I have had this type of bursitis since the fall of 2023. On 5/16/24 I dislocated my elbow and my triceps tendon ruptured. I also have Ehlers down syndrome the hypermobility type and I am not a candidate for surgery.
I’ve had elbow bursitis for 8 months- it was drained once in January but filled back up. I have an appointment with a new sports medicine orthopedic surgeon in a week. I’m not sure what treatment I can try now. It’s getting painful, like a band is around my elbow. Help!

I've had the Popeye Elbow. Fortunately, it resolved with no treatment.
