreage suffered on FB, ugh I'm so sorry! 😢 I'm so glad you are all okay! ❤
I don't think I've ever seen a singular cell of activity hold up for that damn long for HOURS like it did. That was insane.
This is probably the wildest live stream I’ve ever seen. Thank you so much everyone involved for your hard work. Stay safe out there, see you tonight.
What a day, hope Y'all are ready for tomorrow!
In Missouri,hoping tomorrow isn't as bad! 🤞🏻
That was very intense for several hours. Great job to Ryan and all the storm chasers. Lots of good real time information for those who needed it. Great work guys!
This brought back El Reno flashbacks. That was absolutely wild. Thank you for all your hard work!
I was thinking the Elkhorn/Bennington tornado was reminding me of El Reno's mile wide monster
I've never seen anything like this - both the horrific weather and your incredible live coverage. THANK YOU SO MUCH- ALL of YOU!!! I am praying for all!! (Watched from Europe until I fell asleep at around 3 am, it's now 10:30 am., trying to catch up...)
lol almost me, except I missed the beginning tornadoes, and only lasted till 2.
I’ve been watching Ryan Hall Y’all ever since the 2021 Derecho, I’m so glad that he’s still going and still saving lives. Thank you, Ryan ❤
Thanks for saving lives guys
I live in Minden Iowa. I got a video of it starting and ripping up houses. I thank Jesus I’m alive and well. If we weren’t watching your stream, we could have very well not known when the tornado was coming. Thank you for all you do!
Ryan, Your very Good and very Professional with what You do on this channel. Thanks for giving all your best.
Thank u all Ryan and crew great job .this is awful prayers going up for all
Ryan u and your team deserve a medal for all u do Ryan should get a award for best
Commentary and your team for best pictures and stuff they risk their lives for everybody unbelievable it reminded me of a movie only this is in a movie it's real
Hi y'all thank u all for y'all's time in helping lives we really appreciate y'all .is severe weather coming towards Memphis tn Millington TN Braden TN and Savannah TN .
im in Omaha, this was insane. 2 tornadoes in a few hours. thanks for everything you do Ryan and the team!
Glad you're safe 💜 hoping tomorrow isn't as bad..
@@CaseyMarie11-11 same to you!
Had a feeling there was going to be a 10 % hatched that went crazy after all of the underperformances this year, and today was that day, unfortunately. Thank you for the amazing coverage as always, and prayers to all those affected by this horrific outbreak
Saturday's risk now has a moderate risk in eastern Oklahoma. Either this storm could be worse, or it'll be a bust compared to yesterday's storm.
This was my first time watching a Ryan Hall Y’all stream live, and oh my god, this is one of the worst ones by destruction. It was my first and I’m not sure if anything like this happens to someone like me. This tornado was ginormous and it left me shocked. I watched this for 3 hours straight
I honestly watched this stream much longer than that
@@rulaibrahim5205 dang
Thanks for today Ryan and crew. I notified friends. I so appreciate y’all.
It was a hell of a day
Great video. 8 hours is a lot. Wow. Hopefully your voice will be ready tomorrow.
That cell coverage was phenomenal!
I drove through Ohio the other day and seen the damage the tornado did to the trailer homes, I was like wow this is what you were covering like 1-2 weeks ago! Just crazy to see in person .
Amazing work Guys. Y'all are appreciated in Fulton, KY!! Stay Safe! Thanks to all of you!
This was the craziest tornado outbreak I’ve seen since march 31st last year
lol I didn’t know there was an outbreak then, thx for saying (obviously RIP to all who died in that and this one today 🕊️)
I agree.
April 10 was a bust, April 2 was a bust, March 25 was the hugest bust ever, August 9 was a bust, August 7 was the busiest storm all year but it only relied on size, and March 14 was another big tornado outbreak for Ohio.
Yeah all busts until this outbreak which made up for all the other busts.
@@dallascowboysnumber1fan This outbreak is a huge boom (opposite of bust). It's like economics.
@@rulaibrahim5205or the NFL draft lol
I just wanted to let you know how much you were appreciated yesterday, April 26th, reporting on the tornadoes in Nebraska. We recently moved to Greensburg, KY from Lincoln, NE and many of our friends were impacted by these storms. Keep up the excellent work and again, thank you!
This coverage was amazing. Thank you all.
as always, so incredibly grateful for your team and your dedication to keeping us as well as our loved ones safe. we love you guys! sending love and prayers to everyone affected.
I was watching this live yesterday..I noticed how quickly everything went nuts! It was absolutely indescribable how quickly one tornado warning after another came..then tornado emergencies! Then some PDS after that! Much credit to keeping up as much as possible during this overburdened time to everyone involved👍
This was the craziest stream I have ever seen. Ryan Hall’s streams put the weather channel to shame!
Thank you .
Thank you for the amazing coverage of this terrible outbreak. Hopefully lives lost was kept to a very tiny number.
You saved a lot of Lifes, house and car can be replaced . thank you and all the team did, GREAT JOB.
you never used to see close up of these naders, great job team for all you do , to document them, help others, and protect lives. Great job amazing documenting these now in HD, thanks for helping others in need, Sunday looks like a bad day being higher risk
Im in Missouri and im hoping since you're no longer live, that means we are all clear for tonight??
Hoping for a calmer day tomorrow 🤞🏻 as well as here in Missouri! Prayers for everyone affected today 🙏🏻💜
This is the best storm coverage I’ve seen in over a decade. Thank you from Kansas City, Mo!
Hey Ryan thanks man! You actually talked about my neighborhood in des moines. Pretty cool (specially since we lucked out with no issues) but very cool and Erie to hear you say this neighborhood out of all places in the U.S.
In DSM Iowa. Hello and THANK YOU !
This outbreak was insane! I have a feeling we might see some EF3s or maybe even some EF4s for this outbreak
looking at some of the damage, there was definitely an EF4 today amongst all the chaos in the Omaha region. The question is, how well built were the homes that were leveled?
If it was considered to be an ef5, this would go down in history books as the unexpected outbreak of the century. Even nado underestimated the storm a little bit.
Hello all! Great coverage, saving lifes
I live in Neola and. Based the tornado into Minden. Got into town just after it passed…the devastation is catastrophic!
The coverage of yesterday's storms, particularly the Minden, IA tornado, was award winning. The best live storm coverage I've ever seen of any weather event. 3 live angles of one tornado. Real-time coverage that can help save lives. Kudos to your team. Really well done.
Did y'all think those Armageddon movies were made for nothing?..lol I hope those storm chasers are getting paid...they do amazing work! Stay safe and thanks for this feed!
I have someone very close in Elkhorn NE
She said they never got any warning until it hit the ground.
Found your stream today. Live in SW Iowa. Thanks for all the fantastic coverage!
I live in SW Iowa too! Was working in downtown Omaha and drove down I-29 as the tornado was getting ready to cross the interstate! So scary!
Thanks for sharing!
wow. this was scary. i live on the southeast side of des moines, and that storm was definitely something. i am so thankful for your stream and all of the meteorologists and fire teams keeping people safe. 🙏🏼
Thank you🙏🙏🙏
I live in Waukee, Iowa, just west of Des Moines. The strongest tornado went two miles south of me. Scary.
Edit: Still getting hammered with storms right now, I can’t sleep
Can't imagine... praying for you all
Stay safe!! I can't imagine what this is like....
I live on the other side of the pond, but I jump into watch the amazing coverage... The amount of lives that have been saved (again!!!) last night in possibly one of the most active deviating tornado spells (I definitely have seen) is 2nd to none! Thank you Yall Squad ♥
It amazing how many people do not pay any attention to what the weather is doing. I pay more attention than most, but many pay zero attention so never assume that people in an affected area are aware of potential dangers.
I started this stream as the first live Tornado touched down on this chat. Became a new subscriber today. Will probably become a member later today.
Im curious how many tornadoes touched down compared to the tri state outbreak. Thankful to christ the storms missed where I lived in iowa. Prayers for those affected.
Thank you for being with us while we went through this. You kept me as calm as I could be while my family was in the basement. We, Thank God, didn't get hit but we could hear the tornado go by in the distant very clearly. 25-35 blocks to our west at the time. Then it ripped through Elkhorn. They're suffering this morning. The Red Cross is taking donations for the three cities out there that really got hit bad. Several people in my local groups lost everything. Houses just gone off their foundations in the blink of an eye. Several houses out there don't have basements. :( Not to mention the second tornado that ripped through our airport.
What a crazy sequence of events
We got screwed in the Omaha metro today. Pray for the future of the people in elkhorn. Super sad. Going to go help tomorrow.
You're a good person. Thank you for helping those in need.
Thanks for this, happened 5 miles west of me.
Ryan, you, and all of your crew and chasers undoubtedly saved lives yesterday. This was the best storm coverage I've ever seen. Thank you for sticking with us all day.
I live in central Saline County, NE. I was watching the radar indicated tornado north of Swanton. There was a wall cloud and rotation but a funnel never formed.
Me making a comment for my future self to look back on for when I rewatch this stream to help 💤
Beautiful sharing..♥
Amazing broadcast!
Crazy you mention Clay Elementary. My family and I are just a football field away from clay
